Faith:Our story was classic.A typical fairytale. Two young kids falling in love under an onyx sky.He was my dream …and I naively thought I was his.Until he bartered our love and sold me a lie. Now, I’m returning to the life I once knew…but not as the pathetic mess that left five years ago.I’m a married woman, wed to the richest man in Nashville. But it seems I wasn’t the only one who changed during … Nashville.
But it seems I wasn’t the only one who changed during my time away…
Hardened by life, Jace Walker’s glares drip with heat and derision.
He has war in his eyes and venom in his veins.
I thought I would be safe coming back home, but it seems I only ran from my present to be caught in the crosshairs of my past.
Jace:
I traded my future for a life.
I knew what was on the line when I made the deal, I knew what I could lose, but I also knew that I didn’t really have a choice.
I gambled and lost.
Now the one person I had dreamed of having a future with was walking back into my life bearing the last name and wearing the ring of another man.
Lips painted red, hair that same honey gold and there against her creamy throat was our promise to one another, still dangling, reminding me that I may have lied, but she ran.
I was a liar, she was a coward.
Now she was home, and she wasn’t mine.
This is a standalone- second chance- enemies to lovers romance

Tennessee Truths had me on an emotional roller coaster that I did not want to get off of. Ashley hit me in all the feels! This book was beautifully and wonderfully written with characters I adored. The steamy dance between these two was palpable throughout the pages and I loved every second of it. This book definitely made my list of favorites for this year!

Last time I read a book by Munoz, she hit me so hard in the feels that I saw stars….
This time, she didn’t just pack a punch. She delivered a beautiful story wrapped up in ribbon, disguised as a gift. But it wasn’t, y’all.
It was another sucker punch to my emotions, leaving me reeling after devouring the story of Jace and Faith.
Jace is many things. A jerk primarily. But, oh how I loved his antics.
I swooned with their young love, and I sighed with their more mature relationship.
Exploring the similarities and differences between the two was a journey, heartfelt and utterly unique.
There were so many layers, of both secrets and truths, keeping me turning the page, anxious how things would play out.
Faith earned all of my respect and a standing ovation when she did what she had to do for herself and her happiness. She refused to let things stand in the way, and watching her find her footing was incredible.
I have such love for this couple and their story.
Emotional | Second Chance Romance
Tennessee Truths is a deeply emotional read filled with angst, mistrust, miscommunication, and ultimately healing. This is my first read from the author and I’m so glad I took a chance on someone new because this one hit me with all the feels. I was drunk on this story. In some instances, I was also extremely frustrated, but the weight that was lying on these characters shoulders helped me gain an understanding of their poor choices. So, no matter how frustrating some of the book was, the underlying message and the truly heartfelt ending left me feeling satisfied.
Tennessee Truths is a second chance romance between two people who found love with each other when they were only teenagers. The author starts the story at this point and watching Faith and Jace fall in love so easily was beautiful. But then something goes wrong and they are ripped from each other’s lives in the most unfortunate and heartbreaking ways.
5 years later, they meet again. One would think that two people who loved each other so deeply would fall back in the same old way but that’s not the case with Jace and Faith. These two have both suffered tremendously and it leaves them fighting off a hoard of lies that snowballs into mistrust and miscommunication between the two. This is the point in the story that really grated on my nerves. As a reader (and it’s my personal preference) I cannot stand when characters miscommunicate for an endless amount of time. I understand that it adds to the angst and drama, but for it to keep going and going, I find it gets old. While I love HOW the author wrote the story and lesson behind it, I could hardly stand the back and forth between these two. Yes, there were MANY things standing in their way (I won’t say WHAT because I don’t want to spoil the story), but to constantly MISTRUST and listen to other people instead of one’s own heart was infuriating. Jace, while a lovely character, had such a stubborn nature that I almost didn’t like him. He did redeem himself for me, but it was tough to even like him because he couldn’t get a handle on his feelings. Not only that, he was extremely cruel and at some points reckless when it came to Faith. You’ll see what I mean when/if you chose to read this book. ( I’ll say right here that this ISN’T a bully romance but in some instances, he did come off as a bully! ).
Faith, the heroine of the story, is the kind of woman I love. She’s strong despite everything that’s happened to her, she honest about her feelings, and she does whatever it takes to survive the hell she’s been and still being put through. Ashley wrote her so beautifully that I instantly loved her. I think many readers will agree with me on this statement! It’s empowering to read about her type of characters because it sends a strong message to women that it’s possible to rise from the ashes.
Overall, I did enjoy this one despite some misgivings. Ashley wrote a tremendously strong book here and I loved the message within it. If you’re looking for something angsty and emotional I would certainly recommend this one. I myself will be looking at more of the authors books in the near future because I think she has a gift at writing!
PS: THIS BOOK IS NOT A LOVE TRIANGLE.
This is the first book that I’ve read by this author and I know right from the start that it was going to be good, this book had me hooked and I just couldn’t put it down. This author is absolutely fantastic at telling the story and I couldn’t get enough of it. This book is raw and powerful and captivating and I cant believe that this is the first book that I’ve read by this author.
Faith is a really strong person who has a lot of strength and you will defiantly want to see her journey through until the end.
Jace is also a really strong and protective guy and does everything in his power to protect and care for the ones he loves.
The love between these two is so strong and this book has some twists that you wont see coming. Will these two get the happily ever after that everyone so desperately wants?
( NO SPOILERS).
This book is filled with everything from drama, to secrets to love, to have and you feel it all, it will have you emotions on a roller coaster and you will not be able to put this book down and you’ll be desperate to see it through until the end. This is one of those books that hooks you in and is captivating right until the end.
This author really knows how to connect with the readers and really make them feel there emotions. This book will have your heart up and down and your emotions will be felt. This book is gripping and I couldn’t put it down I really loved reading there story develop and see if truths were told when the past comes knocking. The love is so strong you can feel how much of it they have for one and other. This book is a real second chance romance that is also full to the brim with romance, bully romance secret and lies.
I’m so glad to have found another fantastic author who writes so great and I cant wait to see what she writes in the future. This book is a real must read and deserves every single one of its five stars and many more.
Thank you to the author and publishers for allowing me to read an early copy of this book.
ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
This book is expected to be released 16th April 2020
The boy I’d once known was gone. Wheter he had let me go or I’d given up too easily… it didn’t matter. A monster had found me, and now I was nothing but a walking nightmare.
Jace and Faith’s story starts in school and it is the sweetest beginning.
Soon they go on separated paths, and the truth behing the separation is ugly. When they meet again after five years there’s so much resentment, and also so much making fun of what Faith was, has become, is… All because of broken hearts.
Pride comes first now.
Faith was so lovable as a girl and is still. However, when she swore to herself at taking matters in her own hands, I nearly cheered out loud. It was about time.
I loved Jace as a boy, I wasn’t very keen of him as a man.
The hurt is evident, almost palpable. And it’s constant through the whole story. There is no way you don’t feel for Faith, cheer for her. The writing is so got at presenting how broken she is, you can feel it in every fiber of your being. It makes you want to take her hand and make things right for her.
Tennessee Truths is full of twists, turns and shocking revelations, and it’s heavily packed on the emotion side. You’re going to love it.
Wow. This is my first book by Ashley Munoz and I am speechless! Tennessee Truths was just captivating. Jace and Faith’s history was a fairy tale, until it was not. The feels were unreeling in me as I was reading every page. The heartbreak, the remorse, the fury, the demons, they just swirled around with these characters. I had a small feeling who set up the whole diabolical plan that made a domino affect for Faith’s life.
My favorite part of the story was reading how Faith and Jace connected. It was complicated but yet flawless. Pieces were just falling into place. When the truth finally came out, there was so much damage that the heart took, it was a mixture of lies.
Tennessee Truths is a book that you will easily close out the world for! I put all adulting to the side and had to finish reading it! You will be drawn into these characters! Tennessee Truths is a top read for me in 2020!!! #Bookhangover #MustRead

I received this ARC in return for an honest opinion.
I cannot tell you how freaking excited I was to receive this book. I absolutely love Tennessee so I just knew I would love this book. Plus, add in second chance romance to the mix? SOLD.
This book had everything needed for a good story…heartbreak, anger, regret, love, comedy. EVERYTHING. When I say @ashleymunoz_author did an incredible job at making this story relatable and believable, I mean it. She did such an incredible job with the characters that I could basically watch the movie of this in my head as I read it.
I give this book a 5/5. I genuinely loved it, and refused to put it down unless I absolutely had to. I cannot wait for all of you guys to read this when it comes out on April 16th! Maybe, if we all love it enough, she might give us a second book? Who knows, maybe I’m just trying to have some wishful thinking. Lol. Thank you so much @ashleymunoz_author for the opportunity to read this incredible book. You knocked it out of the water!
Emotional rollercoaster at its best!! Lana~White Hot Reads
I have never read so much angst, confusion, hurt and love like this in a while. Jace and Faith are high school sweethearts but something gets in the way and rips them apart. Fast forward 5 years and they meet up again but its not pretty. Each has their own secrets but refuses to tell the other which makes you want scream at them to get their act together. In the end, love prevails but with a lot of emotional baggage. This is my first book by Ashley and it won’t be my last.
We meet Faith and Jace, high school friends who grow into sweethearts. They’ve since graduated high school and are getting ready to move into their apartment and head to college. Faith’s parents, unfortunately can’t stand Jace but neither Faith or Jace pay them any mind.
I absolutely love this book. I love Jace and Faith. I’d love to drop kick Bryan hard in his swimsuit area. He’s just a rude arrogant asshole
OMG, That ending absolutely killed me. I loved it so much. Will there be more of Jace and Faith ?
I highly recommend this book. Absolutely one of the best books of 2020
OMG! This book was outstanding, it rips your soul out of your body and then like magic Author Ashley Munoz puts it back together!! Will Jace and Faith get their happily ever after or will Faith circumstance get in the way?
What a great story. Jace and Faith fell in love when they were kids. Planning to spend the rest of their lives together, Faith was blind-sided when Jace broke up with her. Fast-forward 5 years and she is trying to divorce her abusive billionaire husband and goes back home. To keep us on our toes we only gets bits and pieces of what happened in the past as we go so the whole time I was left wondering what happened. They both had some anger towards each other but neither of them understand why. Because neither of them trusted the other, this story was a roller coaster ride. They were friendly one minute, angry the next and sometimes you could cut the sexual tension with a knife. It doesn’t really stop until the end. While this is a story about abuse it isn’t shown in detail just discussed after the fact so if that bothers you don’t worry. If I was to complain about anything it was not getting any sex scenes until the end. I felt like I was shafted lol.
I wrote this review based on an advance reading copy that the publisher sent me.
