Two aliens want me.
As a curvy girl who’s not used to being the center of attention, you’d think I’d be flattered. But you’d be wrong. The problem is, I don’t have a choice in who I end up with.
One of the males is bold and brash while the other is quiet and fierce. Both are huge, strong, and don’t seem to understand the word no.
And one of them has me wanting to say yes.
Will standing up for … one of them has me wanting to say yes.
Will standing up for what I believe cause me to lose everything I’ve ever wanted, or does love truly conquer all?

I had a great time and was highly entertaining with each turn of the pages from each book. The characters are strong and well developed and engaging. With storylines that flowed smoothly from beginning to the end. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

This book 1 in the Warrior Clans of Maekon Series is a very well-written story with well crafted characters. H These wonderfully written characters, flaws and all, will make you feel their emotions and you will root for them to make the connection. They have wonderful chemistry. I cannot wait to read more. he and her family are abducted by aliens to be slaves, when an illness threatens the whole crew, they are dumped on a different planet and left on their own. Barbarians rescue them only to have a group of men request to fight for mating rights to her, which the leader allowed! She did not wish to be owned by anyone, but she has not choice.

This is the first book in a new series and it’s Brandy’s and Drohlu. She and her family are abducted by aliens to be slaves, when an illness threatens the whole crew, they are dumped on a different planet and left on their own, or so they thought. There are challenges, dramas, and lots of passion between Brandy and Drohlu. I loved this story line and all the engaging characters.

Brandy is kidnapped by aliens then dumped on the planet Maekon an found by the Drohlu.
In the middle of the night Brandy, her aunt and cousins are kidnapped from their home by aliens and taken off world as slaves. As they huddle scared and shivering more batches of females are brought in one group of which obviously has the flu. Later the captain returns and wants to throw them into space as the flu is killing his crew but his son suggest dropping them on the nearby planet of Maekon. They are crammed into pods and launch at the planet but as they scrambled out of the pod they were captured by two different bands of warriors and carried off. Brandy was taken by Kkor to the Drohlu village where she will be given to the warrior who wins the fight for her.

The writing and editing of this novel was fairly clean, with only occasional typos that I found in the ARC version of this manuscript. The world building was pretty minimal, with me the reader not getting a good mental picture of the landscapes of this alien world. The characterization was somewhat flat, with me not getting a good feel for the hero or the heroine as complex people. The development of the romantic relationship was somewhat marred for me because I found the culture and values of this tribe more than a little repulsive. Many people in the tribe behaved like scuzzy sexual predators toward the heroine and made it clear that her consent to sexual activity or even marriage was not something they valued. Also, their superstitions were gross, with the fact that they punished her for performing CPR on someone and they treated another of the human women like a pariah because she had red hair and so she was “bad luck”. It is a very abusive, predatory culture. The fact that the heroine wanted to live in this gross culture with these gross people was, frankly, baffling to this reader. The plot and pacing was okay, though I really struggled to finish this novel. There was low angst and high stakes, which I typically enjoy in romance novels, but did not in this case. This novel used the Barbarian Hero trope common in sci-fi romances. The world building, plot, and pacing was three stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship was two stars. The tribe and it’s values and culture rated one star. The combined score for this novel was therefore two stars for this reader. This novel ends on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a plus to this novel. I do not recommend this novel to fans of alien sci-fi romances. There are many better ones out there. I do not plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this novel.

I grabbed this story because it sounded really good. This book is as good as it sounds like. Well worth the time to read. I love Sci-Fi and this full my expectations. It was a page turning and very exciting. Who wouldn’t want two huge, hunky, sexy alien males wanting just you. Read and find out if they both get the h or if only one wins! My first read from this author. I’ll get getting more of her books. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
With her house being exterminated because of an ant problem, Brandy accepted Aunt Rose’s offer to stay with her and her cousins. But she can’t sleep well in a strange house, and she forgot the fan she uses for background noise. She was going to go downstairs for some water when she again heard a sort of dragging noise. As she turns for her phone, the door bursts open and 8-foot tall scaly lizards rush in! One of them sniffs her, licks her neck, and bites her! Then they are all dragged away.
The women are shoved into unsanitary filthy cages under poor conditions, rarely fed, cold, and packed in together. One group included a sick woman with the flu. Half the other women ended up sick too. And surprisingly, their alien captors got sick and started dying! The Captain brought in their doctor to check those who were not sick. The doctor recommended getting rid of all of them and starting over, but the Captain’s son, Arderz, spoke up against it. So the Captain agreed to dump them off on Maekon rather than kill all of them. Would this change in location be for better or worse?
Shoved into a tight pod that closed into total darkness, the 6 women are squeezed together. One with claustrophobia screams and shrieks wildly. They have no idea where they are going until they crash and the pod rolls and finally opens. Relieved to be on the ground, their relief doesn’t last for long. A thundering sound proves to be primitive men with swords and riding on top of some kind of huge beast heading right for them! And one of the barbarians, with blood-tipped horns on his head, swoops down and grabs Brandy, throwing her in front of him on the running beast. Brandy was separated from the other women because Kkor was from Clan Drohlu, while the others were captured by the less civilized Hakdivi. Brandy wanted them to go after the others, but the leader Mhaxina said no. Even worse, a group of men requested to fight for mating rights to Brandy, which of course the leader allowed! She did not wish to be owned by anyone, but her wishes did not matter. Who would win her? And how would she escape to rescue the other women from the Hakdivi?
Aside from the two friendly women Brandy met on the pod, her own family had treated her like the maid when she was growing up, and Natalie was absolutely rude, ignorant, and hateful to her. So why Brandy felt compelled to save them is a surprise. Will she be successful? And by the time she can get to them, will they want to leave? Will they have survived? Grab this exciting book and see how their futures are set out on this barbarian planet!
I enjoyed reading this book , it is filled with action, adventure, and intrigue. The interaction and chemistry between the characters of Brandy and Kaleon is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
