Ruthless
Arrogant
Dangerous
Sexy as sin
Deacon King is the devil and I’m unknowingly about to be his latest dance partner.
I’m captivated the second he arrives to do my interview. He’s the dangerous kind of sexy that women should run from. Little do I know, the simple promotional spread for the new reality show I’m starring in is about to become the beginning of a living nightmare.
We are … living nightmare.
We are connected in a way I never could have imagined and he’s set on making me pay for a life I had no control over.
Everyone thinks I’m a Park Lane Princess, but there’s much more to me than meets the eye, and I will not cower down to Mr. King no matter how hard he tries to break me.

Torment by Tracy Lorraine and Angel Devlin. WOW! what a fantastic and tragic love story! Everything you love to hate about a true alpha you will get in Deacon (arrogant, playboy, manipulator, ruthless, and HOT). Emotionally charged setting with tormented characters, heart-pounding drama, and passion. Mia gave him a run for his money, but it took her awhile to grow her back-bone. Overall, I enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to more from B.A.D. Inc.
Wow, Deacon pissed me off multiple times. His desire for revenge is all consuming and sets him on a path to destroy his father and it doesn’t matter who he hurts in the process. Mia is immediately attracted to Deacon until he starts talking. He has that smooth talker slickness that she hates but she can’t deny the physical connection. There are also times when Deacon drops that smooth persona which gives her a glimpse to the man he tries to hide. While Deacon works his masterful plan, Mia is launching a reality show as she works to build a life separate from her mom’s money. She has grown up in a privileged life but that isn’t how she wants to continue. As she gets pulled deeper into Deacon’s web, she finds a man that she can be herself around and truly love. I was crushed when Deacon launched his plan. I had hope that maybe he would embrace their relationship and realize revenge wasn’t worth losing the person you love. Will there be any winners in the end? I was tied in knots during most of this story battling a love-hate relationship with what Deacon was doing while liking Mia more and more. Can this story end happily? You have to read to find out because it is definitely full of surprises. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
Deacon starts out by with a game for tit for tat by lying and using Mia’s (FMC) feelings against her but in doing so it becomes something more. The fallout of which hurts more people than the intended target. The more i read this story the more i wanted Deacon to not go through with his plan but when it kicked off i really wanted Mia to make him pay. Even though part of me thinks enough was done to him as payback. Thats only my thoughts though. I really liked Mia’s amd Deacon’s book. Im happy with the ending it got too. A good read
Deacon is the bossman at B.A.D., Inc., a magazine publication and he has to interview an up and coming socialite, Mia, to promote her new reality show that will be filming and airing soon. Mia has signed up to do this reality show because she wants to make something of herself outside of her famous mother and father’s shadow. She wants to make her own way and sees this show as her ticket to that. When Deacon and Mia meet for the interview they are both drawn to each other but Mia sees through him and wants nothing to do with him. Deacon wants what he wants when he wants it and currently that is Mia. When he sees a picture of his father with Mia what he wants changes. He sees red and suddenly his new mission is to take down his father and he is going to use Mia to do that.
This was the first book that I read by Tracy Lorraine and Angel Devlin (together and individually) and it will not be my last. I was sucked in from the very first page and did not want it to end. Nobody is who they seem to be in this book and I loved watching the characters unravel and show who they are. Mia plays the rich socialite good girl but deep down that is not who she really is. Watching her reveal her true self to Deacon was a wild ride and not what I expected at all. Don’t want to say too much because it would be spoilery. Deacon plays the bad boy arsehole but deep down he is just a broken boy who wants and needs to be loved. Both of them were like an onion, peel back the layers to find who they really were deep down and both of them found that they actually liked what they found.
The games that Deacon was playing with Mia were delicious and devious and fun. Their verbal sparring was epic and their chemistry was off the charts. While we always knew what Deacon’s motivation was we were always in the dark as to his plans when he was playing his game with Mia. But watching him struggle with his feelings for Mia and following through with his plan was captivating. I couldn’t put the book down. Torment was a riveting book that was full of steam and angst and heart break and I want more. I can’t wait to see where this series goes and hopefully see glimpses of Mia and Deacon in the future. I highly recommend that you pick up Torment.
Tracy Lorraine and Angel Devlin slayed writing Torment. Deacon is one of the biggest POS I’ve ever read. He is a 100 percent pure alpha ahole with an arrogant attitude. I’d have to say I really enjoyed Mia as she may have been a trust fund kid but wanted to make her own way in the world despite being privileged. The chemistry between the two is fire! The secondary characters were great and I look forward to more from this writing duo! This is a must read!
Enjoyable bokk. The story was well written and the characters were well developed. The chemistry between Deacon and Mia was intense and their relationship as it developed was enjoyable to read. I liked the ending but did not like that it was a cliffhanger.

Such an appropriate title for this newest release that doesn’t disappoint. I loved the intensity of the characters, the intriguing storyline, and the surprise that made for an entertaining and enjoyable read. If you enjoy your main characters you love to hate than this is for you. Can’t wait for the next book.
WOW!!! AMAZING! DANG!! SAY WHAT?! And so many other things went through my mind when I read this book. Reading about Mia and Deacon had me nose deep and I didn’t want to come up for air. This book will have you hating Deacon and then loving him but also saying WOW! about Mia transformation! These two authors have continued to out-do themselves and I can’t to see what happens in this world! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND ITS AUTHORS!

I’m not sure what is going on with Tracy Lorraine at the moment, but her leading men just aren’t doing it for me. They all have floppy hair that they have to keep sweeping out of their eyes. Even the cover photos aren’t the usual hunkiness that I’d become accustomed to with her books. I think these photos matter, as well, it is the first impression we are given of the man we are supposed to fall in love with for a few hidden moments (inside our e-reader). He sets the tone for the book, and something has changed with the style of man that we are being given.
It took me quite a way through the book to get used to Deacon and Mia. I know he was supposed to be a bad guy and we aren’t supposed to ‘like’ him. Well, he certainly isn’t very likeable. I think the authors depicted him very well, and until the end, they managed to keep the persona going which made for a good read.
Mia was a little too weak-willed for my liking. I think someone sassier and stronger was needed to rival Deacon, and she just had something missing. She gave in way too quickly and easily, and even though he warned her what he could do to her friend, she didn’t take heed that it could happen to her as well. She frustrated me.
I really liked visiting Blackpool with the couple, though, as this is where my husband and I went on our first date. We too stayed in a somewhat questionable B&B, and the landlady in the book could have been the one we encountered! So this was a pleasant trip down memory lane.
The book certainly picks up pace as it gets going and really hits its stride when Deacon puts his pans into action. I was very impressed that the authors didn’t back out of this and like I said it was fantastic that the bad boy kept up his temperament all the way through to almost the end. He does become a little bit of a soft bear at the very end, which was disappointing, and I kept hoping the whole way through that this wouldn’t happen. That we would get a fitting end to what had been an interesting and different personality. Unfortunately, this wasn’t to be.
Overall, it was a good read. I don’t think this book in any way compares to the last series the two authors collaborated on. I think with those they excelled, and with this, they were trying something different that sort of worked but was just slightly lacking. It will be interesting to see if they hit their stride with the follow-on books, and I am intrigued by Tyler’s story, which was slightly interwoven into this one. I just really hope he has better hair!

Well damn, Torment was not what I was expecting. But I was captivated by Tracy and Angel’s words. It was dark, intense, steamy, mysterious and the characters are loveable. The story line blew my mind! I can’t wait to read RIDE and hopefully see more of Deacon & Mia.
Deacon and Mia, oh my goodness! These characters were written with so much depth! They will elicit so many feelings from you.
Bad Inc will be a series that I follow very, very closely.
When I picked this up, I could barely put it down. I slept three hours, only to wake at 1:30 am to finish… Yes, I know, bad!
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this story! Wait, I just did! I think you’ll be stuck to your e-reader like glue!
I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

*spoilers* My first impression of Deacon King was nothing short of arrogant bastard. As evil as his plan was to destroy his father, I couldn’t believe he would make Mia collateral damage!! Torment is everything you look for in an Alpha Male story!! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!!

Deacon meets Mia for an interview. Mia and Deacon fall in love, but the past interferes with their relationship. I enjoyed Scott, Suki, and Belle being loving family members in Deacon’s life.

The authors have pulled us into the lives of the characters and never let us go. We have Deacon, a cruel bad boy, and Mia, a young socialite, that have nothing in common. Mia is so much more than she portrays and yet Deacon wants to extract his revenge through her. The story is quite dark and yet, still steamy. All you can do is hope that Deacon gets his comeuppance and Mia survives the damage that has been done.

A good read which is basically about a man with dad issues , Deacon finally finds away to destroy his dad but he didn’t bargain on falling for Mia after he finds out about the connection between his dad and her , there’s drama , plenty of scheming , lot’s of steam and throw in a murder to top it off and it makes it a good read , can’t wait for the next book about Ty and Anna
