He’s moody, stubborn, and quite possibly the hottest guy I’ve ever seen.
And I’ve seen quite a few, but this one… I’ve been watching him since freshman year of college.
Word on the street is that he thinks women are too needy, too catty, and overall pains in the butt.
He’s about to meet his match.
As a curvy girl who’s had to work hard all of her life to be a ballerina in a world where I … ballerina in a world where I don’t often belong, I’m up for the challenge.
And he is soooo worth it.
Dark hair, piercing eyes, and a smirk that leaves me panting with weak knees? Yes, please. More.
But he’s not going to make it easy.
I wouldn’t expect him to.
First thing is first. Time to break the ice.

I received a free copy of the steamy novel Breaking the Ice: Providence University book 1 aka(Pro-U Series Book 1) by Ali & Weston Parker and this review was given freely.
An emotional and at times poignant college based sport romance with a heartwarming ending. The hint of multiple romances are blended with the usual purported college experimentation, body shaming, parental bullying, glimpses into the training of a ballerina and the lives of a hockey team. Both driven by the love of the sport or from family pressure to obtain excellence in their chosen fields, the unconventionally curvy third year Pro-U balliet student and leader of her brother Jayce’s hockey team’s female support group The Ice Queens , Aubrey Moore and Friars’ senior hockey captain Lucas White find themselves battling a growing attraction while trying to stay at the top of their classes and their sport.
Great read that grabbed my attention from the first page. Interesting characters. Lots of drama and suspense. Many lol moments to keep it entertaining.
Like I have mentioned before Weston Parker’s books are excellent, no doubt about that.
But, when you add Ali Parker to the mix?! They are perfection, and something out of this world (don’t kill me now Weston).
This siblings bring Breaking the Ice, a storyline beautifully written and utterly flawless about a Hockey player and an alpha male, Lucas, and a bailarina born to be a leader, Aubrey.
This story is sensual, funny, captivating, with the perfect amount of college drama, a page turner that pull you right in from the very beginning until the very end.
You can feel their chemistry and the sexual tension throughout the whole book, but both characters are dominant and self guarded due to a heartbreaking past which make each other hard to crack, until the electrifying connection they have been feeling for years start shaking their world.
This heartwarming story will make you fall in love with the characters, leaving you yearning for more, which I hope this great authors bring later on.
This book is another 5 s and I highly recommend it.
This college sports romance is hot. Aubrey is the Queen Bee of the Ice Queens and she has a thing for Lucas who is the captain of the hockey team. He doesn’t date because he feels women are too needy but there is something about Aubrey he can’t deny so they dance around each other in denial of their true feelings. As things heats up will it melt that wall around Lucas before he loses out on the best girl he has come across that could lead to a happily ever after? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Loved it must read
