Blaze of Love is the complete boxset of the Firefighters of Long Valley series. Come on down to Long Valley, where the firemen are damn fine… Flames of Love (Book 1) – Jaxson’s not interested in love; his priority is caring for his two small boys, and being fire chief of Sawyer. Everything changes the day he catches sight of Sugar. He wants her all to himself – a no-strings arrangement that won’t … himself – a no-strings arrangement that won’t break what’s left of his heart. But love’s as unpredictable as fire…
Inferno of Love (Book 2) – Georgia has spent a lot of years – roughly 26 of them – pretending Moose wasn’t the finest man in town. For the record, she barely notices how his slow, sultry smile makes her knees weak, and always ignores the close fit of his faded jeans. But when she gets trapped in the flames of a wildfire out in the hills of Long Valley, Moose appears amidst the smoke, ready to walk through fire. For her…
Fire and Love (Book 3) – Levi has wanted Tenny for forever. Too bad the town’s beauty queen is waaay out of his league. While she grew up with money, he grew up dirt poor. While she’s a daddy’s girl, his father’s a mean drunk with a vicious back-hand. Levi should just forget about the high-class blonde, but she has a secret that changes everything. When the ghosts of the past return, he must choose between love…or betrayal.
Burned by Love (Book 4) – Firefighter Troy doesn’t need much out of life. Hanging out with his fellow firefighters, a good beer, and…well, one night with a beautiful, feisty woman couldn’t hurt, right? But city girl Penny is trouble and he knows it. Big trouble. He also can’t get enough of her. Sparks fly and their love ignites, but what if the heat between them is too hot to handle?

Four stories, which are the whole series of Firefighters of Long Valley, in just one book.
Four men ready to help people in need working as volunteer firefighters and the women who make them feel complete.
I’m trying to decide which one I like best, but I can’t choose. All of them are different and all of them are wonderful stories.
I highly recommend any book by Erin Wright.
Blaze of love is a box set collection of all four books in the wonderful Fire fighters of Long Valley series. Each individual book can be read as a perfect stand-alone but as some characters feature to a greater or lesser extent in all books it is brilliant to have the books together in one collection. Each fire fighter is different with individual lives and issues but all,one way or another, manage to find their HEA even if it is not the way they expected. I loved all these books individually and now I can read them again very easily. I definitely recommend this collection from a very talented author.
Flames of Love – Jason and Sugar are a great couple. Their attraction is quick but they don’t act on it. Jason was burnt by his ex and is still trying to heal. He’s also the new fire chief and there are some who aren’t happy about it.
Sugar works in the local bakery. She is recovering from a bad relationship, so she too has her demons.
This is their dance to an HEA. There are a few missteps and toes are stepped on, but they get their ending.
Inferno of Love – Erin Wright gives the reader a story about thinking love is not possible with the one who holds your heart because of family obligations.
Moose is supposed to marry Tennessee so that the two power families can come together. Georgia is her cousin who has been in love with Moose forever. Levi is Georgia’s ex who Tennessee happens to be attracted to.
What happens when the life your family thinks you should have is not the one you want?
Georgia wants Moose but he is off limits. Moose wants Georgia but his family, especially his father, will not stand for it.
You’ll root for Georgia and want to punch Moose’s father when he speaks to her..
Fire and Love – I love how these two people who grew up so differently – she the rich, perfect, beautiful beauty queen and he the son of the town drunk – but in reality their childhood contained some of the same shortcomings.
They are ying and yang. They bring out the best in the other and give each other something they never had before – acceptance and love.
There are two surprises and how one of those was handled by the author very nicely.
I look forward to Tory’s book.
Burned by Love – I read this story when it first came out and just reread it for the box set.
As I read I remember how much I liked Troy. The quiet soft spoken, when he spoken, volunteer firefighter who Sparky took to immediately.
Penny the reporter just waiting for her big break to get of the Podunk town can be sassy but she is also self centered and a little selfish.
These are attracted immediately but she’s leaving and he wants to stay. Regardless they can’t keep their hands off each other.
There are some missteps to their HEA. Penny needs to show she’s not as selfish as she appears and Troy needs to trust a little.
Loved this collection of sexy, fun and action packed romances filled with exciting and engaging charters, witty banter, heart racing turns, emotional twists and undeniable passion. Each journey is heartwarming and entertaining.
Five alarm Blaze.
All the firefighters of Long Valley in one smoking hot bundle. I can’t recommend this series enough.
Why?
Normal, everyday people with real problems and developing real relationships. Ok, so the guys are firefighters, but no billionaires in sight.
Highly recommend.

This is a boxset of Books 1-4 in the Firefighters of Long Valley series.
The stories are as follows:
Flames of Love
5 Stars
When Jaxson moves north from Boise to the small town of Sawyer, accepting a position as the town’s first paid fire chief, little does he know what awaits him. Small town living should be less stressful than a big city, right? Not necessarily as he soon learns!
Jaxson seems to face one complication after another right from the beginning – issues with some of the volunteer firefighters, inadequate fire trucks and nonfunctioning hydrants, just to name a few.
When Jaxson meeting Sugar, who works at a local bakery in Sawyer on the morning his new job begins, he is unprepared for his reaction to her. Their first meeting is quite funny but Sugar too is trying to build a new life for herself. Her past haunts her and she struggles with believing in herself.
While facing many obstacles in being accepted into the community, Jaxson also knows he wants to get to know Sugar better. With their mutual attraction, they begin to spend more time together but both have secrets from their pasts and are hesitant to share those with one another. And their pasts impact who they are now. Once those are revealed, it is heartwarming to see how it brings them together rather than pushing them apart, as especially Sugar feared hers would. (I’m purposely being vague here to avoid spoilers!).
You will be drawn into Jaxson and Sugar’s story – feeling their emotions of humor, sadness and love along the way. This is a wonderfully romantic story! As the first in a series (but no cliffhanger!) this also introduces some great supporting characters (Gage, Emma, Moose, Levi…and more) making this a great start to a wonderful series!
Inferno of love
5 Stars
The characters, community, actions and reactions…all of these elements are important in either drawing me into a story or make me feel like a silent observer. Erin Wright once again has drawn me in with the Firefighters of Long Valley series!
In Inferno of Love, we watch as Deere “Moose” Garrett’s planned out life takes some twists and turns, and Georgia Rowland, a hard working, determined banking branch manager (who has to deal with older men who feel a woman shouldn’t be a bank manager…in 2018!) tiptoe around their growing attraction.
In classic Erin Wright style, I was laughing, nodding my head in agreement (especially for Georgia who is a real gem!) and touched (especially for Sparky and Troy) by all of the characters. Her stories draw you into the community she creates and leaves you looking forward to more stories involving the supporting characters! Levi, Tennessee, Troy…many great characters here!
Fire and Love
5 stars
What a wonderful addition to the Firefighters of Long Valley series!
This is Levi and Tennessee’s story. We met both of them in Inferno of Love. Levi is one of the firefighters – also a welder for the local John Deere distributor. Tennessee is the daughter of a prominent farmer in the community and a former Prom Queen, winner of the Junior Miss and a runner up to the Miss Idaho beauty contest.
Do they sound like opposites? What could they possibly have in common? How does their story unfold? Do they find their HEA?
This is a great love story with characters that jump off the page like real-life people dealing with real-life issues. The reader is drawn into the story as if they’re listening to their own friends talking. Truly an enjoyable story!
Burned by Love
5 stars
Burned by Love is the fourth novel in the Firefighters of Long Valley series and, although I’ve enjoyed ALL of the stories in this series, this one is especially touching!
As with all of the characters in this series, Troy and Penny have real-life issues…the kind many readers can identify with. With the depth of character development that Erin Wright gives her characters, they jump off the page as if you’re visiting with old friends. Friends that you are drawn to and want to hear their stories.
We all have challenges, decisions, responsibilities, etc. in our lives, but how we face these shapes who we are. Watching Troy and Penny make their choices and how it influences one another is what makes this story special!
This series was one of my favorites.
The author writes her books with her readers in mind and never fails us.
The plots are all well-written with the same outcome but different ways to achieve them.
All of the characters are so engaging, real and awesome.
These are definitely a 5-star read.
I loved the stories contained in this anthology. It is a series but they can be read independently but the characters do walk through the other stories.
This series focuses on a group of firefighters from a small town. They are love stories and they are relatively clean but spicy. The characters are well developed and the storylines are thoroughly researched. You feel like you are right there when you read the stories.
I have read all of Erin Wright’s books and highly recommend them.
Blaze of Love is an amazing Western romance box set of the Firefighters of Long Valley books, where the characters feel more like family as they cross over into the other stories to say “Hi”. The collection includes: Flames of Love, Inferno of Love, Fire and Love, and Burned by Love. Below is a review of one of the books to give you an idea of what’s inside!
*** Reviewing “BURNED BY LOVE” ***
Troy Horvath was known for being quiet which suited him fine, except that his aunt took it as proof that the world would pass him by. To Troy, it seemed that most women felt the need to talk incessantly about feelings and anything else on their minds, and anyone who preferred to be more private had to have something wrong with them. Sparky was the only female Troy knew who didn’t require constant talking – but dogs are like that. Petting and feeding met her needs for a happy life and a lifelong bond. As for Troy, staying in the background made it easier to keep secrets he didn’t want revealed.
When Troy’s uncle retired as the fire chief, Jackson Anderson beefed up the training program to learn new firefighting techniques or safety procedures or anything else that was needed to make them better at their jobs. This time, Georgia Rowland had set up an interview with a local reporter to write about the wildfire where Moose Garrett had saved her life. The reporter was already 5 minutes late. So they all watched Moose and Georgia pretending to be just friends as they looked longingly at each other, their relationship all too obvious. Troy would rather be doing laundry at home.
All of a sudden, the room got silent as the click of heels heralded the appearance of the most beautiful woman Troy had ever seen! Penny Roth was the reporter assigned to this story! As she shook hands with them, she asked questions about their firefighting careers. She managed to spot Troy, who was trying to be inconspicuous in the corner! Then she knelt down to shower love on Sparky who, being a formerly abused dog before Troy adopted her, had never made a fuss over anyone except Troy – until now! The men were open-mouthed in shock. Who was this woman?
Both Penny and Troy feel the pull of their chemistry. But Penny is hanging on only long enough to find a decent job in the big city and get out of this small town. Troy, however, loves it here and never wants to leave. Can these two find a way to work this stalemate out? Or will they choose to walk away from something very special? Each of them has conflicting dreams, and secrets that may tear them apart.
This author’s books are pure magic! She pulls the readers right into the town and makes them family! How could you not love these characters you’ll know so well as you read these books? It’s so nice to see Troy get his turn at happiness. Grab this collection and don’t skip over this one! Your Long Valley family is waiting for you to come home!
I love every book in this series, so save yourself some money and get the boxed set. The Firefighters series is full of heart, romance and hunky firefighters. What’s not to love? And the men of the volunteer fire department find strong and independent women to rescue and even a dog or two. Each story features a very different hero and all the characters come with baggage and complications and they all spark off the women in their lives. The dialog is snappy and fun and Erin has a wonderful way with phrases and observations that will leave you laughing. But there is also serious romance and suspense and a HEA ending for every story she writes. These will definitely distract you while you are social distancing; but trust me they don’t practice that in these stories!
The Long Valley’s firefighter are strong men with a big heart. Four amazing love and live’s stories. You will fall in love with Long Valley’s people.
I have read each of these books, all of them well written, emotive and romantic. The author touches on real-life issues faced by ordinary people, showing their vulnerabilities and strengths, and how love makes us stronger.
Flames of Love: Every now and then, one comes across a book that makes you sulk when it comes to an end, like a kid who’s been denied ice cream! With Flames of Love I wished we could have had an extended epilogue, just so that we could have a few more minutes of Jaxson and Sugar, and of course Hamlet. This book is very well written and evokes the reader’s emotions without being mushy or patronising. Issues surrounding divorce are sensitively dealt with.
Inferno of Love: A story of unrequited love and honourable intentions, this book is a well-written drama set in a small town. Moose and Georgia have been attracted to one another ever since they hit puberty but were unable to act on it due to the controlling influences of family. In many ways, this is a sad book as it brings out the dreadful nature of controlling parents way into adulthood. I enjoyed this book as it is well written with suspense and drama.
Fire and Love: This book, left me feeling pensive, despite the positive conclusion to the story. From outward appearances, Tennessee seems the perfect woman and Levi the town’s scum. Nevertheless, they have been attracted to one another for so many years that they have forgotten when they first noticed each other. The novel is well written, dealing with issues that often pass right under our noses without us being aware of them. It also gives one an understanding of why it is that when one person in a family chooses to change, not everyone is happy about the status quo being upended. Having met Levi in previous books in this series, I was really glad to be able to read his story. I already had a soft spot for him when I started reading this novel. Tenny, on the other hand, started out being the sort of young woman that one has difficulty warming up to. Watching her evolve into a real flesh and blood woman was gratifying.
Burned by Love: A story to tug at one’s heart, one that makes you realise that there are people in this world who hide in the shadows, that are indeed wonderful human beings. Troy is one of those people, despite his insecurities. His family knows why he doesn’t have much to say and his friends accept him as he is without question, but Penny is too inquisitive to keep her curiosity to herself. The bubbly newspaper reporter and the taciturn firefighter make an unlikely pair, and yet they are perfect for each other. Troy’s gentle humour and considerate nature draw one to him, and despite Penny’s ambition, one cannot help but love her. The story is well written, making one stop and think about people with disabilities. I loved Troy’s intelligence even though he didn’t speak much. He’s a wonderful hero and Penny was the person to turn him around, despite her own questions about her future.
I received a copy of this book as a gift through Booksprout and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Erin Wright’s Firefighters of Long Valley series are fantastic reads. Her characters have so much humanity and heart.
Flames of Love is the story of Jaxson, the new fire chief, and Sugar, a baker. Both struggle to overcome past hurts while attempting to have a no-strings attached relationship. Yep, that was bound to fail. I love Erin Wright’s characters because they are so normal. A sweet story of two people fighting to not fall in love.
I do not think I want to be on a mountain in a fire, !but if I ever am, I hope Moose comes to rescue me! (Inferno of Love)
Fire and Love is an opposites attract romance. Levi is the son of the town drunk. Tennessee comes from one of Long Valley’s most prominent families. Sometimes appearances can be deceiving. What Erin Wright’s sparkling characters come alive as they work through their problems to find their happily ever after. There is a lot of emotional baggage in this fascinating story.
Burned by Love is the latest book on the Firefighters of Long Valley. I love that both Ms. Wright has two series set in Long Valley. Her books are stand alones but it adds so much to the experience when you know the backgrounds of so many characters. Burned by Love is the story of Penny and Troy who are both such amazing characters. I was totally engrossed in their story from the first chapter.
If you have not been to Long Valley, take a chance and go. I highly recommend this book and all the Long Valley romances.
