Jackson Holt is about to graduate college, but he isn’t ready to grow up just yet. He hasn’t realized his dreams of being a gaming designer. He knows once he leaves the ARC, that dream might as well be flushed down the toilet. His parents were ready for him to come home and take on a real job within the Pack. Something respectable and boring that he would do almost anything to rebuke. He’s …
He’s already added a fifth year for his undergraduate degree, but his time at the ARC is closing fast.
A chance encounter online late one-night pairs him with a team featuring his biggest gaming rival. The team needs an extra player for the big upcoming National Gaming Championship. The one he failed to qualify for on his own. The very one he had tickets for in hopes to pitch one of his games. When he agrees to join them, he doesn’t know his life is about to change forever, in more ways than one.
Tobi Black has lived a sheltered life. Leaving her pack’s territory for the first time is scary, but something she has to do. This was her chance to shine and prove to herself and others that she was good enough to play with the best of the best in the gaming community.
When one of her teammates drops out at the last minute, she’s forced to take on her biggest enemy, or forfeit the Championship. No way was that happening. Besides, they were all in for a big surprise, because wolfhunter247 was coming to play to win. And nothing was going to get in her way. Not even the hot sexy shifter she can’t decide if she hates or is falling in love with.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought Tobi and Jackson were great together. I thought it was funny how much they pissed each other off with their online gaming rivalry since they were like 15 years old. Especially how annoyed it made Jackson when Tobi was using a voice changer so no one would know that they were playing with a girl as she’s probably used to guys egos either not being able to handle that they’re getting beaten by a girl or they end up treating her different. I liked that they didn’t fight their mating, after Tobi actually realised what was happening between them and what they meant to each other. Jackson’s family dynamic was odd considering wolf shifters are usually very close so I’m glad that he got to reconnect with them and get to know his younger brother Jamie and realised that they both have some resentment towards the other how they think their parents like the other better and Jackson thought that his dad hated that he was a gamer but both his parents were proud of him. I also thought it was awesome that Jackson used his graduation present from his Alpha/pack as a surprise for Tobi. I’m looking forward to reading more ARC Shifter and Westin World Universe books. I’d recommend this book, series, Westin World Universe and author to everyone.
This is a good fluff book to read after you’ve read a emotional roller coaster book. I just finished a book that was pretty hard on my emotions, so this fit the bill nicely. It wasn’t anything really consuming or amazing but it was cute and sweet!
Wow! Loved this story just as much as the ones before. Tobi is an amazing girl that loves to break the norm. Jackson is the nerdy HOT guy we all dream about at night. Their chemistry can be felt in and out of the gaming world. It can be both explosive and soothing depending on the situation they are put in. This is a mating that was made in heaven. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this world. It just makes you want to jump in and stay a while.
Omg! What a fan-freaking-tastic page-turner this is! “iPromise” is from the amazing must read series, the ARC Shifters only college & the latest stand-alone that deserves 6 stars, IMHO! … I was glued to my seat not wanting to stop & read it in record time. Always a fresh storyline in PNR with romance & some suspense, larger than life characters, like the H/h Jackson & Tobi, that jump to life with witty dialogue! Plus, great attention to detail that will pull readers right into the book! Even tho I always volunteer to read this author’s books, I have bought many of her previous kindle books in the past whenever I was able to. So yes, these are my honest feelings without any outside influences & I highly recommend this & any of her books to adult fans of fiction and now I can’t wait for more, but I will 😉
