He’s promised me sunlight. Hope for a better future. Freedom from this horror. A life that doesn’t end in a dark cellar. But, we’re trapped together. Forced to live for the worst kind of people. Desperate to survive for each other. I crave his touch with every breath I take. My heart aches for him. He’s my hope for survival. The man I want a future with. I can have it all again, if only I trust … future with.
I can have it all again, if only I trust him.
Even if that’s the only thing I can’t do.
Note from the publisher: Dolly is a psychological thriller with a dark love story. It is completely stand alone and does not have a cliffhanger. Enjoy!

This is a different kind of story from Measha Stone and I loved it. The story is dark and twisted and will take you on a roller coaster ride that you will not to get off on.
This one is hardcore and not for the faint of heart. The sex, violence and haunting quality are off the charts. Another winner by Measha Stone.
This book had so much promise. The premise was great. Girl was kidnapped and forced to perform for an online audience. Once she’s free, the story goes off the rails. Very disappointing.
Prepare yourself to be disturbed! It’s dark, it’s depraved, and definitely twisted! You’ll be thrown off your game by the depths it will sink to. I found myself yanked right into the thick of things, despite the sadistic bent of Dolly’s story! But the pleasure… you’ll find yourself basking in it unexpectedly too. You just never know when it’s going to happen. But brace for it, as anything goes here!
Ms. Stone is an amazing story-teller! You want to be sure you are not reading this in the house alone! I loved, loved, loved this Very Dark Story!
I have read a lot of Ms. Stone’s books, and I must say, this is a definite Page-Turner! If you enjoy dark, then this is a must read!
Thank you for the ultimate OMG read!!!!
I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
have just finished this and I dont want to go to bed, I mean yes it’s dark romance but its psycho girl Dolly and her playmate Ken who in his previous life was Brian. Brian messed up once and he was going to pay. Dolly was just a good girl with lots of dark secrets. Chills galore its heebie jeebie time fabulous read. I voluntarily reviewed this book.
This dark story was one intense read with great character and plot development that as each page was turned Dolly and Kendoll kept me in total awe until the turn of the very last page!
This isn’t a particularly long read but it’s gripping and satisfying. The story has a lot of suspense and horror elements, so mind those trigger warnings. This isn’t for the feint of heart. Some parts made me feel sick to my stomach, but I couldn’t put the book down for even one second. It was scary intense.
If you enjoy dark, twisted tales than this is a must read.
This book was dark, super duper dark, twisted, oh so twisted that it’ll make your head spin in circles, trigger filled, vile, disgusting, lies, murder, secrets, intense but, I couldn’t put it down. I loved it so much that I had to finish it because it was THAT good. Love Measha’s books!
WHAT THE FORK!!!!!!
It’s WAY past my bedtime but there wasn’t a chance in hell that I was putting this book down!
I can’t even process this darker than dark book. I didn’t even think that Measha could go this dark cause after everything that Dolly and Ken endure…DAYUM! These two are DEFINITELY my new favorite couple!
Now, I’m off to read something with unicorns and rainbows!
Measha Stone has outdone herself with this book. It’s dark, people, dark and full of violence and triggers and I loved it! I had several What-did-I-just-read? moments. It was so cleverly well-written that this is one of the few books I will re-read because I know I will see so much more the second time through. Dolly and Ken have forged a relationship built on horror, and understand each other in a way few can comprehend. The more the layers are peeled back, the more horrific the story becomes-it’s relentless. And yet, Dolly and Ken are able to do what others can’t because of their time together in the basement. A magnificent dark read.
I received a copy of this book. My honest opinion is voluntarily provided.
A new stand alone book by Measha Stone. This is her darkest book yet to date, so make sure you head the warning if that isn’t your thing.
If you are like me and love dark depraved read then this is the book for you. It shows how horrible people can be to others to get their own pleasure and what money can do off course. There is sadness, desperation and strength, but also hope when least expected.
What a fantastic story. It was not what I expected but even better. It is a very dark and intense story, but it will keep you reading to find out what happens and the hell that Dolly and Ken went though. I will not tell you much about the story because I want you to read and have all the feeling I did while reading it. It is scary that this still happens now. Enjoy
I’m a big fan of Measha Stone. I met her through her books Beast, The Tower, and Red (the Ever After series of stand alone books), among several other of her works. This story, however, is quite a departure from her usual body of writings. And let me say at the outset that this is one satisfying read! I loved it.
The first part of this book is a dark read, difficult in spots due to the excellent writing of Ms. Stone. The remaining part of the book, while also quite dark, is so satisfying that I almost purred. Thank you Measha Stone for an engaging, suspenseful, excellently written story. I loved it.
The characters were portrayed so well, so thoroughly, that it was easy to either hate or love them (depending on which character you’re reading at the time). The world building was stark and real, and the plot was tight, complete and well executed. I’m a reader; I read every day. So, when I tell you that if you enjoy suspenseful and dark stories, this is a book you’ll want to read, trust me on this. Highly recommended.
I thought twice about reading this book but I am glad I did. There is no question it is horrific, full of unbelievable depravity and cruelty, but underneath all the violence is a strong message. All too often we read about trafficking rings and we have no knowledge of the depths those rings go to, but those caught are only the tip of the iceberg. We like to think that law and order will take care of it, but unfortunately it doesn’t. Ken and Dolly suffered unimaginable torture and abuse and I found myself hoping they would get their revenge. This book was was more than vigilante justice and although not considered a romance, I think it was.
