Secrets…Lies…and Betrayal.
It’s been far too long since I’ve laid eyes on Abby.
I expected surprise.
I expected anger.
What I got was devastation.
Abby’s been lying to me, keeping secrets that affect us all.
Our past…? It’s complicated.
An elusive truth with the power to alter everything I know, everything I want, and everything I love.
But things aren’t always what they seem.
And betrayal…it … seem.
And betrayal…it never comes from the person you expect.

Everything We Left Unsaid is book two in the Wild Hearts series. You should read book one (Something That Could Last) first. I loved Jacob and Abby’s story in the first one but I was surprised by the ending. This so picks up a bit after the last one. Jacob comes back to town and seeks Abby out. Things have changed for Abby and she’s not excited to see him. Jacob is a little lost at first and both have confusion about what happened after he left the first time. Sometimes things were frustrating between them but their connection was still there. This one is a heart-string puller. I was hoping they would get everything together in this one but then the ending surprised me again. I am so hoping that there is a book three is the works.
This is a wonderful continuation of Abby & Jacob’s story. This second chance romance is full of hope… it sent my heart on a roller coaster ride filled with all the highs and lows that its well crafted, compelling blend of heart, drama, humor, sweetness, heat and poignancy can deliver.
Everything We Left Unsaid is book 2 in the series. I enjoyed reading about Abby and Jacob again. The turmoil they go through had me on the edge of my seat, being up all night reading to find out what would happen next. I can’t wait for the next book to see how this all ends.
I really enjoyed reading Everything We Left Unsaid. This story picks up after 2years. This is Abby and Jacobs second chance at love, but there are lies that they will have to get over to be HEA. Wasn’t very happy that the story ended that way. It means she will have a third book, can’t wait for the conclusion. Recommend this book
Everything We Left Unsaid by Ashley Cade is book Two in the Wild Hearts Series. This continues the story of Abby and Jacob, so you really should read the previous book ‘Something That Could Last’ first before starting this one. This is their second chance at love when something that pulled them apart is no longer there once they clear the air. Enjoyed their story.
This was a nice second chance romance although a little slow moving. I won this book and thought I would be ok without reading book 1 but maybe I was wrong. I think I might have been more into the story if I had. I enjoyed the characters and there was no ridiculous drama. I didn’t like the ending, but I discovered there will be a third book coming in the future, so that explains a lot. The story definitely pulls at your heart strings and is full of family, love, loyalty, honestly, truths, has some steam and much more.
5 STARS
I loved everything about this second chance romance. The conclusion to Abby and Jacob’s story is filled with an unexpected reunion and secrets are revealed. Everything We Left Unsaid by Ashley Cade is an EPIC read and will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!
So, I read this book called Something That Could Last. Oh my god, I threw my Kindle when I reached the end, because hello, I needed more! I stalked the author….err, followed…yea followed…..on Instagram and shamelessy tortured myself reading all her teasers for EWLU. When I got my copy,I dived right into it. I turned page after page, reading through this book in a day. Getting back to Abby and Jacob’s story was like coming home after years away. Continuing with Abby and Jacob’s story really left me emotional when I reached the end. Every bit of pain, every bit of love, every bit of curiousity and confusion that they felt, I felt. That is exactly what I love in a romance novel! When I feel ALL THE FEELS, like I did here, that is a perfectly written, heart gripping, mind blowing keeper in my books! I can’t wait for the next one! I need more like last week! Fantastically done, Cade, fantastically done!
*I received a complimentary copy of this book from Author/Publisher and was under no obligation to post a review, positive or negative.*
Ashley Cade
I love me some Second Chance Romance. Cade did a great job a bit on the predictable side but still a great job. With all the books out there it’s going to be hard to be original every single time. I don’t want to give away a lot of details but just know it”s worth the read. From the beginning, you will be asking if Abby and Jacob can mend past mistakes. Great question. Now go read and find out for yourself.

Okay, so I’m sure you all have seen me rant and rave about the book Something That Could Last by Ashley Cade, then it’ll come as no surprise to you that I absolutely adored this book. Following one heck of a cliffhanger in book one, book two gives so much closure for Jacob and Abby.
This book had me feeling every possible emotion. I was thrilled, angry, sad, confused, happy again. It was a freaking emotional roller coaster. Not to mention Ashley Cade did a phenomenal job writing Abby and Jacob’s story.
I honestly just don’t have the words to explain how much I loved this book, but I will tell you this. I started this book at work on release day and was able to read 50% through. I did NOT want to put it down.
I cannot wait for book 3 in this series. If it is half as good as books one and two, then it will be amazing!
Great job Ashley Cade, you did an incredible job as usual! I can’t wait to see what other amazing stories you’ll come out with!

The second book in the Wild Hearts series by Ashley Cade is the beautiful conclusion to the love story of Abby and Jacob, the end of the first book left us wanting more and with so many questions, Abby needed to get in touch with Jacob, but he left to Africa so sudden that there was no way he could tell Abby about his departure.
In six weeks, everything changed and the two souls that thought belonged together, were separated by so many things, lies, hidden truths, misunderstandings and betrayals from people they could not even begin to imagine.
After more than two years apart, Jacob can’t let Abby go, so he returns to her, only to be surprised by so many things he thought belonged to him, but Abby wants nothing to do with him, there’s no way she can let him back into her life and into her heart without shattering all over again.
Ashley Cade writes the sweetest stories, with characters that have so many differences, yet when you read about them it makes sense for them to belong to each other. I really enjoyed this book, if you want some romance with a lot of sexy scenes, well this is for you!!
The second book in the Wild Hearts series and let me tell you…it did NOT disappoint!
Abby and Jacobs whirlwind love happened faster then either of them could imagine! Love happens when you least expect it, and sometimes life throws you a curve ball right in between!
One would think the story picks up where they left off, but the title explains it ALL! Things were left unsaid, challenges were faced and lemons were thrown!
The ending was PERFECT because it sets us up for the next installment (I’m more than positive there will be more)! I’m not gonna lie to you, I just KNEW this book was going to be all about Tiff and what happened between her and Luke but I was soooooo wrong (oh but I have a strong feeling she will definitely get her own story)!
If you haven’t yet you definitely need to pick up BOTH books and get ready to fall in love, cry, scream, kick, cuss, and hold on to your seats because it is one heck of a ride!
Ashley Cade did an AMAZING job
Abby and Jacob had what could be considered a summer fling, but with all of the feelings that made them want more. When Jacob is called for an important internship that he can’t turn down if he wants his career, he is desperate to call Abby but can’t find his phone. When he finally gets back into the country and calls her, she tells him that she never wants to hear from him again and promptly changes her phone number. He’s confused and angry, but moves on with his life. A few years later, he stops by to see Abby and finds a surprise waiting for him. It turns out that someone had his phone before and was textIng as him, ultimately ending their relationship before it could really start. Abby finally listens and realizes that he’s telling the truth, but what are they going to do about the person who used his phone to lie to her?
Loved this book!

What a very emotional pull at your heart strings story second chance romance! Loved it alot. Kept my interest throughout.
“It is true. I should’ve told you.” Of everything we left unsaid, that’s the part I regret the most.”
“Abby, I will miss you every day we are apart. I’ll think of you my every waking moment. I’ll dream of holding you and Chloe in my arms every night. Until we meet again, Love, Jacob”
“He weakened my defenses, making me believe in love and happily ever after. And then he broke me.” ~ Abby
This book pulls on your heartstrings. I kept pulling for Abby and Jacob throughout the whole book. I did have a feeling who tried to keep them apart. Love how the book is written that seems you are watching it in real life.
Make sure you read Something that Could Last before this one to get Abby and Jacob’s back story.
Wow! I absolutely love this book!! This was everything I wanted it to be! The conclusion to Jacob and Abby’s story was amazing! I love a great second chance story! From beginning to end this story is a huge FIVE STAR read!
Emotions got the best of me! I have to say I love books like these and Ashley Cade sure knows how to grab you by the heartstrings. I honestly want to hate his parents, but how can you. There life has always been sunshine and rose masked by tea parties and elections. But this story helps you understand heartbreak on a whole different level.
Chloe is a dream and kept me in stitches. The relationships in this book are complex and complicated but they work. And the storyline just adds more to it. I honestly didn’t want it to end.
Now let talk about that ending, is that really it. It almost felt like a cliffhanger. We will discuss it and we did! Hello? Can I get an epilogue or something here. I want a future, a HEA! It alludes to something but really…..I wanted more.
Finally the conclusion we’ve been waiting for!!! I needed for Abby and Jacob to straighten out their mess. Fast forward two years and Jacob returns and of course is met with a surprise. Abby on the other hand hates him and he has no idea why. Poor Jacob had no idea how to gain her forgiveness. It was slow but they eventually got there. This book was going really well until secrets were revealed and boy did things hit the roof. I must admit I disliked the ending and I think it’s still missing more from these two. Everything was going well until the epilogue That didn’t feel like one. Other than that Jacob love for Abby was something fierce and he’s an amazing guy and Abby is an amazing heroine too that doesn’t take insults from anyone. She was very strong and I loved it. Jacob showed her that he’s there for her for everything even for her family.
