Whoever said you can’t go home again can kiss my Spanx-covered butt!At least that’s what Alexandria ‘Lex’ Luther thinks as she crosses the city limits to her hometown, the one place she never wants to see again. Circumstances might have forced her back, but no way will Lex get suckered into sticking around this time. She’s even poured herself into her favorite little white dress to prove to … to prove to everyone, especially her family, that she’s shaken off the dust from this podunk little town for good.
Unfortunately, Lex’s triumphant homecoming is spoiled when she quite literally falls head over heels for Grayson Conrad, the town’s newest resident and most eligible bachelor. His quick thinking and even quicker hands may have saved her dress from ruination, but those mile-deep dimples, dazzling blue peepers, and stupidly long eyelashes might just be her ruination, if she’s not careful.
Because the last thing Lex needs is to fall for a man who left the bright lights of the big city to settle down in a sleepy small town. What was he even thinking? As soon as she finishes up with her family business, she’s blowing this popsicle stand and nothing’s going to stop her.
Not even dimples and stupidly long lashes.

Lex formed an instant connection with Greyson and his spunky too smart fashionista six year old daughter Sophia. But she was only home to help with the family’s failing bed and breakfast and planned on running back to LA and potential promotion. It doesn’t make her want to stay when her mother and brothers make her feel guilty for not being there sooner. Lex and Greyson’s relationship was fraught with misunderstandings and fear of rejection. This was a sexy romance with plenty of funny and some scary moments with a fire and Sophia missing. I laughed at the crazy townspeople’s antics. I would love to read more about Lex’s brothers and her friend Zoe.
Such a Feel Good Romance!
Reading this book is like curling up next to your Golden Retriever, it’s that good of a feeling.
The author wrote a fantastic storyline that takes place in a location, Yosemite Flats which is a “little community nestled in the Sierra Nevada”. By the end of the story I wanted to move there and meet all the characters, especially the Boobies Brigade and the Benders.
But of course it’s all about Lex (Alexandria) coming home for a couple of weeks after being in L.A. for ten years; And, Greyson and his six year old precocious daughter, Sophia. Everyone knows but them. Then, everyone knows including Greyson. Then, everyone knows including Lex. But, who runs and who stays?
I’m wholeheartedly recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. Peace.

Characters you can connect and relate to make this a great romantic story. You’re pulled in to their story and their lives more and more with each turn of the page. It’s clean, it’s sweet and it’s romance with humor woven through the story line making all that much better. Highly recommend!

We have the story here of two people who can easily fall in love, except for the fact that they are at cross-purposes in where they would live. The handsome Grayson is tired of the fast life in L.A. and moved to this small town with the quieter pace to raise his daughter. But meeting Lex, who had to return home on family business and despises the little town, he will have his job cut out for him trying to convince her to stay here and make a life with him and his wonderful daughter.
They grow closer together, but Lex is so unhappy and her mother continues to make her life miserable. Will Grayson show her that love can happen even in a small town, and he and Sophia need her? Or will she be unable for any reason to tolerate coming back to the home she couldn’t wait to run from?
This was a good story, kept the reader’s attention, and had compelling characters where the reader could see both sides of the dilemma. Grab your copy and see if there is any sort of compromise to keep them together.
The author has given us characters that we can connect with. These people pull us into their lives and just will not let go. This shows us what can happen when your brain and heart are at odds. Which one do you listen to?

This was a wonderful book! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters are fun and so real. Lex returns home to help her mother and brothers restore the family business. She has to confront issues she has with her mom and also find out who she truly is. Along the way, Lex meets Grayson and his sweet daughter, Sophia. Their story will leave you feeling good! I can’t wait for the next book in Yosemite Flats!
An advanced copy was given to me for an honest review.
Lex and Grayson are a lesson in chemistry. The sparks fly and the tension builds. This romance is a story of coming home and of coming to terms with family dynamics that sometimes can’t be explained. Add in a sassy little girl who thinks she’s an adult and you have even more fun!
This book is a stand alone but after meeting the Luther family I’m so glad there are more in the series!!
I really enjoyed this contemporary by Cassie Hayes. Small town dynamics work their magic to bring about twists and turns and excitement between Grayson and Lex. Great start to a new series! Loved all the quirky and nosey ones that make small town life so fun!
Grayson wants to raise his daughter in a small town away from the hustle and bustle of L.A. And Yosemite Flats is the perfect place. When he meets Lex then he knows that maybe there can be more here too.
Lex is the prodigal daughter returning to help take care of the family inn. But her mothers resentment threatens to send her running again. But a chance meeting with just about the sexiest man alive changes everything. And his daughter just adds to the appeal.
Through many pitfalls and scares, these two grow close. But her home isn’t there anymore. Can Grayson make her love him and Sophia and want to stay or will her heart be broken once again sending her running for the city?
Lex is coming home to help the family business. To say she is reluctant to spend time with her mother and in her dads office without him is an understatement. Her intent is to do what needs doing and getting back to LA ASAP!
On her trip back home she literally falls into Grayson’s arms. Then she meets the beautiful Sophia who she is soon nannying. Some action packed adventures and small town community living and suddenly Lex is torn, does she go back or take a chance here in her home town.
Flirty and fun! Lex is back home to help straighten out the family Inn. She lives in a small town and the rumor mill is in full force. Her mom, Charlotte blames her for her dad’s death. Lex’s brothers are protective and happy she’s home. Her best friend wants Lex to stay home for good.
Grayson is new in town but has been easily welcomed with open arms. The reason he has made this small-town home is because the big city life was ruining the only woman, he loves most in the world.
Lex and the Little White Dress is romantic and so sweet. The way our couple meets had me sighing so big and the more time they spend together, the more you want their happily ever after.
This is the first book I have read by this author but look forward to more especially from this family and group of friends.
This was a fun happy book with laugh out loud moments and funny situations. Even I could relate to one experience. Grayson and Lex were am interesting couple, mutual attraction aside they were hot. The dialogue I loved, they especially Lex were sharp and sassy with lots of humor. A really fun book!
This was an ARC and this is my honest and voluntary review of this great book!
Lex is begrudgingly back home and to be honest I don’t blame her after what happened at her Dad’s funeral, thankfully hawt as hell Grayson along with sweet wee Charlotte make it almost bearable. You really feel for Lex and to be honest I would have just walked out as soon as her Mum opened her mouth but I also get wanting to get close to Grayson and spending time with Charlotte while she works out her next steps. This really is a great story about finding out what you really want and it not always being what you think and that it can take almost losing it to know it.
I loved this sweet, funny family romance. Lex, Grayson and the irrepressible Sophia will tug at your heartstrings and maybe even bring a tear to your eyes, while the antics of the small town denizens of Yosemite Flats will keep you laughing while wondering what’s coming next.
A great vacation read.
The storyline was good, the characters are developed and loved the setting. This was a fun clean read. I couldn’t put it down once I started. I definitely want to read more by Cassie Hayes.
Great storytelling! I felt like I was there seeing everything unfold.
A really good read. I enjoyed the story and the characters. I loved Grayson and Lex’s story. Life in a small town is what he wants for himself and his daughter but will Lex choose them or the big city. A very interesting read that captivated me from the beginning.
