When it comes time for revenge, I’d never expected this showdown. Enchanted Penitentiary is at a crossroads, and I’m in the crosshairs.Because the final enemy is going to be impossible for me to defeat.
Even though my powers—and my feelings—have grown stronger.
I’m not the same Emerald I was. But maybe this is who I need to be to survive.
Bound by Fae by Abbie Lyons is an amazing story to read. This is book number three in this amazing series that I have just loved reading and can not wait to see what this author will write about next. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about Fae and paranormal romance.

This is book 3 of the Enchanted Penitentiary series. I thought this was a great addition to the series. The story is well written and character work is great. It keeps your interest from beginning to end. I would recommend reading.

And so the end is here… Argh, how will I live without my fix of Delilah and Em, the Enchanted Penitentiary’s bestest BFFs? Because seriously, these sisters funny friendship just made everything so right about this series. That and the surprises you had coming after the cliffhanger of book 2… Plus a few surprises that made me grin, because the writing is so quirky that just because you expect things to go down in one way doesn’t mean they will.
I will say I found the ending to be wrapped up rather quickly, and the generally conflict resolution is rather easy. I did kind of wish it were a little more involved in the political wrangling with the Fae cities. But that’s the tone of this story: light, fun, a bit OTT (even if it is about someone accused of murder). This isn’t all big battles, prison riots and innocent lil’ Fae kiddies getting justice via starting some massive war. Emerald and co just aren’t cut out for that sort of Hunger Games stuff; they’re more for the persuasive methods (one of which made me laugh out loud – it was so unexpected). The characters are just so much fun to be around, and the romance simmers along without becoming overwhelming. Tarian and Gage get some more POV time, which I kinda loved.
There are still some questions I wish could have been answered, but all the main points are wrapped up with the perfect amount of cosy vibes and oddball Fae morals on life, love, and magical politics. Yes, I like my fantasy stories to go deeper usually, but for a light read this one hit all the right warm-n-fuzzy notes with a side order of humour.
-I received a free ARC e-book from the author. This does not influence my review-
In the third and final book, Emerald and Delilah are now in charge of the prison. The Prince had been rescued and he has to prove his worth once and for all. He is worried about Em and wants to get her out. The warden is being nice and accommodating to Emerald and Delilah just in case the Prince manages to become King. Now that April is back and alive, Em will figure out it was someone else she actually killed. She is the deciding factor about who gets the crown. She has inherited a girl gang. Then there is her ex-friend who is now trying to double-cross the Prince to get Emerald out and to himself. She has feelings for both men and will not choose either of them. The Prince will need their help to recover the crown. Emerald’s lawyer will also be a part of all the action. It is another whirlwind adventure with the whole gang…but the one thing they will learn is that they are family~ I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.
Now I loved this series, loved emerald fell in love with gage and especially Delilah i Absolutely loved Delilah and of course Tarian, This book also kept you on the edge until the end especially since the revealing ending of the last book. You didn’t know what’s was gonna happen and how it was gonna happen and I wasnt expecting what did happen throughout. I was expecting a bit more bang and fight at the end though,it did answer a lot of questions but I was hoping for more answers hoping for more please (hehe) ??? Still loved this series and recommend you read it !
What a fun and action packed ending to this prison series. I loved how every loose end gets tied up, every secret exposed and we get an ending that will have you smiling and very satisfied. What a beautiful book, start to finish and one of the most fun and enjoyable prison book I’ve read in a long time. Perfect ending to this series! Loved the characters and the way they interact together is fun and enticing. Beautifully done! Will definitely reread this series again, its that good!
The story line was good, the character work was terrific and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was another great addition to the series and I was entertained from beginning to end.

Twisted Humor
In “Bound of Fae” all truths are revealed, all debts are paid, and all lies are brought to the light. This hard-hitting and humorous ending to the “Enchanted Penitentiary” series is everything you could hope for and much more. The twist at the end is a most welcome surprise that will keep you smiling and laughing well after you read the last page. This is the most entertaining magical penitentiary series of the year and I highly recommend this series
This final book is pretty good. The author has done a phenomenal job with building this world, the storyline and its characters. I really enjoyed this series and I look forward to reading more from this author.
This is so sad, it is the end of a wonderful series!
