Nothing is more dangerous than my past… Reverse Harem Fantasy Romance that contains M/M and hot, consensual scenes that are for 18+ only. In this world, even the rebels aren’t free.
Well, here we are at the end of the Wickedly Charmed Series. I always love the Rebel books that Rosemary creates and being able to see how each book somewhat plays off of the others that she has already written. We see small visits or hints at previous characters and see the changes that each group of characters has brought to the world to free or better the lives of those considered rebels by those around them. While the world around Rebel Academy has been slowly changing, the rebels inside the walls are still treated poorly and forced to follow rules that no longer apply. Magenta has been one of my favorite main characters out of all of the Rebel books so far. She has such a heartbreaking story and I adored seeing how her sweetness and capability to love and protect those around her brought together such a varied group of misfits, those who were tossed aside just because their puzzle pieces didn’t fit seamlessly along with all of the surrounding pieces. This final book had so much excitement to it with the Dragon Tournament happening but still had all the romance and feelings that Rosemary’s books are known for. I think one of the things I was most excited about in this book was getting to dive more into Midnight’s backstory and how he ended up at Rebel Academy. His character wasn’t always in the spotlight in the previous books but was still unforgettable to me. Overall, I’m very happy with how everything played out in this final book!

The final book in this series and its save the best till last. Magenta (FMC) has to break the curse she put on the Academy. She also gains more friends/allies in this book. Book 3 doesnt disappoint with loads of action, tension as well as plenty of steam too. My favourite was Fox (as it was throughout the series) but i loved how they all rallied around each other like a family. Looking out for one another. It was an absolutely cracking ending and i loved every minute reading it

What a fantastic way to conclude the wickedly charmed series. This was a perfect end to the journey we have all been on with Magenta and her harem. Curse is packed with adventure and steam with a whole lot of romance.
I feel bittersweet writing this review as I’m sad this is the last book of this series, but I am so happy in how everything ended. Rosemary has delivered a wonderful story with curse and I am so excited to see what she has in store for us next.
If you haven’t started this series, then now’s your chance. You heard me stop reading this review and start reading the series! …But If you have read the rest of Wickedly Charmed, then rest assured you won’t be disappointed with this one. Go on dive right in!

“I was more than the Curse corrupting me inside. I was a Fallen warrior. If I could only prove it.” – Midnight
Marked as the Cursed One, Midnight had fought his entire life to be accepted, to be one of the Elite: the First Fallen. Yet, despite his best efforts, he failed. He was the Cursed One…. When Lucifer arrives to pass judgment, Midnight fears, yet yearns, for his sentence of death…
“Lucifer tutted, as he dragged me closer. His breath was hot against my ear. “Don’t pout , beautiful . Some serve me on the battlefield or in bed. You’ll serve me by escaping your past. If you try hard enough, you’ll discover freedom within your prison. One of us at least can have that, hmm?” When he drew back, his expression was flat and distant like he was lost in his own painful past. With desperate daring, I wrapped my wings around him, and his gaze softened. “Oh, I wish that I could keep you. When you’re in the light and away from…” He cast a dangerous glance at Scalds, “… the dark of the Under World, you’ll learn that you were never anything but blessed.”” – Lucifer
“I don’t deserve love. I was born to obey. I’m nothing but a curse.” – Midnight
Magenta and her lovers face insurmountable odds, yet still they persevere…. Fox’s life is on the line and Magenta is determined to free her shimage… To free Midnight and the princes… To free all of them…
Another amazing, captivating tale from the incomparable Rosemary A. Johns! Her elegant turn of phrase, delicate as a butterfly’s breath yet as sharp as obsidian captivates and enthralls! If you enjoy passion and romance, a story that’s sensual yet tasteful, you’ll devour Curse! It will leave your soul replete; it is a true masterpiece!

This is the final book in Rebel Academy, and what an epic conclusion!!! This is a sexy ride from beginning to end. Vampires, succubus, shifters, witches, Fae and every one of them are drop dead sexy. Who could choose just one?? Why choose at all? Magenta’s dark magic created the Rebel Academy, which has perpetual winter and is a prison for sexy hot bad boys. Magenta and her sexy, hot Immortal lovers have to survive the Dragon Tournaments. This will be a fight, that they may not win. This author never fails to pull out all the stops. She always takes you on the ride of your life. Her characters are so sexy and protective I’m surprised I don’t burn my fingers flipping pages. You will want a few of these sexy as sin Immortals for your very own. I know I do!!!!

ONE SPECTACULAR FINALE
Busting bloomers! Rosemary unleashes one turbulent, earthquaking tilt-a-whirl, balancing a razors edge with one helluva rollercoaster thrill ride through the gates of hell backwards, grabbing your attention from the start and holding you prisoner until the end, skyrocketing this hot little number to staggering heights. Shenanigans and havoc descend in a tempest of skillful manipulations and cunning strategem, shattered perimeters and crashed barriers solidify as limitations are amplified and tested, secrets confessed, revelations unmasked and promises made, reaching deep for every ounce of strength in a fierce surge of preservation and determination, putting our characters through their paces, testing them in ways they could have never imagined, blasting this hot little number to life spectacularly. The attraction and chemistry ignites with such intoxicating intensity and boundless emotions, showcases the thrilling electricity and infinite affection, drawing our characters closer, binding them to one another perfectly. The characters, banter, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits add depth and diversity, transforming into amazing personalities. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating a majestic backdrop that’s so rich and lively it feels as though you’re part of the story instead of on the sidelines, feeling everything the characters feel. Phenomenal job Rosemary, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.

“… Magenta had shown me that I wasn’t nobody and I could save myself,…”
It all comes down to the Dragon Tournament, and there’s a very good chance that our beloved crew won’t succeed. The repercussions for failing are high, and the results could be devastating. I absolutely love that one semi-alive witch could bring so many people together that have suffered at the hands of the Academy. Through the course of this series, we grow so fond of each of the characters, and while Fox is probably my most favorite, they all have fun and loving personalities. There’s something to love about each of them.
If this book left me wanting for anything, it was that I didn’t get the closure I wanted with Marcus. And if I truly hope that Rosemary is working on something for the dragons, because I am not ready to let them go. This was a fantastic ending to the trilogy. Everything from the characters to the storyline is addicting. Once you start reading, you don’t want to put it down.

Rebel Academy: Curse is Book 3 of the Wickedly Charmed series by Rosemary A. Johns. In typical fashion, Rosemary takes us on a fast paced, action packed, page turning thrill ride and brings this last in series to an unforgettable conclusion. Magenta and her boys need to break the curse if they want to be free of the academy and Magenta is determined to do what it takes to free Fox, Midnight, the princes … To Free Them All. I highly recommend this book/series. It is one best read when you have plenty of time to savor this phenomenal book/series – it is one not to be missed. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary review.

In the third and final installment of Rebel Academy, everything is on the line for Magenta and her rebels. The Princes are now seeking to join with the Immortals and others want to gain freedom from the Academy. Those in charge keep underestimating the witch Magenta was and is. Can they defeat Demelza and the others? Can they save Fox and Ezekiel? What about Robin? Can she save him as well, still? This is an excellent ending for the Rebel Academy series! Rosemary Johns pulled out all the stops on this wicked finale~ She keeps managing to bring about new surprises~ I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.
