Finding a soulmate is different for everyone. Lev and I met at the side of the road and became friends over a common language. Then I had to tell him that I couldn’t see him anymore.
Maria Rawlins is the best friend anyone could ask for.
Funny. Passionate. Twice shy.
Under her insistence that she doesn’t need a man is a yearning for the kind of meant-to-be connection that her mom and sister … that her mom and sister have both found. She wants a Russian soulmate who loves life as much as she does.
A man who’ll make time to be with her, who’ll see her as his equal.
She doesn’t notice Lev settling into the empty space in her heart. Not until there’s no way to stop it.
A Russian-import NHL athlete, Lev Popov is…
Talented. Sexy. Wounded.
This devil-may-care extrovert could have any woman in Madison, but his heart is locked behind a wall built by his ex. Yet brick by brick, Maria is breaking it down.
Falling for his best friend is not what Lev wants. His heart races for Maria – and at the thought that loving her might mean losing her.
True love might be rare. True friendship can be rarer.

I read this book awhile ago and forget to publish my reviews. I really enjoyed this book. Being a hockey person myself I really enjoy the books that are written about it. It was well written and the characters complement each other. Keep up the amazing work you are doing. I received a free arc copy of the book and I am voluntary leaving an honest review.

This is a sweet friends to lovers romance between Lev and Maria. The author does a great job developing the story and pulls you in with all the emotions flowing throughout. She brings strong characters and does a beautiful job setting her scenes and delivers an enjoyable story that flows fluidly. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.

I loved each and recommend you read them for yourself you won’t be disappointed. Happy reading everyone!!
Lovely story of destiny…
The blurb & previous reviewers have outlined the story. This was a unique story of friendship to love with a few obstacles to overcome before they could become true soulmates. From Russia with love & I so enjoyed this well crafted page turner. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
HEARTWARMING, WONDERFUL FRIENDSHIP, BEAUTIFUL ROMANCE.
This book was a slow-burn romance that was surprisingly clean. No cussing, no in-depth sexual scenes, I was very surprised actually. Most romance reads today have a lot of both in it but this definitely did not.
The book starts out with Lev, who is a NHL player and Maria, a finance consultant, meeting when she rescues Lev due to his car having a flat. From there the story moves to show the growing friendship they develop even while Lev still has things about his life he doesn’t want to share. Maria is understanding and present for him when he needs it and vice versa. Things start to get a little bit more involved for Maria when she realizes she’s starting to have deeper feelings for Lev and neither one are sure what to do with that. Needless to say this book ends with a wonderful HEA and it is a very sweet and romantic book. If you’re looking for a clean, sweet and romantic read look no further than Final Score!
