She actually was a well known Party Planner that was in demand to do charity functions and galas. Savannah was one of three children to Grandma or GG Beauchamp. Savannah has an identical twin sister named Shelby and is the reason for her coming back to Boone for her sister”s wedding. She also had a brother named Carter who use to live like Savannah but has now settled down in Boone and has a wife named Maggie. Maggie owns a place called the Artful Oven, a bakery of sorts. GG owns a place that sells all types of art, sculptures, paintings, etc. Shelby, Savannah’s twin, is a first grade school teacher. Sam and her brother Carter are builders together. Carter even built his wife the house they live in. Carter and Same rebuilt the suite in GG’s house she is staying in.
Savannah comes to Boone with her driver and bodyguard Joey and she tells him to stay at the local Inn in downtown Boone. Everyone is glad to have Savannah back in Boone but something is keeping her from committing to staying and she refuses to let anyone in to discuss her reasons. She meets Ben Conner who is the farrier for a local rancher and his wife Doc Harper and his wife. The story goes Shelby, Savannah’s sister marries and Savannah is still in town. Unbeknown to Savannah her grandmother GG and her sister and her brother have been conspiring on ways of trying to keep her in Boone so that they can be together and be close as they use to. Things happened when Savannah was young concerning her Grandpa that has kept her from wanting to stay and she has told no one. She wants people to think she is a socialite without a care but the truth is she is a very good business person. She married and her husband died and he left her a substantial amount of money because he was wealthy but she used it to start a business and she is good at it. Savannah has one friend still in France she was close to, Henri but he is now married to his girlfriend Laurel and they are going to have a child. But she is close to him. Can he get Savannah to talk about what is keeping her from living near her sisters and brothers and her parents who live about hour or so close by, Mother Allison and Dad James. Joey, Savannah’s driver and bodyguard while she was in France told her that he was getting old and his younger brother wanted him to be part of his business he was starting, so of course Savannah had to let him go, although she would miss him so much because even though she loved France and Europe her only true friends were Henri and Joey. There was a lot going on in this story and it all centered on trying to get Savannah to move back to Boone with her grandma and her sister and brother and their family. Ben Conner has a lot to do with her decision because he was the farrier who was teaching her how to ride a horse and he had become her friend with benefits and of course it was meant to be because he was the cowboy she dreamed about. Good book, easy read and entertaining. Get this book.
Surviving Savannah was a great addition to a fantastic series. Savannah was more complex than I anticipated and I really liked her. I felt the conflict in her regarding her glamorous life and the boring small town of Boone. I loved the way the horses and the cowboy affected her. I also loved reading about my favorite characters from the previous books. It was a very enjoyable easy read.

” Surviving Savannah- A Strong Man’s Hand – Book 3 “ by Kate Carrington is a tale of one Savannah Beauchamp has come to Boone, Indiana, for her identical twin sister’s wedding…BUT she’s not staying one extra minute after the wedding is over! Not one extra moment…NO WAY IN…..!!! Wait….who is THAT?!? Ben Conner….Boone’s Handsome new farrier…..what a tall drink of water he is …and sooo strong willed too. How intriguing. If only he wasn’t sooo infuriating as well. Will Savannah and Ben become a couple?!? Will she finally decide to make Boone her home?!? And what about those riding lessons…do they extend to the bedroom as well?!? Is there a HEA in their future?!? Read & see!!

Terrific 3rd book in this wonderful, romantic series! I’m in love with the town of Boone and the characters that inhabit it, so I was so happy to see another book in the series. This is Savannah’s story. Savannah comes to Boone for her twin sister’s wedding and to reconnect with her brother and grandmother. She has led a jet set lifestyle since her brief marriage ended and rarely visits. Savannah has her own reasons for staying clear of Boone and is determined to attend the wedding and get back to her life. However, family concerns have her staying longer than she intended and then she meets a guy – a cowboy of all things! She can’t imagine anything lasting with him, but is very attracted to all he has to offer. As things heat up, secrets come between Savannah and her family as well as the man she has fallen in love with. For his part, Ben would love Savannah in his life permanently but knows she has demons she must face. He also is a dominant man who expects better behavior from Savannah than she sometimes shows and he knows just how to fix that problem! This was a fun, face-paced and romantic story which I loved. I also really enjoyed catching up on the characters from the first two books. They feature prominently and that was very welcome to a reader who has really become fond of this series.
I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading I could not put it down until I read the last page.

Book 3 in this series & I’m still loving them. This book brings the prodigal Savannah back to Boone where she meets cowboy Ben. I enjoyed the characters in this book immensely & loved the addition of the characters from the previous 2 books. I loved the willingness of Savannah to enjoy her life in Boone, even when it wasn’t what she wanted to do. Combine this with well-meaning but meddling family & does Savannah really stand a chance?
The third book in the A Strong Man’s Hand series a well written story with spanking. Savannah has come back to Boone, Indiana for her twin sister’s wedding, she meets Ben a cowboy. I enjoyed reading how they come together. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is book three of A Strong Man’s Hand. This can be read as a stand alone, but it helps to have read the first two. Savannah is coming home for her twin sister’s wedding. She is a jet setting woman who loves the world. When she gets home she starts to appreciate the simpler life. She meets Ben and they fall in love. But there is a reason why she doesn’t want to live in Boone, Indiana. I do wish that we learned more about her first marriage. It’s used as a reason why she is able to live the life she does, but it is never mentioned again. There is a HEA and it’s fun getting there.
Saving Savannah was an enjoyable and easy read, watching two people fall in love despite being from two seemingly different walks of life. Savannah is surrounded by loving family who sees the truth more than she does, but does not interfere. They love her, let her know their opinions, and let her reach her own conclusions, feeling the pull of family and love naturally. The reasons why the couple falls in love could be flushed out better, but good enough to get the idea. In fact, a lot of the story could be flushed out more – maybe a little more build up, and a little more character building. Some things were a bit predictable. Some things needed more preamble. However, it was still an enjoyable read, with a happy ending, and just the right touch of steamy stuff, since in my opinion, it should be the garnish and not overpower the main dish. This book was very, very good. It’s the first book of the series that I have read, and I will definitely be looking at the others based off this one. Savannah is a woman who lives the jet setter life organizing one charity event a year. She goes back to her small home town, Boone, for her twin’s wedding where she meets Ben, a cowboy who shoes horses and gives riding lessons. Sparks fly, but Savannah isn’t comfortable with the idea of living in Boone. Only she finds herself in love and with family plotting to get her to stay not to mention happy. She goes to France for a job proposal, but she ends up finding her way back when Ben goes to see her. It was a very well written book, and I am so glad I took the chance on it. I recommend it to everyone. It’s a great story about growing up and maturity with the perfect amount of sexy hotness and romance.

Loved the book. First one I’ve read of this series but I want to read more. Savannah goes back to Boone Indiana for her twin sisters wedding. She’s been gone most of her adult life and is only there for a short time. While she’s there she meet Ben and falls in love. Will she be able to stay and live with the love of her life or will she take off again for the fast lane? You’ll have to read the book to find out. You won’t be disappointed. This is the first I’ve read from this author, and I can say that the book does stand well on its own. However, I find myself very conflicted in my thoughts about it. There are some aspects I completely adored. I loved the sense of family among these characters; it’s so easy to see how much they care for one another. I loved the teasing and silliness, the snarky witty banter. But there are some parts of this book that I didn’t enjoy as much. I didn’t like the way Savannah’s whole family manipulated her, and that they thought this was a perfectly acceptable way to get their way. I didn’t like the way Ben treated Savannah when they were first getting to know each other. Why is it a woman’s always a “b!tch” when she’s not giving in to a man’s demands? My heart broke for Savannah and the reason she’s stayed away for all of this time. While I liked that the discipline aspects of this story are fairly low key, I was not a fan of the fact that there’s no discussion about “this is what’s going to happen…” until the discipline was almost over. To my mind, that’s not cool and it’s not any part of the Lifestyle as I understand it. Would I read this book again? I don’t think so. Would I read more by this author? Yes, yes I would.

Wow this was awesome what a fun filled heart-warming book.
Savannah was an absolute hoot she came home for her sister’s wedding but she didn’t intend to stay long.
Then there’s Ben Mr. Cowboy Hottie and boy did the two of them heat things up.
