The PTA is a tough scene for single mom Mal. Spending most of her time devoted to building her baking business doesn’t earn her much respect from the super rich parents at her daughter’s elite prep school. However, a tasty new teacher, Quinn, provides the perfect, sweet distraction.
When English teacher Quinn needs a favor for his class, the intriguing bake sale maven steps in to help. Once he … Once he has a taste of her delicious treats, he can’t get enough.
This sugary little confection is a quick, hot stand-alone story from the Greenbridge Academy series. It can be read alone, even if you haven’t had a taste of the other five books. If you haven’t, you’ve got lots of goodies waiting for you!

I love that I can pick up a new Abby Knox book and I will be taken by surprise. She keeps it fresh and unique without losing the feels. Ms Knox writes with heart, humor, and tons of heat. Mal is just single mom and business owner trying to keep her head above water. She also wants to stay away from the nosey, sanctimonious parents at Greenbridge Academy. Her daughter and her career are all that matters. That all changes when she lays eyes on the new fiction writing teacher Quinn. Quinn cannot believe his luck in this new town. Not here but a moment and he meets the most gorgeous woman, inside and out. I swooned big time over these two and couldn’t stop reading it if my house caught fire. Simply phenomenal!
Another great addition to Greenbridge Academy
Loved these sweet adorable characters. Their love for sweets brought them together.
I read an advanced copy of this book.
I can’t believe I’m only just now reading this one!
There have been a few in the Greenbridge Academy series that I just absolutely loved and others well, I didn’t hate them, but they weren’t a favorite of mine.
Bake Sale Queen of course falls in the love category!
Mallory is the bake sale queen of Greenbridge Academy. She’s briefly mentioned in the second book of this series, but we finally get to know the woman behind the baked goods. Mal isn’t like the typical mom’s of Greenbridge. She’s trying to boost her home-baking business while keeping up with her daughter’s field hockey schedule. Men haven’t been in the picture since Mal was last with her daughter’s father. So it’s a bit unfortunate that the man who’s caught her eye at the grocery store is the new English teacher at Greenbridge Academy. Because what could ruin her teenage daughter’s social life more than her mother dating one of her teachers!
I loved Quinn and Mallory’s story.
I loved how Quinn was very understanding of Mallory’s choices for her life and future. But he also made sure she could see how he could fit in with her and how he could make some of her dreams/wishes come true.
This insta love, sweet, funny and saucy book had me reading it until finish without putting it down once. I have read many of Abby’s books and i knew I was going to love it just as much as the rest. This book is part of a series but can be read standalone. When baker meets English teacher the instant connection makes you swoon.
I had a smile on my face the whole way through just how beautifully they fit together and how he never stopped showing her what she truly deserved which was love, tenderness, a true man. I received this as an arc to give an honest opinion and cannot wait to read more from this immensely talented author.
This was such a cute read. These two were flipping adorable. They meet when his cart bumps her at the grocery store, in the snack cake aisle, when she is reaching for Twinkies…yup, loved that too. Kinda felt right then it was going to be love at first sight, because let’s be honest, nothing says I love you like Twinkies…ya’ll know I’m right. The professor and the baker…love it.
This was a safe and sweet read. There were a few issues with a jealous neighbor, but she gets hers. Oh, and there were some baking cookie shenanigans too *wags eyebrows*. A sweet epilogue and an hea. I love this series, my favorite of Abby Knox’s, just adore it.
Oh, and kudos for her using the word ridonkulous…that was awesome.
Gahhhh… this story was so sweet! It is a fast read, but oh so sweet. It has humor, the tiniest bit of agnst and very wonderful characters! The new English professor needs to raise monet got a field trip so he gets the Bake Sale Quuen to help him out. Lots of cookies, cakes and sugary moments. Definitely a fun read.
