If there’s one indisputable truth in this world, it’s that men like Bram Galloway are pure trouble. And if there’s one indisputable tragedy…it’s that they’re impossible to resist.
When I greet my new employees, I don’t expect the arrogant bartender in a hoodie and sunglasses to be the same guy I fooled around with a few weeks ago. Guess I’m just lucky, that way.
Bram is everything I can’t … way.
Bram is everything I can’t stand in a person: big ego, trite lines, smart mouth. Firing him is long overdue.
Too bad I can’t. Not without looking petty, at least.
We may have only met once, but I know he loves bets. So I make him one. If he can get himself together and stay that way for thirty days…I’ll keep him.
I’m quick to elaborate: keep him on the staff.
But the closer we get to Day 30…I’m not so sure that’s what I meant.

At my best friend’s wedding, Kennedy Flynn shot me down. Brutally.
Then, almost instantly, she changed her mind—so she’s got a lot of nerve acting like I’m the only one dying for another long night in a dark room. Especially after the night I gave her.
I don’t care that she’s my boss. I don’t care that she hates me.
I want her.
And before this countdown even ends—I’m going to get her.
The Bartender’s Countdown is a standalone romance with an HEA and no cliffhanger. It is the fourth book in the Now Entering Hillford series by Piper Lennox.

The next Hillford couple
Bram’s life started out in the news, and not in a good way. But he’s a fun, carefree guy that everyone loves. Even if he drinks too much, all the time. He’s never wanted attachments, until Kennedy. But what does that mean in his world? Can he risk another person walking away because he’s not good enough?
Kennedy just wanted one night of unattached sex. When she walks into the bar she’s going to flip, she thinks her one night stand has already been let go. But he’s standing, no leaning, right there. Nursing the mother of all hangovers. Can their one night stay in the past or will it complicate everything?
This is the fourth book in the Now Entering Hillford series but is read as a standalone. Bram and Kennedy meet at a wedding and have a night of passion. Imagine the shock when she buys a tavern and ends up being his boss. This book is a real cute romance that’s heavy on steam and passion. Their back and forth banter is hilarious at times. The characters are well developed and likable. The story will grab your attention right at the beginning and you’ll find it hard to put down. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review. A great addition to the series.
I have so enjoyed this series! I love that these are regular people. Not billionaires, not alpha jerks, not stereotypical in any way. They’re real, flawed, vulnerable and oh so loveable! Bram was so complex, even though at first glance he seems simple. I loved seeing other characters from the series more than just in passing.
Loved the book, the chemistry was great. Solid fast paced story.
Get ready to lose your heart!!
This is the fourth book in the series. It can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the whole series as many of the same characters appear in all the books.
Bram has had me intrigued from the very first book. I can honestly say I was not disappointed! One of the many reasons I love reading Piper Lennox’s books is her ability to write the wonderfully flawed characters. She absolutely nailed it with Bram! He knows he has flaws, but he’s still unapologetically Bram. Once his past was revealed, the floodgates opened up. Chapter 15 wrecked me!
While I loved Bram and the chemistry between he and Kennedy was scorching, it took me a bit to warm up to Kennedy. I was rooting for them the whole time and she obviously had a good effect on Bram, but she frustrated me when she would jump to conclusions or let her hang ups get in their way. Thankfully, she redeemed herself!
I loved this book so much! Not just the relationship between Bram and Kennedy, but the friendships Bram had with Soraya, and his relationship with his dad and Justine.
The last thing that I need to say is about the cover. JUST PERFECTION! It’s just completely Bram!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
5 plus Stars. Holy moly Bram I did not think I would love you as much as I do, but man do I. I know I said this about Hudson but seriously these imperfect, realistic characters with serious flaws are some of my most favorite to read. In a world where we stigmatize addiction it’s nice to read about a character who is so incredibly human and good but at the same time is plagued by addiction. Bram is at that place where he wants to change, wants to be better but is afraid of failing. Meeting Kennedy gives him the push he needs. What’s stats as a friends with benefits no strings relationship turns into an absolutely beautiful love story.

Oh Bram Galloway, I knew you had it in you!!
Bram is your typical fun-loving, handsome bachelor that the ladies love. He sticks to one night stands so he won’t get hurt then he meets the beautiful Kennedy. Then everything changes with a bet.
I’ve been waiting for Bram’s story since The Midwife’s Playlist and I definitely wasn’t expecting his past to be so… messed up. I absolutely loved this book!!
Not just a heartbreaker for the broken hearted
The Bartender’s Countdown (Now Entering Hillford Book 4) by Piper Lennox is a very well written book with all the feels, shocking revelations, much needed healing. Bram has been an enigma since the first book in this series. A perpetual playboy, Bram is determined to never settle or need anyone. Kennedy, through a different experience, is determined with remain the same way, especially when it comes to Bram. What they don’t realize is how too late they are and it’s only their stubbornness and fears getting their own ways.
This book’s plot is a wonderfully well woven and blends both Kennedy’s and Bram’s pasts into an intriguing and compelling story. It will break your heart, pull your heartstrings and have you mentally cheering this couple on as they blindly stumble into the dreaded relationship territory.
A adore Bram. He’s a really wonderful character that’s got a heart of gold, but afraid to show it. Confident and cocky while deep inside, his self-esteem has suffered attacks that he battles constantly to over come. Kennedy is his match as she doesn’t fall for his lines and they have some great banter which leads to flirting which leads to exploring and allowing all their built up tensions explode. The chemistry is off the charts! Bram is a dirty talker!
Overall, a very well written book with amazing characters. Although the subject matter is heavy, these two, along with other characters from previous books bring some levity with banter and teasing, even a few laugh out loud moments as well. Best of all, Bram and Kennedy find their way through all the heart ache and heart breaks to live their HEA together.

I fell in love with Bram. I wasnt sure I would like him but he got under my skin. Bram is sexy, adorable, funny and has a painful past. And sometimes painful present. Kennedy is lovely and strong enough to expect more from Bram than everyone else does. Their love story is wonderful! I also loved visiting with the characters from the previous books. What a fabulous series!!!
