She was abducted in the middle of the night…
Don’t scream. Don’t scream. Don’t scream.
Jayda doesn’t need to hear that.
And it makes Daisy cry.
But a scream is burning in my chest as they haul me to “the chair.”
My tears mean nothing.
My soft begging is pointless.
They grab my arms and legs and strap me down and put that damn wand to my head… the one that reaches inside my mind and starts … mind and starts tearing it apart…
We escaped that nightmare—Jayda, Daisy and me—and now I just want my life back to normal. Forget those crazy aliens with their pointed ears. Forget all the screams. But as soon as I step on the set—my big chance as a Guest Star in a new medical drama—all of it comes rushing back. If it weren’t for that hot new Production Assistant, I’d probably be in a psych ward by now.
The Universe is finally giving me a break.
Grace is desperate to put her life back together. Theo will do anything to keep her safe and help her heal… except tell her who he really is. And how he’s the reason she was taken in the first place.
My Dragon Bodyguard is a steamy dragon shifter romance that’ll heat up the sheets with love and warm your heart with dragonfire.

This is a fun series, very enjoyable, and an interesting viewpoint.
Wow! I have always loved Alisa Woods’ ability to spin a story that will take you for the ride of your life, and this book certainly doesn’t disappoint! Her characters are vibrant, strong and have enough spunk to keep you on the edge. Her tales are paced “just right”, with lots of intrigue, action and of course, love and hurt.
In this book, we have the pleasure of meeting Grace and Theo, as they take the journey of discovering a love like no other. A bond that, once connected, will never be broken. After being rescued from the Vardigah, Grace has had a hard time adjusting. Never quite sure if what she experienced at the hands of the evil creatures was even true or simply a living nightmare, she tries desperately to “get back into her life”. But the nightmares are true real, and she simply can’t shake it off. Then there’s Theo. The most gorgeous specimen of the male species she has ever had the pleasure of laying eyes on. When he’s near, he’s like her very own personal Prozac. Calming, soothing.
Theo knows he has to be patient. After rescuing his soul-mate from the Vardigah, he knows he has to tread lightly. Only one problem….he doesn’t want a mate. What about his career?
Will these two make it through the hurdles and finally find peace and love?
Absolutely spellbinding. You won’t regret reading this book! Looking forward to Ree and Jayda’s story.
I was gifted a copy of this book and am voluntarily giving my honest opinion.
I have been enjoying the series. The storyline is about dragon shifters who are dying out without their mates. They have to test a lot of women to find them and their enemies try to locate them first.
When one woman is rescued from their enemies, her mate is not so eager at first to claim her and rush into children. She is confused about the events but wants another start at life.
It is different from the others where the dragon shifters were eager to claim their mate and found it hard to wait. I liked that the author chose a different path for these two to keep it interesting.
I really wanted him to realize just what a blessing she could be. She went thru so much and tries so hard. I am looking forward to the next one.
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.
This is a great series and I especially loved this book. What an interesting idea, a shifter who doesnt want to be with his fated one. It adds lots of angst to the story. There is also danger and lots of steamy scenes.
What Nightmares Are Made Of
This book is about the first of the three women taken by the enemies of the dragons. Getting to know Grace after she was returned to her was life was interesting.
Theo by dragon standards was a young one to have found his mate.
How do you reconcile your dreams with reality? Sometimes something has to give? Can they make the right choices to better their lives?
Looking forward to the next book in this collection.
Well worth reading!
