Protecting the teenage sister of the one person who could ruin the safeguard of the Young Outlaws MC was never something Colt (Cannon) Gunner had expected to take to church. But when it’s vital to the survival of the club, then Cannon would make sure that it was settled with the crash of the gavel.
The last thing he’d expected was to have a crazy connection with the too young, too pretty, feisty … pretty, feisty blonde woman that they were tasked to keep safe. The more he tries to deny his craving for her the more he seems to be drawn in.
Being a 1%er may make you an outlaw but committing a crime with her just couldn’t happen.
That would be UNLAWFUL.
This book is a romantic suspense, forbidden love and contains dark elements. Reader discretion is advised.

Absolutely loved the first book in this series! MC is one of my faves! I loved Colt and Leah together . Colt is hot and brooding and Leah has sass and attitude which I love! Anyone know where I can get my own version of Colt? Fab start to a series
This thrilling MC will have you all over it! Colt has been tasked to protect Leah and when he had to come to her aid to protect, the sparks fly. he is drawn to her although he is older. He tries to deny his feelings but the heart wants what it wants. Leah is a young head strong lady who keeps Colt on his feet. I love the beginning of this series and can’t wait to read the rest.
Mammoth is like a gentle giant, he has his vulnerable side hidden well but it’s there. The tough outer exterior covers it along with his size and muscles, when he falls, he falls hard but still retains just a smothering of distrust. Dana is feisty and sure has a mouth on her, but she is vulnerable, hurting and needing love. I loved the banter between them and a few scenes in this story really had me chuckling, but this story is serious. It has control and mental abuse underlying these characters getting to know each other. Of course there are still issues from book one continuing and running alongside this as they run parallel to each other time wise. A couple of characters are not nice people and I can’t wait for them to get what they deserve. The consistency between the two books was really good or at least nothing that stood out to me, the flow between past/present scenes was fabulously smooth, no hitches to break your enjoyment of this read. The ending ? WOW! Well let me just say the surprise at the end is claimed, it’s mine so hands off.
I need that book like yesterday, don’t know how I’m going to wait patiently for it to be written I absolutely loved this story.
I really enjoyed this book. It is well-written characters and the main character is rough, tough, and downright dirty! It had a lot packed into its short 122 pages. The best thing, too, that it was on Kindle Unlimited.
What a fabulous start to this new series from T.L. Wainwright. I absolutely loved getting to know Colt and Leah plus the other characters that feature in this story and I cannot wait for more!
Colt intrigues me. He didn’t have a great start in life, but he has certainly shown just what kind of a man he is as VP of the Young Outlaws MC. Leah is a popular girl at school but she kind of keeps herself to herself. She’s young, pretty and I love how feisty she is. When Colt and Leah are together their interactions are brilliant and the connection between them is undeniable. Unfortunately for the couple, Colt has taken on the role of protecting Leah and knows that he shouldn’t be crossing that line. That’s not quite as easy as it seems though and I know you will love witnessing the pair struggle with their emotions.
Lawless gets a huge recommendation for you to read this and I award this first book in the series 4.5 fabulous stars. There are many of the characters that I have grown very fond of already, and I am desperate to see what happens next.
