Magnificent read!
Hearst pens a magnetic story in Blood Reign , the fifth book in the Immortal Reign series. I have read work from this author before, and I really enjoyed it. I love a good immortal based story, powers, living forever, on the edge of desperation and vengeance, and of course, destruction. Besides all that, there is also that date with destiny, and it’s not always easy to convince someone you’re their destiny or vice versa. I really love Bianca, and how she is trying to deal with her “life.” A definite attention grabber, so much I couldn’t put it down. The thrills and intrigue is written clearly and the characterizations are engrossing. This story was intriguing and kept the reader guessing. The story brings in the believable, even if almost impossible. Blood Reign is a definite recommendation by Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to reading many more stories by this author.
One awesome end to a terrific series
Kathryn M. Hearst spins the final words of her Immortal Reign series and takes the reader on an emotional spin along the way.
This is the 4th book I’ve read written by Kathryn M. Hearst; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Bianca’s story comes to an end with plenty of action, plot and suspense. I received an ARC copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was an action packed steamy story that brings the series to an end, Sad. But it was well worth reading as it drew me in and kept me reading to see what would happen next and how things would end. The secrets and mystery and errors that happen were both fun and entertaining. The characters were awesome and the scenes so easy to picture. Kept reading to see who was good and who would end up being bad but it was fun. A great ending.
This is a fantastic final book! I’ve loved the journey and all the different characters! This has been an epic tale and this wraps the story perfectly!!
The conclusion. A roller coaster of emotions until the final ending. Blaise has been trying to get Gia’s attention for over a year believing she is his mate and the scion of the prophecy. But then she dies, and Bianca releases powers she has been hiding all her life. Powers that bring Gia back to life, and Blaise realizes he has made a monumental mistake. Now he has to rectify it and slowly woo Bianca. But Bianca has always known he is her mate and was told she would be the scion. Now she has to allow him in. But Bianca has more secrets and powers no one suspected, and the secret to where those powers came from will be revealed. Marcus has taken souls, hurt people they care about, and has taken Nick’s baby. Will all three factions finally work together to take him down or will they continue to be tricked by him? More secrets will be reveled about Nick’s parents, and Bianca’s past, and friends they trusted will betray them. Will the prophecy come true? This is the last book in the series and it is the culmination of everything that happened in the rest of the series. All questions are answered and there are no cliffhangers – not do you wonder what happened to anyone. It is all explained. Not everyone survives in this series, but then it is rare that everyone does. Bianca reveals her powers to save her mother, but puts herself in danger by doing so. Blaise is convinced that Gia is his soulmate, but it can’t be right as she had already found hers in Torben. Blaise realises his mistake and finally finds the right one. Together they have to save everything.
Great book:)
This book was a fantastic ending to the series. There was some sad parts & lots of exciting parts. I do recommend reading the whole series so you know the full story but each book is fantastic on their own merits. I will definitely be reading this series again:)

This book is sooo good I read it in one day! I absolutely couldn’t put it down. This is the final book in the series and Blaise finally realizes Gia is not the savior of his world. He has denied his pull to Bianca since he first met her but that is over when she lowers her shields protecting her power while bringing her mother back from the dead. This book has Immortals, snobby blue blood Immortals, a kidnapped baby, evil Marcus, secrets revealed, a mad mother, a return to Rome, a huge battle, a wedding and some hot steamy scenes.
