You know at first I kind of wrote of Keaton’s story because I’m so desperate for Tinsley’s! But boy was this book worth the read.
Keaton was so much more than meets the eye. He has such a big heart, he’s not just the charming man whore he you think he is from past books. I also love love that Sage has become the “mom” of the group.
Morgan was great, I liked that even though she let her dream from childhood go, she formed a new dream that made her even happier.
These two together, I loved that they were best friends first. Also their chemistry was fire!
I received an arc of this book in return for an honest review.
A look at how words can hurt. Peer pressure making some awful statements that are over heard. Now instead of a confrontation makes Morgan run, leaving without any explanation. The one thing that Keaton fears is abandonment, and when Morgan leaves him he is more than heartbroken, he feels betrayed.
Now Morgan is back and he doesn’t know how to handle it. This is a classic tale of how two hearts can break if you don’t talk to one another. This is a beautiful story of young love and the complication of it all. It is wonderful to relive that feeling of despair and then joy when it all comes together. Keaton and Morgan are a perfect representation of young LOVE
I love this series and can not wait to read the next installment!
Well Keaton is amazing that is for sure.
This is a friends turned enemies back to friends to lovers (but really always meant to be) story. Well Keaton is amazing that is for sure.
This is a friends turned enemies back to friends to lovers (but really always meant to be) story.
Keaton and Morgan were closer than can be until Morgan was offered a place in a prestigious dance school their freshman year. After hearing something that changed her opinion on Keaton she took off without saying goodbye. Now three years later she is back at Brighton Academy a lot broken. Now she has to face what she ran from 3 years ago: Keaton.
Keaton doesn’t understand why Morgan just left and feels abandoned by yet another person he loved. Trouble is as much as he wants to hate Morgan he can’t.
Their attraction is obvious and it quickly becomes apparent they were always meant to be together and they have each been missing each other desperately. Now they are ready to fill the hole that has been there since Morgan left.
I am super excited for Tinsley’s story!
** I was generously provided with an advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for my fair and honest review **
This is the 3rd book in this amazing series and is Morgan and Keaton’s story. These two are best friends until something happens which separate them, and now that Morgan starts at the Academy, they are sworn enemies. Can these two have a 2nd chance at love? This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster throughout, as well as having heartbreak and love which all lead to a sweet story which had me hooked throughout. I recommend for all.
We return to Brighton Academy to the family who chose each other.
Book one Unbidden was all about Reed and Sage.
Book two Unpredictable shined the spotlight on Sterling and Victoria.
Now we have book three in this fantastic series, and here we have an up close and personal encounter with Keaton and Morgan.
She’s the girl that simply vanished in the night, that left them behind and broke her best friends heart in the process.
He’s the guy who felt more than he should for the girl who was his ride or die, the guy who never knew why she left.
Now she’s back but is she ready to face everything she left behind..?
This is a story about letting your heart rule, realising who your one true love is and letting go of the past.
It’s beautiful and poignant, whilst heartbreaking and devastating at the same time.
It’s not overly complicated or dramatic, it’s quite the smooth read and I appreciated it more for that.
There’s flashes of angst and drama, and it’s enough. Its perfect for this, for them.
I adored both characters, and loved every second of this book!
This series has me completely hooked and I can’t wait for Finley and Tinsleys book!
At one point and time Keaton Yates meant everything to her, he was her best friend, the person she told everything to, he was her whole world. Then one day he did something unforgivable, and he broke her heart in two. So she did what any broken-hearted girl would do, and ran as far away from him as she could.
Now a couple years have passed and Morgan has returned home to Brighton, and re-enrolled in the Academy, and put herself front and center into the life of the boy who broke her heart. Seeing Keaton again was almost more than she could bare, he carries his anger for her on his sleeve, and has made mention many times that she no longer belongs there. But she is determined to not let him break her again, she maybe still carrying all her old wounds, but they have made her a stronger and more determined woman who will not fall into his trap. Or will she?
Undeniably brings us into the lives of former best friends, now sworn enemies Keaton and Morgan. These two were once on the fast track to being the perfect couple, but Keaton was trying to impress the wrong people and did something stupid that drove a huge wedge between them. So Morgan chose to leave town and attend a dance school that kept her far away from him and all the hurtful memories Brighton Academy held. Now a few years later she has decided to come home full well knowing things could be quite intense, there is a lot of hatred brewing between these two, but their hearts are putting up a fight too. Watching these two try to avoid one another was quite entertaining, it was evident they still had feelings for one another, but they were also determined to fight them, so there was a lot of push and pull between them. Which kept tensions high for a bit, and me dying of anticipation. I really enjoyed this pairing, they brought heat, humor, drama, and intensity to the pages and their story kept my eyes glued to the pages from start to finish! If you dramatic little page-turners than I highly suggest you check this series out, it’s characters are bound to not only steal your heart, but your full attention too!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
Keaton Yates is coming for your hearts. Forget Reed and Sterling, Keaton will leave you loving only him. The fun, man-whoring brother is so much more than what meets the eye.
Keaton is an unexpected surprise. I didn’t at all except the sweet, heartbroken guy I got. Morgan is the girl who ran away when her world was shattered. When they both have their world’s rocked and come face to face for the first time in years, old feelings of love, and pain resurface. Each try to deny their feelings, but Keaton Yates and Morgan Wright are undeniably made for each other. Keaton and Morgan have this natural pull towards each other get their chance at happy. I love the new addition of Morgan into the BA folds, she is Keaton’s perfect match. Her broken pieces fit Keaton’s broken pieces, and together they are whole.
Undeniably had several moments that left me feeling so heartbroken for these two, when Keaton’s dad told him he wouldn’t be at his graduation, and when Morgan and her mom are talking and I could feel the pain rolling off of her mother and her. Morgan’s mother loved her so much she couldn’t bare the pain she saw in her when everything happen years ago so she let her run. And for Keaton it was the struggle he went through having the last name Yates.
Can I just say how much I love the character growth of all of these characters. From Unbidden to Undeniably they have all just become so much more. And then there is Sage, without her Keaton, Tinsley and even Reed would not be the people they are now.
Cala Riley delivers a sweet, emotional story of two ex best friends who get their second chance after years apart. Undeniably is a pleasant surprise filled with swoony, sweet, emotional moments. Cala Riley gave us the perfect second chance romance while also gives us the perfect lead way to the book we’ve all been dying for, Finley and Tinsley. Undeniably is a 5 star must read.
I am having a hard time writing this review because I want to tell you so much. That is how GOOD this book is. Cala really came with her A game on this one. I loved Morgan and Keaton. Morgan is coming back after being gone for a while. When Keaton sees her he is furious because all the old feelings come back to him but he is determined to stay away from her. Only you can’t tell the heart what to do and it wants her.
The way this story unfolded was amazing and I know you the reader will love it. SO go on out and one click this series and go on a roller coaster ride with each new character.
I always wanted Keaton’s story and now I have it and loved it. Morgan was destroyed by the one person she trusted over anyone else and left without a goodbye, now she is back and Keaton is determined to not let her in again. I loved the story of Keaton and Morgan. Their back story was painful but necessary. They had both grown and their story now was worth the wait. Can’t wait for the next book.
Cala Riley keeps delivering amazing books in this must read bully romance series.
The Brighton Academy series will keep you on your toes, break your heart and have you rooting for even the biggest alpha holes.
Keaton broke my heart in this book. That dude hides behind his mask, making sure they people don’t see the real him.
A friends-enemies- lovers book that will keep you flipping the pages and begging for more.
Another brilliant read by one of my favorite authors- Cala Riley. From the moment I started the Brighton academy series , I absolutely adored Keaton. He is sweet enough for anyone to love. This was the third book of the series and was of the youngest of the three siblings.
Our beloved Keaton finally reconnects with his long lost love- Morgan. The things in the starting were tense between them, but later they smoothed out. I won’t give away too much spoilers because this book is a must read for all!!!
I absolutely loved the way sage held the family together. The way she cared for the whole family was just so sweet and nice.
Morgan- the main character of the book , was at times a bit immature for me. I mean I understood her actions but sometimes she just seemed unreasonable. But in the end, I guess all of Keaton’s cuteness (I really couldn’t find a more appropriate word!!) made the book even more enjoyable!!
This book is recommended to all the slow-burn, second-chance romance lovers!!
