What comes after His Banana? Technically, that would be me.Before you assume I’m a potassium sucking harlot,Let me explain… people could create. Practically dripping with so much perfection you could choke on it.
Then again, I was almost certain he was certifiably insane.
Within a few minutes of meeting him, he was already posing as a nude model for my clay sculpture class in a failed attempt to expose himself to me.
So when he handed me a banana, it was almost normal by comparison.
And after his banana found its way into my mouth, well… I wish I could say that was where the saga of Miles Chamberson and I ended.
Miles
I prefer to start every potential relationship with an oddly phallic, edible object.
Why, you ask? It’s simple.
Watch any woman with a suggestive object and prepare to unlock the secrets of the female psyche.
Does she favor it with a secretive little smile? Nymphomaniac. Does she flinch back, only to guiltily grab it a moment later? Cautious, but wild once she opens up. Does she throw it back at your head and score a direct hit, concussing you for two weeks? Softball player.
Or, does she pick it up and devour it, inch by inch? Does she slide that bad boy into the hatch and relish every moment of it? If she does, you have yourself a keeper.
The recipient of my latest banana was the latter, but there was one glaring problem.
Commitment and I had a troubled past. And now my old man, Bruce Chamberson, says there’s only one way I’ll earn my rightful spot in the family business. I’ve got to show him I can stick with something “for once”.
Lucky for me, I’ve got just the girl in mind.

I absolutely loved this book! I think it might be my favorite one in the series so far! Miles and Rey are everything! Miles reminded me so much of William and the back and forth with Grammy was hysterical. Rey started out using Miles to try and get an internship by writing a paper about him but soon realized the paper wasn’t more important than he was. Miles was also using her to try and prove to his dad that he could stick with something. They both realized their reasons for being together initially were no longer valid and they were in love with each other. The combination of humor, sweetness and hot is absolutely perfect! I loved this book!

This was a funny, light book that was easy to read. I especially loved seeing the characters from her other books (mainly William and Bruce) again. I found Miles to be a little weird which was to be expected since he’s Bruce’s son LOL I liked the heroine but Miles was the one who held my attention. I received an advanced reader copy of this book. I don’t personally know this author so I feel my review is objective and based solely on my opinion.

I was so excited to see that this author decided to return to her Objects of Attraction world with this spin-off series. If you enjoy zany, over-the-top humor, crazy, unique characters, a boatload of innuendo, some cotton candy cute sweetness and a lot of heart, you really need to check out this book and the above mentioned series. These are reads that will definitely garner you strange looks as the laugh-out-loud moments overwhelm you regardless of where you are. This book focuses on Miles, the son of Bruce and Natasha from the book, His Banana and Rey. I thought that these two were simply adorable together and I loved their chemistry and banter. These two are opposites in many ways but they are both struggling to be who they want to be and that was very appealing to me. I loved getting a little bit more from favorite characters from the original series. I loved this book. It was delightfully fun!
Banana Sings!
Loved this hilarious storyline and the two main characters, Rey and Miles. They were so perfect for each other. Their supporting cast of characters were so unique especially Grammy and Uncle William. Their adventures brought them closer to question their lives in relationship to each other in such a short period of time. Thankfully, there were the Miles Mottos that helped. In fact they were so influential that we end up with Rey Mottos as well.
This storyline flowed so well that it was hard to put down at any point. So, I’m definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. Peace.

Starving psychology student Rey North needs to ace her project to win a prestigious internship and has no time for guys. That is, until she meets the gorgeous but weird Miles Chamberson and decides to turn him into the star attraction of her project. Rey plans to get what she needs to write her paper, then cut Miles loose but what happens when Rey realises she likes his particular brand of weird?
After His Banana is a funny, drama-filled and sweet rom com that you won’t be able to put down
This story is a new favorite of mine. It had me laughing from the get-go and you cannot put the book down once you start. Granny is BACK! I love her and Uncle William is too much… This story is about Rey and Miles. Miles meets Rey when she walks into the women’s restroom and Miles is walking out. They have words and then Miles comes up with an idea of being the model for her clay class. OMG – this was hilarious, but this is where the banana test comes in to play. I love it. Rey is a psychology student who is trying to do her best to get into an internship that will pay well that she could help her little sister, Penny out. Penny is a riot as well – got to love the kid! Luna is Rey’s best friend or only friend and sets Rey up with honesty! Like I said this book with have you laughing from the beginning until the end. There is a lot of innuendos in this book like in all the other books, but OMG this book takes the cake and crumbs… I won’t give out the story to you, but only state that you will not be disappointed.

This book is fantastic!!! Full fun, love, lust and a little bit of deception. Rey is a college student struggling to get by. Having lost her father, her mother does the best she can for Rey and her little sister Penny but there’s just not enough to go around. Rey is studying psychology, praying for an internship that will pay her the money she needs to help Penny achieve her dreams. When she meets Miles in the women’s bathroom, she thinks she’s found the perfect subject for her paper on abnormal behavior. He’s determined to see her again and gets her to go on prequel dates with him. He has quit his job at the advertising firm he worked for and is hoping to now work for his father. His father will give him a job if Miles can prove he can stick with something and he decides that something is Rey. They begin seeing each other and soon Rey realizes she actuallly has feelings for him. Miles is also developing feelings, which is not the norm for him. Soon Rey starts to feel the guilt building, that she’s using him for her paper and in the end, it gets too much and she confesses to Miles and walks away. Miles finds he misses her and after a talk with his Aunt, he goes to find her. He admits he was using her too but that he wants her to be his sort of girlfriend again and that she is forgiven. She agrees but only if she can be his real girlfriend. She has realized that sacrificing her happiness for her sister isn’t good for either of them. She and Miles begin again and their relationship and love grows and blossoms into something wonderful and Rey finds that she doesn’t have to sacrifice her happiness for everyone else.

I am so happy Penelope went back to the Chamberson family. I loved all the Objects of Attraction series and to now go to the next generation is so exciting. We get Miles the son of Bruce and Natasha but acts more like crazy as his uncle is much fun to read about. Miles finds his match with Rye a sweet and sometimes blushing college student who decides to use Miles’s craziness for physic paperwork without telling him.
I found these two characters to be warm, crazy, fun, and chemistry wonderfully hot. But I also was so happy to see that their chemistry builds throughout the story. They find themselves in some situations where they could be in the bedroom, but things happen where they end up walking away. I find that amusing. Great story. I can’t wait to see whom Penelope brings out next.
Rey and Miles both started seeing each other for their own selfish reasons. Those reasons became obsolete when they started falling in love. Cute read with lots of funny banter and well portrayed characters.

I LOVED this story! The characters were great and well developed. Miles mottos are the shiznit! There are a lot of feels with this story. I laughed so much that my daughter was concerned if I was going to be ok.
Rey is a struggling college student that doesn’t have time for relationships. She meets Miles somewhere you should never meet a man and shortly after that, he was posing as a nude model for her sculpture class. He gives her a banana before leaving her class and asks her for a date. Rey is almost positive that he is certifiably insane.
Miles is the son of very rich parents but is working to prove that he can make it on his own. He meets Rey and decides that he wants to get to know her better even though she is less than enthused with his attention. He gives her a banana as both a test as to what kind of woman she is and for sentimental reasons. Miles isn’t a fan of commitment but if he wants a job at the family business he will have to prove to his dad that he can stick with something “for once”. He decides that he can prove it to his dad and get to know Rey better since keeping her around would show a level of commitment.
Miles and Rey were wonderful. Miles cracked me up so much. He can be my new book boyfriend! Rey trying to take care of her sister Penny gave me lots of feels. Miles gave me lots of feels too since he was so interesting and forgiving. I think my favorite part was the laser tag and Miles’s reaction to how everything went down. Their happy ever after made me so happy. I do wish there was an epilogue further into the future, but I’m happy with the way it ended. I definitely recommend reading this book.

Funny 4 stars – It is an entertaining and a slow burn romance. The characters are quirky, funny and endearing. The situations and banters are hilarious. There is really no serious conflict in the story. It is an easy read. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]
Excellent characters.
Great romance, very well written, which can be simple, like the continuous seduction of the hero Miles towards Rey, but which can be more complex also by their behavior, their expectations and their choices. The characters are unpredictable, quite funny. It’s also good to find the unpredictable and hilarious characters from previous books.
Rey is a psychology student and she has to find a human subject to study for a paper. It’s difficult for her because she is running away from human relationships, she doesn’t have much time because she is broke and she’s helping her little sister who is quite a genius. But when she stumbles upon Miles in the university restroom and then he intrudes in her sculpture class, she tells herself that he would be the ideal abnormal subject. She doesn’t understand him, and a for good reason, he is unexpected in his reactions and he too has a hidden motivation: to prove to his father (Bruce, the psychorigide from”His Banana”story) that he can finish what he wants and keep commitments without ginving up. He chooses to develop his seduction and his approach to Rey, who does everything to not fall in love with him, while keeping her study of Miles secret.

Go Bananas!
They’re back! All the lovable nutcases from Amanda Bloom’s Objects of Affection series – William, Hailey, Bruce, and GRAMMY! (Be warned, Grammy’s off the chain!) But this is Next Generation, so hero Miles (daft son of Bruce) goes after heroine Rey (psych major with issues) with all the heat and goofy gusto Bloom can write. They’re hilarious. They’re oddly sweet, and HOT, and totally off the-wall, and (between bouts of giggles) you just can’t stand the thought of them not being with one another. No plot summations, no spoilers, no HINTS of how they get to HEA – you hafta read it for yourself. Betcha can’t make it to the end without a snort-laugh! I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a ROTFL review.
After His Banana is a light-hearted and fun romantic comedy that is sure to leave you laughing out loud as you follow the romantic and somewhat crazy journey between the delightful Rey and zany Miles. If you have read any of this author’s Objects of Attraction books, especially His Banana or Her Cherry, then you will have a general idea of what to expect – hilarious verbal sparring, quirky characters, and lots of crazy antics.
After His Banana is a standalone romantic comedy that is a bit over the top with the numerous escapades that Miles and Rey get into. Miles is the progeny of Bruce and Natasha (from His Banana) and is a rather amusing and insanely good-looking character. Rey is a psychology student at NYU and her first encounter with Miles is quite entertaining. She is more responsible and sensible than Miles, but also possesses some sass. My only complaint is that Miles, while older than Rey, was very immature and childish at times. However, that did not detract away from my enjoyment of the book.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the amazing cast of secondary characters. Grammy is absolutely batty and all of the scenes with her had me nearly peeing my pants with laughter. The banter between Miles and Rey also left me chuckling. After His Banana is a book not be taken seriously or even realistically. It is meant to elicit tears of laughter from its unique, quirky characters who engage in over the top antics all while leaving you with a smile on your face. This romantic comedy is the perfect book for a weekend read or to life your spirits. 4.5 / 5 stars
What a nice surprise from Penelope, getting to know about the next generation of the Chamberson’s has started off a mighty high level and am eagerly waiting to hear about the other kids form this lineage.
Miles is absolutely hilarious and takes after his Uncle William in that regarding and all the shenanigans that he gets into. His introduction of Rey to the parents certainly will have you in fits or horror depending on your level of prankster.
Rey’s strategy to seek penance seriously backfired it was too funny how Miles ate it up like all his Fridays had come at once and it certainly says a lot about him that he started looking for solutions to live with “Rey’s condition”.
You will laugh from start to finish and will not want it to end.

Miles is hilarious and sexy. A lethal combination. Rey is his straight laced love interest. Their love story is filled with laughs, meaningful moments and lots of steamy scenes. I loved the characters, loved the book and want to join Miles’ crazy family.
Literally laugh-out-loud steamy, suggestive Rom Com with innuendoes galore. That cover!
Having read all of the Objects of Attraction series, I can truly say I think this is the best. These characters are charmingly loveable and have given Ms. Bloom unparalleled status in this genre in my mind.
Rey is a broke Psychology student at NYU hoping to win a coveted PAID internship with a paper on an abnormal personality subject. She just needs to find one. After her father’s death her family’s circumstances changed dramatically and she feels compelled to shoulder this burden. Her sister is a genius with many opportunities but b/c of their financial situation unable to pursue them.
Enter Miles Chamberson, son of Bruce who with his twin brother William own and operate Galleon Enterprises, the premier advertising agency in NYC, making them billionaires. The meet-cute between Rey and Miles was so Penelope Bloom! Because Miles is outrageously zany and eccentric, Rey thinks she has found her abnormal personality subject. And, b/c Miles feels attracted to Rey, he could use her to prove to his father he is worthy to join Galleon. He’s not your typical spoiled rich boy.
There were so many things about this book that make it outstanding: revisiting the Chamberson crew; Miles’ mottoes; Grammy’s mouth; etc. etc. etc. Read this book if you like LOL romantic comedy with steamy dialogue, situations and lots of humor. This book is light as day. No dark here. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Booksprout and give it 10 Stars!
This book was a real page turner with the quirky characters and humor that kept me totally glued to my kindle until the very last page!
After his banana
Natasha and Bruce’s child Miles is the focus of this wonderfully, funny second generation banana rama
Rey is a psychology student and meets Miles over clay sculpturing but because he always has a back up plan…yes a banana too Miles is super funny and I laughed out loud numerous times with his jokes Rey was a little too serious for my liking at times but her and Miles have good chemistry and I really enjoyed their story and she grew on me
Also nice to catch up with the other characters we got to know in the previous generations books I received an advanced copy via Booksprout and I voluntarily leave my honest review
