Superstar NFL quarterback Gabriel Wyatt loves football more than anything. Until he falls for that woman he let go back in college–his girlfriend’s best friend.
My girlfriend hates football and hates Boston even more. She moved to Atlanta and is staying there, expecting me to change teams.
But that’s only half the problem. Her best friend just moved to Boston and i’m supposed to show her around … i’m supposed to show her around while she keeps an eye on me. Mia. That girl from college I couldn’t have, didn’t want to start anything with because I knew whatever we had would be sure to derail me. And that would have compromised my football career.
So what? It had a crush four years ago. I’ll show her around. No problem. I could handle it.
Except now I’m falling for my girlfriend’s best friend. Hard.
This is a sexy new adult sports romance stand alone novel set in the world of the Boston Militia football team. (Contains sex and language for a mature audience)

Shows the underlying reason for what makes this man a man to remember. Realistic and wonderful story. Worth reading April H Jacksonville
Loved this book, couldn’t put it down. Great story with relatable characters
This was a wonderful sports romance. Mia displayed the characteristics that I enjoy in my favorite heroines. She’s feisty, genuine, caring, lovable, and will do anything for others, even if it hurts her to do it. Gabe is a strong, focused football player who needs to realize that his career is not the only important aspect of life. I enjoyed their interaction with each other, but I would have loved if there could have been a few flashbacks to the college days. Their college days were mentioned and given some detail, but I would have loved to have seen an actual scene portrayed. This book had me smiling and bawling. So get those tissues ready! An excellent read perfect for any time of the year.
I received a free copy in exchange for my honest opinion.
I really liked this book. Even though it’s a sports romance, it’s mainly about the all out dedication that Gabe has for football to the detriment of his romantic relationships. He’s involved with Denise but with a long distance relationship. They don’t see each other that much and she doesn’t even like football. Denise’s best friend from college, Mia, moves to Boston where Gabe’s team is based. Denise schemes to have Mia test Gabe’s fidelity by trying to get him to kiss her. Gabe remembers Mia from college when he and Denise double dated with Mia. They had a lot of fun and connected and the connection is still there. They are both fighting the attraction. Gabe feels that his relationship with Denise is over but he can’t start one with Mia because of football. I had so many feelings reading this story because of Gabe thinking that he couldn’t have a relationship during football season, his mother’s health, and his coach’s attitude. This is such a good story though. I received an ARC through Hidden Gems and I’m leaving my honest review. I have since purchased a copy for my library.
I haven’t read many books by this author but a few and I’ve liked them so far. This is an entertaining read. I found it compelling. The story is about Mia and Gabe. The could be a great couple but each have many issues personally they needed to deal with. Mia was new and still grieving her father’s death. She actually a crush on Gabe. Gabe was a star quarterback who placed football ahead of all else in his life, including his longtime girlfriend, Denise. Denise moved and asked Gabe to be welcoming to Mia who was new to the area. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book from HiddenGems

I had a hard time staying interested in this book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC from Hidden Gems.
I didn’t much care for the way Denise, Mia and Gabe treated each other. I understood where Gabe was coming from. Just didn’t like his execution. If Denise wasn’t the one, why bother being in a relationship? Then to have Denise and Mia play mind games at the beginning of the book, left a bad taste in my mouth for Mia.
