In the confines of Oberon Reformatory, it’s often easy to do the wrong things for the right reasons.I’ve done it. Somehow, I’ve convinced Echo Oberon that I respect and admire him, and that I am grateful for his offer to tutor me. And that I humbly accept his magnanimous proposal. But just when everything seems to be going exactly to plan, the whole thing blows up in my face. Echo is not as … in my face. Echo is not as susceptible to my false admiration as I thought, and somehow coerces me into revealing the true extent of my powers—which gets me sent straight into solitary confinement.
When my stint in solitary is over, everything has changed. I know what I have to do.
Alienate my new friends. Prove to Echo Oberon I have no one and nothing. Get back in his good graces and solve this mystery by myself, so no one else has to suffer.
Especially Asher York. Despite my attempts to keep my distance, he’s worked his way into my heart—which means he’d be the first one to get hurt if this whole plan goes south. And I care enough about him to push him away before that happens.
With words I can’t take back, I wound those closest to me and sever all ties.
But in the end, the one who takes the most damage is me.

Oberon Reformatory Book Two: Second Transgression by Wendi Wilson is an awesome story to read. This is book number two in this awesome series that I am hooked and can not wait to read the rest of the awesome series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading teen and young adult stories.
I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
Oberon Reformatory Book Two: Second Transgression continues on where book one left off and doesn’t let go until you’ve reached the end and you’re yelling “give me more”.
In book two, Rory continues working on getting closer to Echo to discover his plans by getting him to trust her, but he proves to be a bigger adversary than she thought. Now she has to decide just how far she’s willing to go to get to the truth. With jaw-dropping moments, and clues to uncover, I couldn’t put this book down until I reached the last page. And with that ending—gah!—all I can say is things are going to get interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and cannot wait for book 3.
Book two picks up without missing a beat. This story will draw you in and won’t let you go. The more Rory tries to figure out what is going on, the more confused she becomes. The punishment just doesn’t fit the crimes. What is so special about her and the rest of the Con Crew.
This book has more mystery and intrigue and will have you turning the pages to figure out what is going on
Rory has had to face some rash choices in her effort to discover Echo´s plans but she is getting there. Her love story, the friedship and that surprising twist at the end of the book…. Need book three soon
I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
WOW I read this book in one sitting, I just couldn’t put it down it’s addictive.
We are starting to learn more about what it is that Echo Oberon is planning at the reformatory, and why he is gathering powerful fae together in one place and training them
But at what cost to Rory and her friend’s??
I can’t wait for the final instalment of this trilogy.
Wendi L. Wilson is a great author who has carried the Oberon series on with the daughters of the original characters from the first series, which I would also recommend
I loved this book!! I started it and couldn’t put it down until I finished it!
Wendi is one of those authors who weaves a wonderful story that captivate the readers almost from the start. They are stories that you WANT to read because you love the story that is being told! The characters become your friends and you want to read about their experiences and feel you are there watching the action take place.
I was enchanted by the Oberon Academy series which deals with how Rorie (Aurora) parents met. This series weaves the same magical spell on me that the first series did and I highly recommend it to young adult and adult readers to read if you want a book that you will love the story and the characters therein.
I know if you give Wendi a read you will find an author you will not want to give up. She will become a favorite of yours as she is to me and you will tell your friends to read her series!
Oberon Academy tells the story of Rorie’s parents, how they met and the adventures they had and Oberon Reformatory tells the story of their strong-minded daughter who just wanted to experience life as a normal person and not as the future queen of the faerie realms.
The stories are well written which always cast a magical spell on me as I start them. Reading is pure joy and a pleasure when you read Wendi’s books! I finished this in one sitting because I COULD NOT stop reading it! I just flat out loved the story and I am both anxiously and sad at waiting for the final book to be released because once again I’ll be saying good bye to friends I have come to know and love. However, the beauty of books is I can revisit these series whenever I want-and I will return I can guarantee that-to recapture the magical spell that Wendi weaves in her stories!
Please do yourself a big favor and pick up one or both of these series today. I am confident that you will be enthralled with them every bit as much as me. You also will not want to put the book down because you want to know what happens next!! When you finish the books you’ll tell your friends because you want them to experience for themselves what you felt!
I salute you Wendi on the magic you have woven into these two series. Where we are home-bound due to the pandemic these series are just what the doctor ordered to give you hope for the future! If only our “leaders” would actually work together to solve a problem instead of adding their “pork” mandates into a bill like we just witnessed again with this pandemic! I guess that is just pie in the sky but it’s nice to read about people who have no alternative motivations other than to right wrongs and bring people together like it should be in the “real” world we live in!
