Allowing any change into my life could put my goals and dreams in jeopardy, and I’ve worked too hard and too long for them.

Honestly, ‘Fresh Meet’was totally not what I expected and I absolutely enjoyed every second I spent reading Jasmin’s words! She never fails to get me laughing, hooting and pouting all in one sitting!
Jace and Em are a pair that I didn’t expect to love so much, and I adore both of them, not to forget Tanner, he’s the star for me.
This novel packs in humor, warmth, heat strength and a whole lot of love.
Undeniably one of my favorites from Jasmin!
Oh my, this book gave me all the feels. Jace and Em pull you in the minute the meet. Jace is an Olympic swimmer and his life has been flipped upside down. Then we meet Em, who will go above and beyond to make the day of a child. This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster and not be able to put this book down. Me and Jace have a connection and that slow burn pulls you in waiting to see if they give in or not. What will happen? Read this book and find out.
4.5 Warm, Fuzzy Stars!
This one left me smiling. I loved the characters and the storyline, Em’s quirkiness and Jace’s focus, but most of all I LOVED Tanner. This one makes you laugh through the simple trials of raising a toddler, embrace the loyalty of family and fall in love with an extended family of loyal friends.
I really enjoyed this first book in the Kings of the Water series and I am definitely looking forward to more from this tight-knit group of guys, especially Hunter!
Recommended!!!
A sweet romance that has lol moments and lots of heat!
Love Em and Jace! Omg Tanner is the cutest baby. I adored this story so much. Em is a special kid of girl I just loved her character and Jace is so…. MANLY yes that’s it. Lol I’m in love with their love.
The story flowed with ease and the build on the characters was perfect. I love Jasmin’s books. She always writes these stories that keeps me turning those pages. I can never put them down, there’s always something that gets me all giddy. I can’t help but fall in love with her books.
This was just another example of why I get so excited when she has another book coming out, I can’t help but get excited to dive in. I’m never disappointed.
Rate: 4/ 5 stars
I haven’t read many sports romances where the sport is swimming so I was super excited to dive into this book. The single parent/nanny aspect only made me want to read it more. It was an adorable read. I completely fell in love with Tanner right away. All the moments between him and Millie were adorable and getting to see him and Jace building that father son bond oh my goodness it was adorable and so heartwarming. Tanner really bought Millie and Jace together and all the moments they all spent together had me swooning. They make such an adorable little family.
Millie is a super unique character who you will root for from the beginning and Jace is a hot new single dad getting used to being a father and a whole new life schedule. Things are bound to heat up when they’re hot for each other and their dreams get in the way of their relationship.
Fresh Meet is fun, super cute and an amazing start to a new series that I know I’ll really adore. I can’t wait for the other swimmers to get their books. I need Hunter’s book asap. If you’re looking for a sweet, heartwarming read, look no further. This single dad and his special nanny will steal your heart while they are falling in love with each other and an adorable two year old boy.
Omg! I love this book. It is refreshing and sweet. Jasmin Miller never fails me when I am looking forward to sweet, loveable characters, feel good storyline romance. Em and Jase captures my heart. They have great chemistry and their compatibility jumps off the pages. I really enjoyed this book and recommend to readers looking for a feel good Single dad romance!
You had me at sports romance… I’ll admit it up front that I’m an unashamed sports romance book whore. I’m also in love with Jasmin Miller, so when I saw this book I immediately signed up for it. I was a little hesitant in the single dad aspect, as kids in books tend to annoy me. I have enough kids IRL and books are my escape, ok? Anywho, I was pleasantly surprised with Fresh Meet and loved everything about it! Jace is a 28 year old Olympic swimmer who realizes he is a dad when 2 year old Tanner comes into his life suddenly. He hires 24 year old Emilia to help him as a nanny and she quickly captures the hearts of both Atwood boys. This was a sweet and charming slow burn romance with a HEA. It is part of the Kings of the Water series but can be read as a stand alone. I am thrilled with the start of this new series and very much look forward to the next book in the series, Secret Plunge!

chase that dream like the devil’s right on your heels because you deserve it. You deserve the world
This story was so incredibly sweet and heart warming. Jace lives, eat and breathes swimming currently focused on competing at the Olympics. What he is not expecting is to become the sole provider for a son, 2 and a half year old Tanner, he didn’t even know he had
After losing her job working as performer on a popular childrens tv program Emilia (Millie) applies for a job as a nanny. Millie has always loved working with kids and is great at it even though her family has never approved of her profession or taken in seriously
Tanner, sweet dear Tanner he really stole the show here. I loved seeing both Jace and Millie’s interactions with him and how incredibly patient and caring they both were. Through their growing bond with Tanner you see these two become closer to each other aswell. Their story was adorable and deliciously slow burn. I loved how supportive Jace was and how even though he has a busy and time consuming lifestyle you could really tell how hard he was trying to adjust to his new normal. Millie had insecurities stemming from a less than stellar upbringing and constantly feeling like she would never be enough. Watching her break down some of those walls and realise that deep down she is stronger than she thinks was a beautiful journey
I really enjoyed this story and find Jasmin’s writing so easy to get lost in. I loved a lot of the side characters including Jace’s mother and his friends and Millie’s best friend. I love postive female friendships in stories and Jasmin always manages to showcase these nicely. I only wish there would have been a scene where Jace teaches Tanner how to swim as I feel like that would have been such a beautiful thing to experience
Wow! Just wow!
Loved loved loved this new series!
This book was amazing!
The new characters are absolutely beautiful, exactly what I love in a Story!
First, the cover! One of my favorites so far, and I definitely will devour the next books!
Emilia and Jace are sweet separately, but when they are together they’re like fire! I loved their relationship, their connection was well written I can’t stop thinking about them especially after that epilogue… need more of this gang! Can’t wait for the rest of the series!
Go grab your copy!
I loved this one!
This is my first story by Jasmin Miller and it did not disappoint. The blurb sounded interesting and featured my favorite troupe – a single parent so I figured why not give it a shot.
Jace finds out he is a father when his son’s mother passes suddenly and a lady knocks on his door. This is his son who he knew nothing about. Yikes! He hires Em to be his son’s nanny. This is after his son responds wells to her and after he thinks she looks crazy the way she is dressed.
This is not a love at first sight story.
Kind of a slow burn, but quicker.
Has a great HEA and will make you feel all the feels!
You’ll definitely enjoy this one!

Fresh Meet is a single dad romance with a hot romance that slowly burns brighter throughout the book. Millie is a quirky, child-loving adult who struggles with acceptance and love. She makes the perfect nanny for little Tanner. Jace is an Olympic hotty who is thrust into a new lifestyle. As the story unfolds, you get see Millie unwrap and discover his heart of gold. Both characters are loveable. I wish Millie could have been more assertive but loved her easy-going personality. This is a sweet love story and a quick, enjoyable read.

Words can’t even begin to describe how much I loved this story. From the cover to the story to the characters, I’m in love with it all.
Jace Atwood’s main focus is the Olympics and becoming the most decorated swimmer, that is until an unexpected surprise shows up at his door and forever changes his life. Emilia is in need of a job, so when the opportunity to become a nanny comes available, Emilia takes the opportunity. What she doesn’t expect is the gorgeous single father and most adorable little boy.
Tanner completely stole my heart. That little boy is adorable! Seriously, you can’t read this and not completely fall head over heels for him. Emilia’s instant connection with him and his connection with Millie was beautiful and it only became stronger as the story progressed. Tanner and Jace had a rough start, but watching Jace become more comfortable with his new role and the new love and focus in his life was amazing. Plus, those adorable father/son moments (queue the heart eyes).
Jace and Millie’s relationship started out slow, but there is chemistry and sparks eventually fly! I love how supportive Jace is of Millie, especially when it comes to her family. Though, he wasn’t perfect and made a few mistakes. Millie’s support of Jace and his career is also great. She quickly becomes a fixture of his life.
Fresh Meet will have you swooning from the very first page. It is a MUST READ!
Jasmin Miller, where have you been all my book loving life???? I don’t even know where to begin. This book is one hell of an incredible read. “Fresh Meet” is so many things and all of them good.
It’s a sexy sports romance featuring Jace, a sexy as sin olympic swimmer. His life evolves around his training and little else until the night that changes everything. Discovering he is a father to a baby boy named Tanner will forever change his life in ways he cannot even begin to imagine. Tanner is a beautiful toddler, sweet, affectionate and utterly adorable and he soon becomes the center of his dad’s world. Millie is an incredibly beautiful person, inside and out. She has a heart of gold and loves working with children. Let go, from a job she loves and that has garnered her a small fanbase of online admirers, Millie decides to apply for a position as a nanny.
It becomes an incredibly sexy, slow burn, forbidden romance. Jace hires Millie as his son’s nanny when it becomes apparent how gifted she is with children. Tanner adores his new nanny and forces his father to fall under her spell too. Jace is unable to resist the beauty that is Millie and the love that she exudes for his son. Tanner brings them together but their attraction to one another takes it to another level.
It’s more than a love story. This book draws attention to so many important issues that are unexpected in a contemporary romance read but in this book are handled with intelligence and sensitivity.
It’s a sexy and satisfying happily ever after read that will leave you with a smile on your face, a sigh in your throat and sparkle in your eyes.
TBR this incredible book and enjoy. (I read an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.)
RATING 4.5 STARS
Fresh Meet is book one in the brand new series, Kings of the Water, by Jasmin Miller. This is a single father, sports romance and it is SUCH a lovely story.
Jace Atwood is twenty eight years old and is a competitive professional swimmer. His life is a very strict regiment of training and sleeping. He only does casual relationships. He doesn’t have time for anything more. But his life changes drastically when he discovers that he has a two and a half year old son, a son that is now motherless. Jace finds himself trying to learn how to be a father while keeping up his training. He needs a nanny. That’s how Emilia came into his life.
Emilia (Millie) Davis is twenty four years old and has recently lost her job. Her dream job is to work for a popular children’s program but in the interim, she needs a job. She loves children and when she is told that a single dad needs a nanny, it’s perfect for her.
Emilia’s connection to little Tanner is immediate. She’s just what Jace needed. She seems to understand him instantly and the little guy loves her. Jace and Emilia’s relationship was boss and employee at first, then slowly progressed to friends and more. The attraction between them slowly grew but both were reluctant to cross that invisible line between them. But as the trust grew between them, they couldn’t deny their feelings.
“He makes me feel wanted…like I’m enough. It’s simple, yet powerful.”
Emilia has never been enough to her family, the people that are supposed to be the most supportive. So she finds unexpected support and gains confidence with Jace. Jace, whose life has always been about his goals only, suddenly finds that his heart has expanded to find room not only for a son he didn’t know existed, but for a woman who has become so important to him. But can he keep up his strict training and achieve his goals while trying to be both a good father to Tanner and a partner to Emilia? Emilia’s life is still in transition, she has dreams of her own. Will it be possible for both of these two to reach their goals while pursuing what is developing between them?
Let’s not forget that Jace had no experience at all with children. The love he felt for his son was immediate, as was the need to protect him. Emilia was a great teacher to help him adapt. I loved how realistic his crash course was in having a toddler in the house, all of the bodily fluids involved, child sickness, the worry.
I enjoyed this so much. I loved the way things developed between them. It was natural and slow and I loved the way that Jace made sure that nothing was rushed. I’m also a huge fan of epilogues and this one was the icing on the cake. It left me feeling so happy for the way their lives have developed. I can’t end this review without mentioning the gorgeous cover for this book. Now that I’ve read it, I have to say that it is even more perfect.

WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO SAY EXCEPT THAT THIS BOOK WAS SWEET AS FUCK?! THIS BOOK WAS EXACTLY LIKE DOWN TOO DEEP AND OH BOY HOW LONG I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMETHING SIMILAR.
If the capital letters didn’t tell you how much I love this book then biss, I don’t know what to say.
I love single parents books, I crave them for some reason. If you add athletes, sure as hell you got me. It’s the first book I read that isn’t about football or hockey and I found it fresh (ops, wasn’t on purpose). I try to make this review as spoiler-free as possible but to be honest, I don’t really know if there’re spoilers to tell.
As soon as I started this book, I knew for sure the hero wasn’t some kind of arrogant athletes. And again, that was refreshing (sorry). I love how he handled the whole I-turn-dad-overnight situation and was trying his best to be the best dad Tanner could have. He even knew what he was doing wrong and corrected himself right away not only toward his son but also toward Emilia.
Emilia, on the other hand, was the kind of heroine I love. She’s crazy, a bit egocentric but so selfless. She has so much love to give and she knows how to give it. Her love for children was so sweet and it made my heart melted. When I read the first scene between Emilia and Tanner, I already knew I was doomed because that kid got my heart in the palm of his tinny hand.
*Sigh*
In the beginning, you don’t really feel the attraction between the MCs because it was rather centered on Tanner. And to be honest, I think that was a good idea. The romance was really slow, not that I complain. Usually, I don’t like when it’s too slow but here, I liked that the author didn’t rush the relationship between the MC and rather slowly built it. It felt like everything was coming into place at the right time, right moment.
The side characters were so interesting, especially Hunter and Noah. And boy, they better get their books or I’ll riot. For sure I’ll read more of Jasmin Miller because her writing was so addictive.

Absolutely stunning story. I’m at a loss for words. This story was beyond what I thought. When you get into a book and can picture it on your mind like it’s happening in front of you, you k ow the story has captivated you. The love between these two characters, the real life problems just makes it so believable . Do not miss out on this heart warming story

Fresh Meet is such a breathtaking, swoon worthy, tug on your heart strings story that is unforgettable. Everyone needs to read this book for the race, the ladybug, the tattoos and the tutu alone. Then there is Tanner, his adorable son, who I wish could be mine. Em and Jace have amazing chemistry and I could not get enough of them. They did make me crazy when all hell broke loose, but the angst made their connection even stronger. Fresh Meet took my heart on a tidal wave and it was a fantastic ride I didn’t want to end.

Not only was this cover lickable but this story is delicious. The heat and steamy level was off the charts with all the buildup. It will take you through so many emotions and leave you with sadness that the story is. over But, it ended with a HEA that was the greatest. There was so much heart in this book with each character dealing with so many trials. I loved that Jasmin Miller took a trial and turned it around to show that you can achieve your hearts desire if you keep striving for the goal. Stand up for yourself and don’t let other people’s negativity influence you. I loved it. She hit this out of the ballpark!
