A rejected omega and controlled alpha find more in common and get their HEA. I voluntarily received this book for an honest review
Scars, flaws, strength, beauty
—>>> Love this cover! This second story in the Omega Market series is packed with emotion-packed back stories as well as a wonderfully told, organic romance of a pair of damaged individuals, both inside and outside. I loved Terille’s commitment and caring and considerate attention towards the her. That he would do all necessary to keep her safe and protect her from those who have harmed her in the past as well as to nurture her inner Omega and her trust in him as an Alpha. He is the perfect Alpha for her and well-deserving of her tender heart.
“These things you see as flaws… They’re not as important as you think. Your scars show your strength. How you’ve survived what life threw at you. You’re beautiful, Cassie. Your flaws are what make you beautiful. They’re what make you perfect for me. I’m never letting you go.”
Looking forward to her best friend’s story!
A true joining of souls
This book is a true love story. The world she has built is full of pain and sorrow with no hope. She brings two broken beings together as they work through what is left of their worlds. Leann is a talented author and I enjoy her tales. I would recommend this book for everyone.
Bruised but not broken. Cassie may be small, but she is determined and stronger than people think. Terille is the only one who sees the value in such a small package. He honors her strength and praises her scars. I enjoyed reading this story.

My favorite Leann Ryans book so far, Flawed is equal parts sweet and inspiring and sexy and inventive. Cassie and Terille develop such a beautiful relationship through navigating through the bumps along the way. The sacrifices that Terille makes to earn Cassie’s affection and improve her quality of life makes for a heartwarming story. Seeing Cassie emerge from her protective shell and blossom in the light of Terille’s support and affection makes this a fantastic read with their explosive chemistry as an added bonus.

The writing and editing of this story was fairly clean, with occasional typos in the ARC version of the manuscript. Hopefully those will be corrected in the retail version. The world building was good, with the Omega Market being well described. The characterization was pretty well done, with both hero and heroine being sympathetic individuals. I liked this second book in the series much more than the first book! The heroine and her strength and perseverance really won me over in this one. It was very heartfelt. The development of the romantic relationship in this second novel was far more compelling than in the first novel in the series, also. The plot and pacing was a little slower, with this novel being more about internal conflict. There was not as much adventure or an evil villain in this one. There was a medium amount of angst and fairly low stakes in this novel, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. This novel used the Soldier Hero trope and the Abused Heroine trope, in addition to the Mating Bond trope. The world building was three stars. The plot and pacing was four stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship were also four stars. I gave this novel a combined score of four stars. This novel ends on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a plus. I recommend this story to fans of sci-fi romance or m/f omegaverse romance. I will want to read the next book in this series, since I liked it so much more than the first book in the series. I will probably buy myself a keeper copy of this novel.
