“Red coated his lips, vibrant against that ivory skin. He was the devil incarnate, dressed impeccably in Armani, and I had never seen a sight more terrifying.” Drain Me:When diagnosed with a fatal illness at the age of twenty six, Eleanor Gray is resigned to her fate—at least until the enigmatic Dublin Helos appears and makes her an offer she knows she should refuse:Life or Death? With a decision … Death?
With a decision as harmless as checking the wrong box on a mysterious questionnaire, Ellie is plunged into a dangerous world where souls are sold to the highest bidder and pleasure is fueled by pain.
The rules of this new life are simple: submit everything—mind, body and soul. But the further Ellie falls under Dublin’s control, the more she comes to realize that it’s not just her sanity at stake, but her heart and a whole lot of blood too.
Chain Me:
Once again resigned to her fate as a spinster, Eleanor is unhappily alone — until Dublin Helos reappears on her doorstep with an offer she can’t refuse.
This time, the stakes are higher than ever, and as the true extent of Dublin’s deception is revealed, Eleanor is forced to choose between trusting the one man she should fear above all else — or risk losing her soul, and heart, in the process.
But what’s a little blood between lovers?

Review of Book 1 DRAIN ME
Drain me has literally made me fall in love with vampires all over again. Ellie is terminal and just found out although she has suspected it she knew it was coming. Then she meets Dublin and he offers her life or death. She thinks its some silly game, but of course she chooses life. She didn’t know her life would forever be changed. I feel like falling for a vampire should happen this way. We see Ellie come from wanting not caring whether she lived or died to having faith in herself and becoming own and realizing she is more then just her parents money. Dublin is alpha jerk most of the book but you see how protective he is with her and you know he loves her. I loved Drain me. Now anxiously awaiting Chain me.
Review of Book 2 CHAIN ME
Oh how I love hate Dublin. He is the biggest ass you love to hate. I was confused as to why Ellie was sick…but then had the big ah hah moment. This story is so well written you find out so much about Dublins past. Ellie comes into her own and if any vampire deserves a HEA its definitely Dublin and Ellie. I hope your not done with Dublin and Ellie and we get more of them in then future but for a now this twisted dark love story will suffice. Thank you Lana again for another phenomenal story!
Chain me
I waited so long for this book and it’s absolutely amazing!!! Lana outdid herself with this and it was worth all the waiting. The plot, the twists, the chemistry between Dublin and Eleanor, all of it it’s mind blowing. Thank you Lana for this amazing adventure!!
Drain me
This book was so good and totally different from other vampire books. As always Lana keeps us on our toes. This book has everything: suspense, mystery and hot sex scenes. It is absolutely amazing!!!
Two very enticing books make up this collection. I am posting a independent, impartial review.
Drain me: (5 Stars)
I really enjoyed this book. In some ways it was just what I expected but in others it was a surprise. The story was intriguing and I found the characters complex. The heroine, Ellie was one of the surprises that I didn’t see coming. I thought she was original but easy to relate to and connect with. Dublin was enticing and compelling. The storyline quickly has you hooked with a powerful and enticing blend of drama, emotions, twists and steam that are all enrobed in a tempting coating of luscious darkness.
Chain Me: (5 Stars)
I found it almost too easy to get swept up into this book and I thought that these characters were just incredibly compelling and complex. The story line is skillfully crafted and entices and bedevils you with an intense combination of powerful emotions, drama, sizzling steam, edge of your seat danger, nail-biting suspense and stunning twists that have all been enrobed in a decadent layer of rich, sinful darkness to form a absolutely delicious book and series that delivers a romance that is beyond epic!
Drain Me – Ellie is a recluse heiress who is told she has a limited time to live due to an illness which is fatal, but that doesn’t seem to bother her. She is happy to go unnoticed and live the rest of her days at home, practically alone except for her bitchy wheelchair bound cat. That does not happen when a mysterious man named Dublin enters her boring life with the promise of adding more time to her days. What ensues is Ellie is introduction into Dublin’s world of ancient Vampires, contracts, and secrets that involve her own family’s past. I love the world that Lana Sky created and especially Dublin. To see him slowly lose his stiff facade in the face of Ellie’s cluster of internal issues is hilarious. Dublin is the big bad Vampire who finds himself babysitting Ellie as she seems to purposely run head on into danger. Love Love Love…can’t wait for Book#2!
Chain Me is an impressive sequel to the Drain Me book written in 2014. Yes I had been waiting patiently for the continuation of Dublin and Eleanor’s journey through vampire contracts, family secrets, terminal illnesses, and the possible future that they could have together. And yes I may have emailed/texted the author a few times about the sequel, needing my Dublin fix.
“I want you, Eleanor Gray…”
And with that statement being said, I absolutely loved Dublin for putting himself out there with Eleanor and taking care of her personal safety since she had no regard for her own well being. Her character could be described as the ‘tragic comic relief’ to Dublin’s high strung, stoic demeanor which cracks when the two are together. In both books we learn of Dublin’s very violent/evil history that he has tried to move on from by resisting the urges to become the monster he once was. Enter Eleanor and the poor vampire just losses his sanity. I do think that in the beginning she had entered into the contract with Dublin so she could ‘have some thrills’ before her time expired. She lived a boring life and had nothing to lose. As for Dublin he had street cred to lose in the big, bad vampire world by being with her and trying to remain distant with his growing feelings towards the spinster. It is stressful at times feeling Dublin’s tenuous hold on Eleanor being threatened as the ‘monsters’ in the vampire world have her on their radar.
It was frustrating (and heartbreaking) at times when Eleanor repeatedly thought that it must be a game or joke for Dublin to want her. She is good at belittling herself since almost everyone around her, family included, had put down her appearance to a point where I can understand why she wanted to be ‘invisible’. She is anything but invisible to Dublin and I think she becomes the center of his existence. As their intimacy continues to grow Dublin becomes the caregiver when she is to sick to care for herself. Without calling it a committed relationship out loud it is evident that both are performing the roles of boyfriend/girlfriend. And I feel like poor, smitten Dublin would find it much harder to walk away from her then for Eleanor to leave him since she’s got her hostile cat Mr. Tinkles to take care of. That cat is a mess!
The Ellie Gray chronicles is a remarkable, emotional love story that I hope Lana Sky will continue. I have fallen in love with Dublin and Eleanor’s characters and the human/vampire world that they inhabit and I am greedy enough to ask for more please! Thank you Lana for making my year by releasing this satisfying sequel!
Drain Me
Lana Sky is one of my all time favourite authors, i have enjoyed all of her other books immensely but Drain Me is my all time favourite novel by her.
Its the first novel i ever read by Lana and i absolutely love every bit of it, the world building is done masterfully and the main characters are very unusual and you would think wouldnt match together but in all scenes they are together the result were amazing.
My favourite charchter was Ellie, i just i loved her so much, she was so contradicting and un excepted that i never knew what she might do or say next.
This books is filled with twists and nothing happened the way I expected it to and the ending left me wanting more.
Chain Me
Chain Me is the 2nd installment of The Ellie Gray Chronicles series, its a book that i have been waiting for for over 3 years, ever since i first read (Drain Me) the first installment in the series.
I was so excited to get my hands on it and to finally find out what happens next to two of the best written characters that i had ever read about, and i am so happy because this sequal delivered, it had everything that i hoped for and more.
As per usual Lana’s writing style is addictive, smart and full of twists and turns that just sucks you in and keeps suprising you with every flick of the page, the character development for Ellie and Dublin was done perfetly and i loved all of their interactions with each other and how they grew and changed so much, i also loved all the other charchters involved especially Yulia and Raphael and was intreaged by them and wanted to learn more about them as well.
Also The ending of the book was perfect and soo worth all the wait.
POWERFUL INTOXICATING & DEMANDING Series!
….Drain Me…5 Stars
OH MY EVER LOVIN YES!
It’s so on. It’s wild, wicked hot and so unexpected that it quickly had me entranced from one intense page to next as the twisted suspense sent a frantic pace to get to the end while leaving me with an unquenchable thirst for more. A wild ride of twists, edgy hot chemistry with an I unstoppable storyline that brings out an explosive of emotions.
…Chain Me…5 Stars
DRAINed – CHAINed & SINfully BEAUTIFUL!
The emotions that plague me throughout this beautifully written read was intoxicating and draining. The drama and nerve rattling twists had my heart pounding with raw gritty eyes from being glued to my kindle with an insatiable need to fill a void deep within my romantic heart and dreamy mind. It’s so darn edgy and twisted with raw breath taking emotions that made me feel lonely, happy and searing pain infused with hunger, betrayal, angst, danger and passion that after all had been read I didn’t quite know how to feel. I wanted to be happy but then a sadness clouded my heart leaving me sulking wanting more. I love this series and wouldn’t change a word but my begging romantic heart just can’t let Ellie & Dublin go. So fingers crossed maybe an Epilogue of sorts will be in the works to help calm the sad yet satisfying ending Chain Me left me with. It’s dark hot and sinfully twisted that was impossible to put down.
Drain Me – Ellie is an heiress who is running out of time because of a fatal illness. Dublin enters her sheltered life who plans to show her a new world. This is a fast-paced read with loads of twists and turns, drama and secrets. The chemistry between Ellie and Dublin is steamy and the story draws you in from beginning to end. I really liked it and look forward to more.
Chain Me – This is the second book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order. Ellie and Dublin’s story continues with loads of drama and plenty of twists and turns that keep you hooked from beginning to end. The characters have lots of layers and secrets keep being revealed. So much intensity, drama, suspense and steam. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it.
