Sweet, small-town southern romance… two opposites can’t deny they share an attraction. But will conflicting goals–and Peyton’s lack of belief–destroy any chance at a future, or will faith find a way to knit them together…forever?

I loved the World building and the Character building in this. It grabbed me right from the start to the finish of the book. There’s twists and turns that definitely kept me captivated. The Author done an amazing job. I definitely recommend.

What a wonderful story. It was so good to see Kami and Wyat again. And get to discover Reese and Peyton, and there story. I laughed and cried with Peyton. I loved how the author slipped in scripture as Peyton grew in her journey of life. Loved the people, I really slowed down reading because I didn’t want it to end. If you like clean inspirational stories, I highly recommend ‘Tulips and truth’. I received this book from the publisher. The thoughts and comments are my own.
Reese and Peyton are at odds as soon they meet. Reese is upset because he wanted the building Peyton rented for himself. He’s frustrated because he feels like his family doesn’t appreciate him and his goals. Peyton is trying to start over in a new place, but Reese’s antagonistic attitude is making it hard to feel welcome. It isn’t until she learns that Reese wanted the building she rented and his feelings about how his family views him does she understand. Reese is soon convicted about his unChristian like attitude towards Peyton and try’s to make amends. Peyton is hesitant, but slowly opens up to Reese. His change in attitude shows her the way to faith and a new found love of the Lord. I was given an advance copy of this book to be able to share my views with you. It is a wonderful story of faith and love!
I’m so happy to continue reading the Wildflower Wishes series. Tulips and Truth is book 2, and while you don’t have to read Magnolias and Mercy first, Tulips and Truth is definitely more enjoyable if you do.
In Tulips and Truth, we see the Cutler family members make a business decision while Reese is out of town; and it’s him who suffers the most. Reese has wanted to make a grafting room in their brownstone near the nursery. He returns from vacation to find that his mom and brother decided to lease the space to the new florist in town, Peyton. Upon Reese and Peyton’s first meeting, sparks fly, and not in a good way. Soon, they both see the need and benefit of a truce.
This is another great small town Tennessee store from Mary Manners, and this continues to be my favorite series by her yet.
I received an advanced copy of this book from a publisher, but a positive review was not required; this is my honest opinion.
Reese and Peyton have a sweet romance story in Tulips and Truth. I felt like the book was too short to really tell the story. It seemed like there was a lot left out that would of been better with a bit longer story to really develop the characters in more detail. Other than that it was a short read with a good message about learning to let go of our way and allow God to work things out for our best. I received a complimentary copy of this book, but have freely chosen to offer my own thoughts and opinions.
I loved this story, and the characters, as well!
Reese loves working at their family’s Cutler Nursery, but becomes frustrated when he discovers the building, he hoped to use for adding a grafting room, has been rented out from under him. When he first meets Peyton, he doesn’t realize who she is, but soon figures it out, and gets rather angry about her getting the building. But, after some time, he begins to realize he likes her, which complicates his feelings. It’s a wonderful story that’s easy to read, and I recommend the book.
What a great book. Two differing visions collide with verbal fireworks. Well written with super characters. Highly recommend. I received an advance reader copy. Opinions are my own.
A shorter novella. A sweet, small town romance. Great characters, some we’ve met before, rededication, dissension, and flowers. A nice installment in this series.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I liked this second book in the Wildflower Wishes series just as much as I did the first one. Maybe more. I loved Reese, even though he tended to be a little hot headed. He was also able to apologize when he had been wrong. I loved Peyton because she was able to pursue her dream and came to realize that God really did love her and care about her. I would recommend this book.
I received a digital copy of this book from the author and was not required to write a positive review.
Awe! Back in Clover Cove, meeting up with folks we came to love in Book 1 of this series and meeting new folks! It was so awesome getting to know Reese more and oh did I fall in love with him! And Peyton, she’s a wonderful addition to the Cove. I love their story and how Ms Manners brings two stubborn folks together while giving God’s plan the glory! I love visiting this small town and can’t wait for more!
I was given a copy of this book in exchange of my honest review.
Mary Manners book Tulips And Truth:
Reese is upset when he finds out that his plans for the brownstone have fallen apart. Peyton is a amazing lady. When she decides to move and open her own flower shop her life will change. Reese is trying his best with the news about the brownstone. When he meets Peyton they don’t hit it off. Watching these two will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. You will feel God working throughout this wonderful story. Mary Manners is truly a amazing Christian author. I had the honor to review this book for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could.
