Wanted: One night together, no strings attached. Hold me, make love to me, treat me like I’m the most important person in the world. No talking. No names. And don’t be surprised if I’m gone in the morning.
After crushing on my best friend for years, I realize he’ll never want someone inexperienced like me. So I decide to get it over with, play the V-card once and for all with an anonymous … with an anonymous hook-up. The terms are simple: no talking, no names.
It isn’t as easy as it seems. Now I can’t get the handsome stranger who greeted me with soft kisses and gentle touches out of my mind. Those hands, those lips… But it was just a one-time thing, and I need to forget about him once and for all.
At least I know I won’t ever see him again—until I board a flight and catch sight of a familiar profile in the cockpit just as the door closes.

Loved this book! Read it all in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. From the very beginning I was hooked.
Fake boyfriend trope is one I enjoy unless it’s for a negative purpose. Even though the intent here was to make someone else jealous, which I normally wouldn’t be thrilled with, it doesn’t come off that way in the actual telling. Plus the person being deceived is a jerk so it mitigated the deceit for me.
As this author has demonstrated time and time again, she knows how to fully develop characters the readers want to care about and how to construct and pace a well built story. Teo just makes you wish you reach into the book and hug him and Jack’s ability to SEE Teo and care for him just makes you want to swoon. Oh, and there were several times I wanted to throat punch Chris so drawing that kind of emotion out is evidence of good writing too!
It’s a great book, a quick read, that there is no possibility you won’t enjoy.
I enjoyed the book. Lucy is a master storyteller. 🙂
This read hit me right in the feels! Two men who get a connection they can’t deny and the self discovery element makes my heart swell with joy. Enough angst to keep it interesting but sweet enough to keep a smile on my face. Great read, I couldn’t put it down!
I loved the main characters, Teo and Jack. We see their romance blossom and grow from a very steamy one night stand, which became a HEA with all the feels. One of my favourite books this year so far.
Virgin Flyer is a style in which we haven’t seen Lucy a lot so far, Standalones. She was known mainly for his two series Made Marian and Forever Wilde. And for that matter, Lucy managed well, Virgin flyer is a very pleasant read, even if it does not fit into my top of the author’s favorite titles.
I had a great time with this book in which we find the fluid and sexy pen characteristic of Lucy. We easily enter the universe that the author offers us and we get attached, as usual, fairly quickly to the characters. I really liked Jack and Teo. I found that they complimented each other very well. You could easily feel the chemistry between them and their intimate scenes were as for the previous titles, really hot.
Small “disappointment” on the other hand with the character of Chris who although described firstly as an asshole, appears to me as someone sensitive, downright lost in terms of his sexuality, but completely endearing. I really must have a weakness for this type of character, but I regret that the author does not offer us a second title of this universe centered on this character. I really wanted to know more about him and saw him get a happy ending.
As for the story, it is quite simple and without big twists. However, it allows you the book to be centered around the relationship and feelings of Jack and Téo. We don’t get lost in superfluous elements and this offers us a simple but tender and sexy romance. And we really don’t need more.
Virgin Flyer is, therefore, a solid read which will offer fans of romance a very pleasant moment of reading. Fans of the author will see a perfect parenthesis before the next volume of the Wilde family’s adventures.
I enjoyed this read as a story. The characters most of them anyway were sweet and believable but Chris what a twit!
A good stand alone with a HEA
I typically enjoy books that are angst filled, but I had heard good things abut this read and decided to give it a go! I am so glad I did! I absolutely loved this from start to finish. Teo is adorable and so endearing. I felt for him and his situation. I loved how Jack handled him with care from the beginning. Gah, so sweet.
A rating. This was another amazing book from Lucy Lennox. I love that her stories just leave me with a happy and satisfied feeling inside. Wonderful story and characters. I loved how vulnerable Teo was…GREAT CHARACTERS that I fell in love with!
Definitely recommend!
5 Stars!!!
I absolutely loved this book! It was just what I needed atm: Sweet, hot, romantic, hot, with just the perfect amount of angst and did I mention hot? LOL
I adored Teo, he was such a sweetheart, caring and a bit naïve, but he was such a nice guy overall that I couldn’t fault him for being so hung up on Chris, his BFF, even after meeting Jack. And Jack, OMG, I think he’s one of my favorite MCs ever! Dreamy, sweet, supportive and even when he didn’t know of NurseTee’s circumstances at first, he did everything to make their first encounter a memorable one for Teo. They had amazing chemistry from the first moment and it just got better each time they interacted in any way. Their relationship was so organic and natural and I couldn’t get enough of them (which may account for the fact that I fell asleep until 4:40am reading when I had to wake up at 5:20, oops!)
While I hated Chris with the passion of a thousand suns, he did serve a purpose and frankly, if you compared Chris and Jack, Jack would come out winning every single time, except if they were asking for a first-rate twatwaffle.
If you’re in the mood for a book and a pair of lovable MCs that will totally steal your heart (and probably your sleep), I totally recommend giving Virgin Flyer a try. You won’t regret it!

LOVED LOVE LOOOOVEEED This book so much! It was my very first from Lucy Lennox, but now I get it why everyone loves her books, because they’re awesome!
If I start a book from a new to me author, I always get a bit anxious, but I just love it when it turns out something amazing. For example with this book. I fell in love with the characters and the story at the very beginning. Both main character were cute and easy to love.
The virgin theme always fascinating, but not everyone can write it well. Lucy Lennox did an amazing job with this one, because that first sex scene was so amazing I have no words! So passionate while romantic and hot as the deepest hell. I couldn’t even breath, just read and sweat of the hotness.
Jack and Teo were so good together, loved their relationship. Fake love turns into real ones are the best! Both Jack and Teo’s job were interesting and those made them real and I totally can imagine this in the real life.
The emotions- both romantic and erotic – were so good on the pages. I felt all the emotions with them, I was happy for them and I hurt for them too.
The story was exciting and not boring at all. I could read this book forever and totally would re-read it. Really loved this book, and HIGHLY recommend it.
Give me more Lucy Lennox!
This one was so adorable and sweet with very low angst. The story held my interest from start to finish and I just love Teo and Jack together. There were lots of funny moments and cute banter between characters. Teo was a virgin who saved himself for the man he thought he loved his love life until he realized there was a difference in loving someone and being in love with someone. He just never imagined meeting a gorgeous pilot for a one time hook up on a dating app would leave him to finding out just what real love was, he never even expected to ever see the man again until they met on a bussiness trip Teo didn’t even want to go on. Super sweet and fun story. This story has a little bit of everything in it; a little bit of age gap, a one night stand turning into more, a guy losing his virginity to a stranger, and a fake boyfriend situation and a little bit of a love triangle but we all know who Teo is going to pick.
Swoon… Wow , I love this book, so good! I adored Jack & Teo, loved them right away. I had a few cries over the both of them, at least the last cry was happy tears. I so did not want the book to end, it was to good! I highly recommend this Standalone.
Teo just wants to be loved and cared for. He’s been in love with his best friend Chris forever. His straight, best friend who is asking for time to come to terms with his feelings for Teo.
When you’re a virgin and just want some experience, what do you do? Go post online for a hook-up, of course!Teo and Jack were super hot together. Their initial chemistry is off the charts (for a no-name, anonymous hook up)!
Virgin Flyer is a cute, easy, standalone read. I loved everything about this book! The affection between the main characters was endearing and page turning.
Loved the epilogue *sigh*
This book is no way a love triangle.
I absolutely loved this wonderful standalone by Lucy Lennox. What do you do when the man you have loved your whole life asks you to wait for him to sow his oats…especially when you haven’t sown your own? You find a hookup to give you the experience you crave…no words involved. He never planned on Jack though. Jack was literally just flying through town. They never in their wildest dreams ever expected to see each other again. Friendship seems to be all that’s on the table for them but the hits just keep on coming until one day…they need to make a decision that will change them both…but will it be for the better?
Can love overcome your fears? Oh yeah!
The characters in this book drew me in from the first pages and wouldn’t let me out. Lucy has woven several stories together seamlessly. There are fears: commitment, flying, skydiving. There are hopes, family, courage, mis-cues, devotion, and unexpected love. I loved this book!
Teo wants to feel special. To have someone cherish him for a night. To take his v- card. At 26 he is done waiting for the man he has loved forever to fulfill a promise. He doesn’t expect to have feelings for the man who answers his ad. Jack is intrigued by the man he meets. He doesn’t know how special the night is for Teo. He doesn’t even know his name. He just knows he isn’t getting him out of his head anytime soon. When Fate throws them together months later, Jack finds his world turning upside down. Flying for the first time, scared to death, seeing Jack in the cockpit is all Teo needs to calm down. When engine trouble grounds their flight, and a heart attack threatens Teo’s patient & friend, things heat up.
Come. Join Teo & Jack as they discover what is really important. Share their confusion, their joy, their angst, and their love. Watch them grow as a couple, and as independent, strong men. Cheer when Teo finds his voice & leaves his comfort zone; when Jack realizes Teo is his world. You weill love this book!
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

Oh. My. God. I absolutely love these guys. I was invested in these two beautiful people from the first page to the last. But first, let me talk about other things.
The author, with a minimum of words, showed the locations these characters were living in and moving through, making me feel like I was there with them.
The secondary characters are supportive of the storyline, and I developed definite feelings about most of them, good and bad. I appreciate the input from the author on these characters that allowed me to see more of them and their quirks, so I could make a more informed assessment of them and how they fit into Teo and Jack’s lives.
The trope is a popular one, but the author comes at it with a fresh outlook and makes it new again.
The author did not make a fuss about the ten-year age difference between Teo and Jack, as I’ve seen in other books lately. I’m glad. It’s not a big difference.
There is enough backstory on these two to give the reader a good idea of where they’ve been but not so much that it took over the piece.
The give and take on that first night was incredibly moving. The gentleness, warmth, care, and attention had me leaning into my kindle with bated breath, imagining every move and almost feeling every sigh. That has got to be the best lovemaking scene I have ever read. Just thinking of it gives me goosebumps and warm fuzzies.
Teo is the sweetest, kindest character I’ve read in a long while. He has so many good qualities, and watching him blossom with Jack was lovely to see.
Jack is sweet and kind also, even while he is protective and fierce about Teo. I love that the author gave them these characteristics and kept the angst low.
And the conversations they had, whether clothed or unclothed, had a rawness and honesty that you don’t see that often. Just having talks about who they are and why in between bouts of lovemaking and candy. That is good stuff.
I am satisfied with their HEA, finding it believable and long-lasting.
I enjoyed this and hated for it to end.
I look forward to more by this author.
I would rate this 4.5 stars.
At first glace this seems like a love triangle with Teo in love with his childhood friend of twenty years Chris, and his growing feelings for a one night stand turned friend, Jack. But Chris, who is bisexual, acts heterosexual for his parents, and while happy to have sex with Teo if they keep it on the down low, is not ready to come out and settle down in his twenties. When Teo loses his virginity to Jack, he starts to realize childhood dreams are just that. Teo is ready settle down and he is a forever type of guy. As Chris does everything in his power to manipulate his friend in order to keep him close and under his power, Teo is finally learning that there is a difference between love and being in love. Jack learns that maybe his happiness with traveling and playing the field is just what he tells himself to avoid being hurt or hurting others. What Jack wants is Teo, but being in love with someone who is in love with someone else is not on his agenda.
Switching POV between Teo and Jack is utilized to great effect, allowing me to enjoy seeing them fall in love from both sides. This led with the erotic, but subtly pulled me into a romance; the sex scenes are hot, hot, hot…yet surprisingly sweet. This features an age gap and a fake boyfriend trope with forced proximity. Their conversations flow naturally. I laughed and got choked up; I got so attached to everyone. They are adorable together, and as their passion grows into friendship, I was rooting for them. As their friendship changes, it’s not that they don’t communicate, it’s that they don’t check-in with each other when their feelings start to change, leading to misunderstandings. Learning about Teo’s relationship with Chris through his fleeting thoughts about past events makes me want to smack him, but it’s his current treatment of Teo that makes me want to punch him out. I also realized he is navigating the difference between his vision of his future and holding on possessively to the person actually most important to him, like a safety net. Kudos to the author for giving me an understanding of Chris without his POV, humanizing him through Teo’s eyes.
All the side characters here are very effectively integrated into the story: family, co-workers, patients, clients, etc. Jack is a pilot and Teo is a nurse while Chris works in the family’s medical business. If I had a quibble, it would be that while Jack’s family is shown, Teo’s family is not. However, the secret to Jack is his family whereas Teo’s character is best seen through his caregiving for everyone he knows, especially parts of Chris’s family he has known all his life. It’s nice to see people handle things maturely without a lot of drama: people who grow through their experiences, work out their differences, and support each other. The author foreshadows the story well, so I knew exactly where this was going, but I never felt like it was formulaic even with the expected grand gesture. It’s great to have a romance story actually touch me emotionally without me feeling manipulated, without the focus on some sort of emotional trauma or being high angst. I have to say this is an excellent romance that I throughly enjoyed.
