True Love at its finest!! Lana~White Hot Reads
Dirk and Merit fought their way back to each other the only way they knew how. At times I wanted to punch Dirk for pushing Merit away and be like you dumb guy. In the end, true love always wins…
AHHH Kelly has done it again! I will never ever ever get tired of reading anything she writes. I absolutely loved Strong Enough, the final book in the Meet Me in Montana series. First of all I love that she has set these books in Hamilton, Montana. I go there every year to visit family so I can really picture all these characters perfectly. Merit was such a sweetie and so tired of getting her heartbroken and being second choice. I lost count on how many times I wanted to slap Dirk on the back of the head. Glad everything got figured out in the end because for a while I couldn’t see anything working out between these two. Another 5-Star Read!
There has never been a character in a book I’ve wanted to throat punch more than Dirk. The emotions this book pulled out of me was unbelievable, I felt them all. Merit is one of the strongest women ever, the strength it took to keep going forward in a small town after all the BS Dirk has said and out her through is truly amazing. These two have some serious feelings to figure out, they each have some issues to deal with. Fantastic read in this series, I have loved each and every one of them!
Strong Enough is the fourth book in the Meet Me in Montana series by Kelly Elliott. And OMG if you love the previous books you will love even more this one!! Kelly wrote an amazing story that makes the perfect ending for this amazing series.
This is the story of Dirk the bestfriend of Brock and we have seen him as a part of the Shaw family. In my case I was waiting for his story since I met him and OMG it was everything and more that i was expecting.
We finally know who is the truly woman that Dirk let go, because he was unsure and scared about his feelings, so thats why Merit who used to be his bestfriend since childhood hates him so much, because he broke her heart when they were young.
But now that Merit is back in town feelings can´t be denied but things won’t be easy for them, because they have to overcome a lot of things but the most important is that they need to get the past in the past and start leaving in the present so they can find their HEA.
Dirk will have a very difficult family moment where Merit and all the Shaw’s family support will be so important for him, that he will have to take some decision about his future and that maybe is time to stay in town like the Shaw’s brothers.
You will also find out about the characters from the previous books, and what is happening with them.
For me Kelly Elliott is my queen for cowboy romance and small town, she always writes amazing stories.
5 star reviews Strong Enough (Meet Me in Montana #4) by Kelly Elliott
I freely admit that when I see a book written by Kelly Elliot I read it. There is something about her style of writing, her strong yet vulnerable characters, that really resonates with me.
I love stories based in small towns and have enjoyed every book in the Meet me In Montana series. I have been eagerly anticipating Dirk’s story but starting this book was bittersweet as I knew that this is the last book in the series.
As with the previous books, I quickly became invested in Dirk and Merit’s story. What an emotional roller coaster of a read Strong Enough was. From the first to the last chapter I was totally engrossed in the story that Ms. Elliott wove; I laughed and I cried.
This was a beautifully written story full of love, forgiveness and hope. It was passionate, swoon worthy and I loved catching up with the other couples.
Finally Dirk’s story!! While I am sad to see the end of the Meet Me in Montana Series, I was so excited to read Dirk and Merit’s story. Filled with intense emotion Dirk realizes that everything he has ever worked for means nothing when the woman who makes him feel complete wants nothing to do with him. Finding his way back into her heart and into her life will be the hardest thing he will need to do. Each chapter was more intense than the ones that came before it and I could not put it down. Kelly Elliott always writes beautiful storylines that are filled with wonderful characters, but it is her grasp of what makes falling in love and finding your soulmate such an emotional journey for her readers that makes a series like this into masterpieces. If anything should be made into a movie it is this series.
An incredibly bittersweet finish for the Meet Me in Montana series! Dirk and Merit’s emotional journey was one I felt deep within my bones. My favorite of the series, this story made me feel breathtaking pain and unforgettable joy all wrapped up in book I never wanted to end. Five stars for an amazing ride with the Shaw family and their friends.
First off let me just say that I loved Dirk & Merit. Even if I wanted to junk punch Dirk for like 3/4 of this book. He definitely made up for it in the end though. Kelly’s sexy cowboys always come through.
God these two reminded me so much of Ari & Jeff from the Wanted series. It’s one of my favourite series & this book made me want to do a reread for sure.
I love the name Merit too. Merit was 10x more forgiving then I could ever be. Dirk put her through the wringer & so did her family. She was so strong, extremely forgiving & she loved with all her heart. I knew Dirk would be one of my favourites in this series after seeing him in past books & he didn’t disappoint. He had so much thrown at him in such a short amount of time. But god that guy couldn’t communicate to save his life & didn’t know how to prioritize the important things. I honestly don’t know if I would have been able to forgive him. But I’m so happy that Merit did.
I loved their ending a though. It was perfect & everything I love about Kelly’s writing. If you liked the other books in this series than you will love this final book. I’m going to miss these Montana cowboys but I know I’ll be rereading this series again.
I received an ARC of Strong Enough by Kelly Elliott as a member of her review team for an honest review. All I can honestly say is WOW! I absolutely loved Strong Enough, it is the fourth and final book in the Meet Me in Montana series! I can truly say, that Strong Enough is an incredible love story, that is filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions and I could not put it down. I loved every moment on every page. Strong Enough was a bittersweet book for me knowing that it is the fourth and final book in the Meet Me in Montana series. Each book in the series keeps getting better and better and I have loved each book, but I truly believe that Strong Enough is my favorite book in the series. Kelly Elliot has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love all the characters in Strong Enough, they feel like family! Who doesn’t love hot sexy cowboys, strong, passionate females, and big loving families, who always support one another? Kelly Elliott continues to deliver all that and so much more. One of my favorite parts is how the title of the book is incorporated into the love story, with a simple quote from Dirk. Once again Kelly Elliott has given her readers another amazing book. Strong Enough is filled with all the heartbreaking and heartwarming moments and surprise plot twists, that I have come to love and expect in a Kelly Elliott love story, I especially loved the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. She has once again proven that she is an incredible story teller. I love that she writes her stories in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. Strong Enough is a story about getting a second chance at first love. I love the lighter moments where I found myself smiling and laughing. My favorite moments are the ones that cause me to sigh, say aww to myself with tears filling my eyes. Strong Enough is filled with such moments, make sure you have a box of Kleenex nearby. Strong Enough is about childhood best friends, neighbors, and secret first loves, Merit Eden and Dirk Littlewood. Merit returns to Hamilton, Montana eleven years after leaving for college and a career in New York City to save her family’s farm. She has not returned to Hamilton since leaving for college. Merit ran away from Dirk, her first love following a disastrous first sexual experience for her. Dirk heads out on the Professional Bull Riding tour and becomes a womanizer, as his own way of running away from what he did to Merit. Dirk had feelings for Merit, but did not want to lose his best friend if something happened between the two of them and it did not work out. Dirk and Merit run into each other at Stella and Ty Sr. Shaw’s New Year’s Eve Party and then again at street dance, when Dirk asks Merit to dance with him. Things change between the two of them, until Merit overhears Dirk tell Brock that he does not want or need a relationship with her. I love when both Dirk and Merit get real with their true feelings for one another and open up to each other in the emotionally charged, gut wrenching dialogue that transpires between the two of them. Strong Enough was such a bittersweet story, but I am so glad that Dirk finally got his woman and his happily ever after that he so deserved. Kelly Elliott truly delivered a book that was so worthy of Dirk. I love all the changes that Dirk was willing to make in his life. I love all her characters in the book, and I love the descriptions of the setting in Hamilton, Montana and Dirk and Merit’s wedding location. My favorite part of this series are the epilogues, I truly love how they go above and beyond the happily ever afters. I love that this epilogue takes place five years later, so that the reader gets to see how Merit and Dirk’s lives have changed. I love the meaning behind the names that Dirk and Merit pick for their children. I also loved catching up the characters from the other books in the series, especially Blayze who always put a smile on my face, it felt like being at a Shaw family reunion and catching up with old friends, especially all the new little babies. Strong Enough is an incredibly written love story and I loved every moment, and I am so sad that it was the last book the Meet Me in Montana series. Highly recommend this beautifully written story.
Strong Enough is a phenomenal read. I loved every moment of Dirk and Merit. You will laugh and you will need a box of tissues and maybe a glass of wine at times. It is sweet and fills your heart to the top. Merit and Dirk have been friends forever. You will have a lot of missteps when it comes to these two but once they break through everything just hold on tight. Dirk is a rodeo star always running away from his feelings. Merit is take charge cookie who steps in and helps her family. I love Dirk and Merit so much. Strong Enough is everything you want and more for the final book in the Meet Me in Montana series. This series is one to read for all those feel good cowboy moments you need. I have to say Dirk and Merit are one of my most favorite couples in this series. I couldn’t put this one down and didn’t want to. Pass me the tissues as I enter the day with a book hangover that is worth it.
Strong Enough by Kelly Elliott is in one word, WOW after finishing this book. Have to say it was a great way to start 2021 and seeing these two finally at a point where it all comes together was beautiful. Seeing not just Dirk and Merit but the whole gang and the girls was bittersweet in a way like coming home. These two have been through so much yet in a way haven’t really moved on from each other. Seeing Dirk in a place where he is feeling well at a crossroads in his life makes us see in a way what Brock went through yet much deeper with Dirk. Then we have Merit coming home not just to find herself but saving her family in a way she never imagined coming home like. Not only is she is a mess and her family so to speak she is afraid of the feelings coming back of Dirk and what to do with those feelings. Kelly Elliott sure has a way making things hard between these two yet teaching them that it is time to face their past. Seeing Dirk being out of his element, womanizing and drinking is an eye opener even to him. Bullriding has been his only thing and boy having Merit back in his life is sure making him see what really has been missing from his life. Not only do we see the past come to life but seeing what everybody has been up to was definitely like coming home in every way. These two were definitely a favorite of mine and boy Kelly Elliott sure saved the best for last, loved it.
