Sometimes, I wondered if he was real. Our time together was short, but it left a lasting impression on me. I’m older now. Wiser, too. Five years have passed, and I still can’t get him off my mind. Hunter was cruel, angry, and protective. I learned his secrets and he fled. The day he left, I vowed to find him. I guess now I have an obsession of my own: Track down Hunter Hammond and make him mine.
Five long years have passed, but now it’s time to find him, to ask the burning questions and to listen to his truth.
The stalker and his pretty debt return in the concluding part of this amazing confession duet.
We found out in book one how he gained the title of her stalker, and how he watched her from afar, until he was reeled in.
This book brings to the table less of his stalker tendencies, and more of his rugged and wild side.
He’s still downright delicious though, even upto his eyes in horse poop!
It’s Roe’s turn to be the stalker, as she hunts to find the man of shadows who stole her heart.
Her grit and determination is nothing short of admirable. She’s really grown in the time that has passed between then and now.
If you have read the first book in this duet “A lovely obsession” then you will be dying to read this, to know everything, much like I was!
And I can honestly say you will not be dissapointed in the answers found.
Another action packed, mouth watering, time stealing read and a half by Coralee June that is simply out of this world, and a complete must read.
This is a five star duet from start to finish, it’s as simple as that!
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
The second half of the Debt of Passion Duet is finally here and it was everything I wanted it to be and more! CoraLee did it again with her emotionally charged angst and hate/love that just begs you to keep going and keep reading. You can’t put it down, even if you wanted to.
Roe and Hunter are still as captivating as they were in the first book, which left us hanging without really being a full on cliffhanger. You feel like you didn’t get what you wanted from it and have to know more. And A Lovely Confession delivers. I can’t give anything away because this is a new release, but if you enjoyed the first book… you’ll LOVE this one.
CoraLee’s writing is so in depth that you feel every single moment, every emotion, every detail is etched so perfectly together that you feel like you are right there.
There were a few times where I was kind of lost in what was happening. It wasn’t the lack of details, but instead the fast-paced motion of some of the scenes. It felt a little too fast for me, but not so much that it took away from the story. I just felt out of place for a minute. I did re-read the scene a second time and it helped bring me back into the scene. I don’t feel like this took away from the story at all, just a personal thing.
All in all, every scene was put together in away that had you feeling every emotion. You laughed, you cried, you smiled… you feel every single thing that is thrown out at you. The emotions packed into each and every scene punch you in the gut and have you on your knees, begging for things to work out the way they are supposed to.
Four stars for this emotionally charged angsty romance that has you on the edge of your seat as you fight for Roe and Hunter.
Where do I even begin?? I guess I’ll start by mentioning that the Lovely duet is the best multi-book series I’ve read this year.
Immediately after turning the last page of the first book, I was searching for information about the release of Confession. I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy of this book and devoured it in one sitting (who needs sleep??). This second part of Hunter and Roe’s story did not disappoint! With a lifetime of their lives being entwined, spending years apart only seemed to delay the inevitable collision that only Hunter and Roe could survive. This book and series has a bit of everything to make it a solid five-star read— darkness, action, murder, an epic love, unique friendships and a stalker assassin hotter than hades. Grab this duet and settle in for one wild ride!
A Lovely Confession is the second and final book in the Debt of Passion Duet. Roe and Hunter story continues. Hunter left in book 1 and he leaves her in a bad way in book 1. Fast forward 5 years later. Roe still thinks of Hunter all the time and she decides it’s time to find him. She goes to Gavriel (from Sunshine & Bullets) for help.
BTW I always love it when characters show up from other series.
Of course she finds Hunter but how does she bring him back to her. I guess you will have to read this series! You do need to read book 1 first!
I do love reading CoraLee June’s books! She brings in suspense, romance & sex together. What that brings is I can’t put this book down until I finish it, experience. Meaning I was up until after 1 am reading this book!
Hunter. Roe. Hunter and Roe.
One of my absolute favorite couples from CoraLee June, and that’s saying something. I also don’t think I’d love them as much if someone else had breathed them into existence. I think CJ was meant to do that with them, meant to create them and give them life.
This duet is thrilling, intoxicating and demanding. It hurts. It lashes out and strikes. But it also soothes and encourages and loves. Oh gosh, the love. Sometimes it can be pure, sometimes toxic, but it is always them. Always a Pretty Debt and her Stalker.
If I thought CoraLee June had brought her A-game with ALO, then man did she bring her A+ game with extra credit with A Lovely Confession. You can feel how she poured herself into this one and it payed off in spades. This book is insanely good, it was everything I hoped for and more. And the poetry, wow. Yes. I’m just in awe.
I loved getting to dive back into the world of the Bullets, they all own pieces of my heart. Hunter and Roe now, too. What an incredibly special world. I never want to leave.
This duet is just so, so special. It’s going to stay with me and I’m absolutely okay with that.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

“I was a strong independent woman, but I knew my limits. I needed Hunter Hammond.”
A Lovely Confession by Coralee June is a book two of a duet that takes place in the Bullets universe.
This story picks up five years later after a Lovely Obsession. Hunter has disappeared from Roe’s life completely without a trace. Haunted everyday by her stalker, Roe is bound and determined to find Hunter.
Hunter has been living the past five years in a remote town in the middle of nowhere. Seemingly enjoying his simple life, he’s still haunted by the one girl he had to let go.
Through sneaky tactics, Roe develops a plan to reach out to the man that haunts her dreams and will do whatever it takes to find him, even if it means meeting with Gavriel Moretti.
Coralee delivers another fantastic story that’ll leave readers very happy but always salivating for more! I love that I get so attached to her characters and never want their stories to end, it shows true craft of writing and storytelling.
The chemistry between Hunter and Roe is palpable and the emotions their strained relationship evokes through the story is at times beautifully heartbreaking.
“Having one another didn’t make our obsession end, it made it bloom.”
Another 5 star read.
