The Wrong/Right ManWaking up to a text asking why you stood up your blind date is not the best way to start the day, especially when the man in question is standing half dressed in her kitchen.Maybe Dakota Newton shouldn’t have assumed the gorgeous man with a devastating smile standing outside the coffee shop was her date. She probably— Okay, she definitely shouldn’t have slept with him, … shouldn’t have slept with him, regardless of how hot the chemistry between them was. But how could she know Mr. Right was actually Mr. Wrong?
Braxton Adams has been called a few things in his life, but a liar was never one of them. That all changes when he’s approached by a beautiful woman who thinks he’s there to meet her for a date.
As a businessman, Brax knows to trust his gut and never let an opportunity pass him by, so he pretends to be someone he’s not.
Maybe he shouldn’t have lied. Maybe he should have come clean. But in the end, it doesn’t matter, because now he has to prove he’s not the wrong man but the right one.
So what if he’s not the man she’s expecting? She’s the one he’s been waiting for.

First off, I completely and utterly love Braxton! From the first moment he appears in the book, to the last, he is a dream man! Dakota started out, and ended up, okay for me, but there were a few times I just didn’t like the woman. She yelled, and freaked out, a lot. I’m not saying the reasons for her upsets weren’t valid, but her behaviours were immature. She ignored Braxton, a lot. At one point, it I were Braxton, I would have walked away, seriously. She was strong, she was independent, she cared, but she expressed herself poorly. There were a few plot holes that didn’t make sense and had me scratching my head. While Braxton and Dakota were unbelievably sexy together, I didn’t feel their chemistry come across the pages
This authour writes a great book, she tells amazing love stories, and this one had all the pieces there, but fell a little, just a little, flat based on my expectations
Dakota is a feisty character and Braxton has come control issues which all lead to an amusing story. This is a beautifully written slow burn love story which is fun, entertaining, sweet, and with intense chemistry which all leads to a steamy read. I was totally captivated throughout this riveting tale and I highly recommend for all readers.
Gahhhhh!! I swear every book Reynolds has that boom! And I freakin’ love it! This book was steamy and full of tension and had an over the top alpha male that had me swooning! Amazing read! Reynolds nails yet another one. Her stories are so good! You feel happy after reading them even though she can put you through an emotional wringer! If you want an over the top alpha that gets what he wants no matter what…read this now!!!
The Wrong/Right Man is my first read from author Aurora Rose Reynolds and while I quite liked the story and the characters, Braxton Adams did give me a little pause. He was blatantly obsessed with Dakota Newton from the moment he set eyes on her. Obsessed enough to lie and prevaricate when he had the opportunity to clear up the misunderstanding he’d caused. But he chose not to.
Dakota was pushed into a blind date by a friend, all she knows is his name and where she’s to meet him. When she arrives at the street across from the designated coffee shop, she’s blinded by the most gorgeous man she’s ever seen. He can’t be her date surely??
But when asked if he’s Adam, Mr Adams says yes.
A seductive one-night stand is the result and it’s only later that Dakota finds out the truth. Not only isn’t ‘Adam’ her date… but he’s her boss at her new job. Cue, dilemma. She likes him, but she doesn’t trust him. Plus, she wants to do her job on her own merit.
Braxton wants her close to him, in all ways. There’s some pushing and pulling. Some seriously worrying stalking brushed off as just part of her new job and living arrangements. But, overall, the attraction and chemistry win. Braxton was a dominant, powerful alpha used to getting his own way and Dakota wasn’t one to give in easily. Their relationship had its ups and downs but they found their way.
The Wrong/Right Man by Aurora Rose Reynolds is the story of Dakota Newton and Braxton ‘Brax’ Adam. Dakota is reluctantly going on a blind date to work her way back into the dating field after a break up. So when she arrives and sees a handsome man standing outside too, she thinks he is her date. They end up having a great time that even carries over to the morning after but then she finds out that he wasn’t her date at all….that he lied about who he was. Braxton knew from the first glance that Dakota was someone he wanted and was going to get. But now he has to prove to her that he wasn’t the wrong man but the right one for her.
So in love with Braxton! Braxton was a great alpha possessive hero that I love. I cannot wait for more stories from this author…Love her writing!
I wasn’t too enthused with this story. Usually, her stories pack a punch. She writes great uber alpha males and likable.
I did like Braxton but found him to be too stalkerish. I just found the whole story lackluster. I have read her Until series and love the stories. This was slow and a lot less punchy.
There was suspense thrown in which, to be honest, came out of nowhere, I felt this was thrown in to make the story interesting.

The Wrong Right Man is a very entertaining story with relatable characters and just the right amount of drama to keep the pages turning!
I love a strong, protective, alpha man paired with a sassy, independent spitfire woman and that is exactly what Braxton and Dakota are! A chance encounter puts them in each other’s paths and as they say ‘The rest is history’! Dakota turns Braxtons organized, controlled world upside down and he just can’t help but being drawn to her and his protective nature kicks in when she is threatened. He just has to convince her that what they have is something special because she is very independent and is struggling with his alpha ways, but once she realizes that he just wants to keep her safe she sees him in a whole new light and their happily ever after is right within their grasp!

Mistaken identity or sweet serendipity?!
The Wrong/Right Man was fantastic! Sexy and super entertaining! Braxton was the perfect mix of protective alpha and sexy sweetness. Dakota was adorable in her feminist outrage and addictive sass. Despite thinking they weren’t supposed to meet, they couldn’t have been more perfect for each other. Reynolds also builds the tension with some suspense throughout. All in all, a thoroughly entertaining read! I’d love to see more books about the brother’s band, as well! Wink wink.

The Wrong/Right Man is an awesome read.
I’ve enjoyed this book so much. Braxton is a OTT Alpha male and I love him. He is definitely my new book boyfriend.
Love Dakota. But her push and pull drove me crazy sometimes. I think she fought Braxton too much.
I really hope that Jamie and his band mates gets their books.
Great storyline with a little suspense. The fans of ARR will love this book.
My Rating: STARS!
Dakota Newton has a lot going on. Dakota is sent pictures of her cheating fiance`Troy, or should I say ex-fiance`. She packs her bags leaves the pictures and the ring moves in with her amazing brother Jamie, lead singer in a popular band. One night at the bar, her friend decides that she needs to meet another one of her male friends and sets up a coffee date with Adam. Dakota is not ready to met anyone, she is starting a new job, moving into a new place, getting herself together but a promise is a promise. Much to her surprise, she finds the perfect man waiting outside the cafe and she hopes that he is the one she is supposed to meet. After spending one night with this dreamy man, she receives multiple texts from her friend and brother looking for her, making sure she is ok since she stood Adam up. So if she didn’t meet the man she was expecting, who was the man she just spent the night with? So many questions, so many lies! Fantastic read!
What can I say about this entertaining read that hasn’t been said before !!
If you are looking for an intense hot alpha male who’s protective, caring, possessive and obsessed look no further than Baxton’s story in The Wrong/Right Man, you won’t be disappointed.
Imagine having the perfect blind date which leads to a perfect night of passion only to wake up and find out this guy wasn’t your blind date he was a random stranger you picked up outside a coffee shop. Baxton Adam’s is a very successful businessman who knows what he wants in all aspects of his life and he really didn’t mean to lie to Dakota Newton, he just couldn’t walk away from the stunning beauty standing next to him believing him to be her date for the night…..
He may not be the man she was expecting but she’s the one he’s been waiting for
This book has amazing characters and it’s easy to connect to the main as well as the secondary ones, this is a slow burn romance with just the right amount of angst to keep you turning the pages.
I loved Brax and Dakota as a couple as well as individuals, they are people who know what they want and they are both prepared to stand their ground when it’s really important. Great read
Braxton might just the biggest alpha male ARR has written to date. The Wrong/Right Man, is my new favorite of all her books. This story is so entertaining, it has everything and more that what he all have come to love in her books, OTT Alpha, sweet and sassy heroine, and some of the hottest chemistry I have read in a long time. Braxton and Dakota will be you next favorite ARR couple, this book should be at the top of everyone’s TBR list, don’t miss out!!!
(3.6 stars) After a bad breakup, Dakota Newton is meeting a blind date at the coffee shop and they hit if off. One tiny issue…it’s not right man!!! Maybe Braxton Adams should of warned Dakota he isn’t the one she was waiting for that day…but he didn’t. Can her Mr. Wrong turn into Mr. Right anyway? When the truth comes to the surface, will it make it impossible to workout? I didn’t really like Braxton’s approach at certain times to seeing Dakota. Overall this is an enjoyable, quick read with a little twist. Told in Dakota’s POV

Can Mr. Wrong become Mr. Right??
The Wrong/Right Man by Aurora Rose Reynolds answers that question perfectly!!!
This book was everything I have come to expect in a ARR book. She gave us passion, intrigue, some suspense and an OTT Alpha that makes your heart and panties melt. I haven’t read a book by this author that I haven’t loved!!!
The Wrong/Right Man is ARR latest standalone novel. It is told primarily from Dakota’s POV but that was OK….it worked for me. This book had the perfect flow and pace. She jumps right into the storyline and captivates the reader right from the start. Her books are fairly quick reads but they lack for nothing!!! I loved the storyline of this book….She gave us a chance meeting/office romance with a hint of suspense built in.
In this book we follow Braxton and Dakota’s story. Dakota is recently single and when she is set up on a blind date, she isn’t exactly thrilled to go. So when she gets to the coffee shop and sees this gorgeous man outside waiting she can’t help to think this is the man she is supposed to meet…..or is he?? Having an instant connection, Braxton and Dakota end up spending more time than just a coffee date. When she wakes the next day after spending an amazing night with him, she couldn’t be more surprised to find out he was not her blind date. Can Braxton change Dakota’s mind and prove he is the right guy for her? Will Dakota ever be able to trust Braxton after he lied to her?? Read this book to find out.
I don’t know if this book will be a part of a series of books, but I sure hope that we get to see a book about Jamie (Dakota’s brother) I think he needs to find his HEA. Actually all the band members deserve their own books (except Freddie).
Do you have an author that when they release a book you don’t even need to know what it’s about, you just know it will be fantastic and you go in blind because they never let you down. Well ARR is that author for me. I never have to read a blurb of her books, because I know I am going to get an Alpha Hero and a sassy heroine and a love story that will make me swoon and smile. I will read anything she writes!!!
If you haven’t read an ARR book and love an Alpha Hero and a story that has interesting storylines and off the charts chemistry….then you need to read one of her books. This book is the perfect place to start your journey with this amazing author!!! Add this book to your TBR list NOW!!!
Aurora does it again!
Everytime i read a ARR book i know I’m gonna love it, and i know the man will be absolutely amazing.
One thing she does know hot to write is a strong alpha male! *swoon*
I absolutely loved Dakota, she was funny and head strong and gave Braxton a run for his money.
Braxton was seriously amazing like every ARR male is, from the first time you meet him to right at the end he’s just amazing.
I really liked Dakota’s brother too! I hope we get to see a book about him and his band mates!
Aurora’s writing is sweet and a serious feel good for me, i know what I’m getting myself into with her books and fall in love every single time.
After finding out her ex was cheating on her, Dakota moved in with her brother for a while. Well the time has come for her to move on, get her own place, start a new job and forget the loser named Troy. In the process her friend decides to set her up on a blind date, something that Dakota wasn’t looking forward to, but still willing to try. Being late for the blind date was not how Dakota wanted to start the date off, but there is nothing she could do with traffic. When she spots the guy with a watch, the item that she was supposed to look for, she automatically goes to him, apologizes and then proceeds to have the best date possible. So great, that she ended up taking him home with her and having an amazing night. In the morning, it all becomes clear when she gets a barrage of texts about her standing up her blind date. Now Dakota has to figure out just who this is, if it wasn’t the guy she was supposed to meet. Then she needs to mourn the loss of this amazing man, as he was truly Mr. Right, until she found out that he lied to her. But is it really bad that the lie was so he could get to know her better? Can Dakota look over Brax’s super protective alpha maleness?
In a read that seriously just grabs you from the start, Aurora Rose Reynolds gives us an amazing story. With drama, danger, funny bits, super over the top alpha male, and some spicy scenes that heat up a kindle; this story never lagged and kept your attention until the very end, where you didn’t want it to be over. I give this 5 stars.

First of all – sexy cover right there. Very lickable!
It has been a while since I have read an ARR story, and it was great do delve back into her worlds.
Dakota and Brax’s story is soooo steamy *fanning myself*. I mean, don’t we wish all blind dates would work out as well as Dakota’s.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I think Brax is sexy AF, but boy did I have my issues with him.
I know the alpha guys can be a bit full on, and I don’t worry about their actions in books, even though I wouldn’t always particularly like them in real life.
But even for a book character I found his actions too much. This isn’t just stalking behaviour, this is stuff he should go to gaol for!! He was way to OTT for me. Like creepy OTT. Like get the man a restraining order OTT.
I could completely understand Dakota’s conundrum – he’s hot and he’s great and she likes him, but doesn’t like the crap he does lol.
I adored Dakota’s relationship with her brother Jamie, and I hope we get more of him in the future.
So whilst I did like the story, Brax just made me like it a little bit less, his actions made him a lot more unlikable to me than an alpha usually does in my books – but this is probably just me.
4.5 of 5 Hearts
This book CONSUMED MY SOUL!!!! Seriously, people, I started this book and could not put it down. I was obsessed with Braxton Adams and Dakota Newton.
Brax is hands down the most possessive, intense, sexy, bossy, alpha that has made me drool, swoon, and want him all to myself. I only wanted to throttle him when Dakota did and then love him when she did as well. LOL, He is so darn yummy and lovable. Unfffffff.
Okay, Dakota is in my top three leading ladies in the past 50 or so books I have read the past few months. I love this chick so much. She had it rough in the beginning and then she met. Mister Right. No, I mean Mister Wrong. No, I mean Mister Right and her world is changed for the better. She becomes confident. She spoke her mind and fell in love. This is all anyone really wants in life. To find that one person that lets us be our true selves.
This book is filled with moments that had me cackling like a loon and swooning like a loon. Aurora Rose Reynolds outdid herself with this one. Braxton and Dakota are amazing together.
I really hope I get more of this supporting cast. They are great. You even fall in love with Brax’s parents.
One-Click and fall in love with The Right Man.
