Ari’s Adventure by Elle Sweet is a small town romance with wonderful characters. Ari has just lost her job and now she finds out that her husband of 28 years has been having an affair and he wants a divorce. She is devastated and a friend offers her the use of a cottage in a small resort town. Ari feels that she needs to regroup and get her life back together. Little does she imagine that this will be the best move of her life. The friendships and closeness of the small town residents is just what Ari needs.
This is a sweet, feel good story that will warm your heart. I recommend this wonderful story.

I enjoyed book one in the series, and was looking forward to going back to Moonshire Bay .
This time the story centers around Ari Evans and Jack Callahan.
Ari never expected that life as she knew it would change in one day. Not only was she laid off from her job, but her husband of almost 30 years is having an affair. How did this happen? She felt there was no way to mend the marriage, and since her children wouldn’t be home for the summer, she decided to spend time in Moonshire Bay. The home of longtime friends. They too are going through a crisis, but invite her to stay in their cottage.
Jack Callahan has been in town for only a few months. He’s the currently the local handyman. He too has been betrayed and holds his past close to his chest.
The first time Jack and Ari meet wasn’t very pleasant, though the attraction was evident. As they get to know each other , feelings develop but secrets are kept.
Can either of them trust the other? Can they trust their feelings? Will they have a second chance in love and life or will this all be only but a memory?
One of the things I enjoyed most in the story , was that these two individuals were matured and had lived the ups and downs of life.
This is a clean, touching romance that will leave you wanting for more.
I am looking forward to reading other books in this series and by this author.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
This was again a fairly quick read from this author, although much more in depth than the previous book, Finding Rachel. The character development good and the storyline fairly strong. The only strange thing to me as a reader was that the lead characters went from getting to know and liking each other, to announcing their love in one quick move. Overall a very nice read and I’ll be looking forward to this author’s next offering.

This book was perfect for this difficult time in America. It was a story about two people who had been disillusioned about their marriages and both shocked to find that their spouses had cheated and wanted out of their marriages. Both escaped to small town America. They found each other and fell in love with one another, and the sweet little town.
I really enjoyed reading this well written story.
I was lucky enough to get to read a beta copy of this book. I loved this book. I so wanted deck Ari’s husband. What a jerk! This book will have you cheering, fuming, plotting, longing, and wishing. Once I started reading, I had to keep going so that I could find out what was going to take place next. Ari goes from having a good job and good marriage to being downsized and learning her marriage isn’t as good as she thought. Ari decides to take up her friend’s offer to stay at their house in this quaint little town in order to figure out what she wants to do next. Where does she want to live and does she really want to stay an accountant? When she arrives at the house, Ari discovers that there is water standing in the basement. Enter the local handyman who turns out to have issues of his own that he is trying to overcome. Neither can deny the attraction between them, but will their individual issues stop them from finding a HEA together. I am sure that you will enjoy reading this book to find out.
