Professional surfer Sue Tanaka didn’t want to leave her beloved Hawaii, the ocean waves, or the vibrant sea life she’s worked so hard to protect. But her protests and aggressive tactics didn’t mesh with the law and she’s found herself behind bars. Her choice? Ten years in jail or life as an Interstellar Bride. Never one to shy away from adventure, she decides to take her chances in the stars—with … stars—with not one, but two sexy-as-hell alpha warriors on The Colony.
Surnen, a Prillon Warrior and trusted doctor, has been waiting for a bride for years. Banished to The Colony, he’s given up all hope, until a black-haired Earth beauty instantly steals his heart and his breath. But the highly disciplined doctor likes protocols and control, in bed and out of it. His second and an equally ruthless warrior, Captain Trax, agrees. Unfortunately, their new mate has a wild streak, a thirst for danger, and an appetite for violence that both shocks and thrills them. When her penchant for stirring up trouble brings danger to The Colony, they’ll stop at nothing to save her.
Nothing at all.

This book is a wonderful addition to the Interstellar Brides series. Mikki is a felon, but one only because of her social conscience. She chooses to be a bride. When she undergoes the testing, she is strong enough to reject the first scenario and they have to move her to a second one. But she is matched to a Prillion and his second and to the colony. She is sent to the colony and meets her matches but at first, she isn’t sure that she wants them. Eventually, there is a HEA. The fun is the trip to the HEA. I always enjoy the author’s writing, but this one resonated especially. I loved how Mikki stood up for herself and didn’t allow anyone to minimize her. This is a great addition to this world! Fast-paced & sexy “perfectly mated” read
—>>> This was a fast-paced and sexy read, with two most honorable Prillon Warriors who have been sent to The Colony, recovered from their ordeal of being capture by the Hive. Mikki has been matched with Surnen and his second, Trax, according to her deepest desires. What she brings to the table with her profession as an environmental biologist is priceless, and we see in less than 24 hours their appreciative status of going from having their very-slim wishes of finding a potential mate to then nearly losing her to a mysterious force discovered under the surface of Valuri’s waters.
Mikki and her 2 warriors chemistry together was hot to read. This book is filled with adventure great story plot hot steamy love scenes I couldn’t put the book down. I want 2 mates of my own I love this series I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next book.

If this series is an addiction, I never want the cure! While I always say my current Interstellar Bride book is my favorite, this one exceeded my expectations to the point I wanted to start rereading as soon as I turned the last page. The emotional connection the author made to me with the story of Surnen, Mikki, and Trax was a tangible chain that had me sharing the feelings each held behind the walls they erected…the fear, the love, the desperation, but mostly the deep need each had for other to be made whole. Fabulous five-star read only because I can’t award more.
I have read everyone of Grace Goodwin’s books, and each one provides me something unique to love about it. In this book, the heroine Mikki was my favorite.

What do you get when you take a strong female, a dominating doctor and a fierce warrior? You get one heck of a thruple! Mikki had two choices, stay in prison or choose the interstellar brides program. Mikki loves the outdoors, the ocean, and animals big and small. The thought of living in a cell for 10 years without the outdoors is worse than taking a risk on becoming an interstellar bride. She makes her choice and is immediately sent to the colony to meet her chosen mates. She’s about to have her hands full!
Surnen and Trax had pretty much given up hope of finding a mate, especially after they were sent to the colony after having been captured by the hive and now have integrations. Surnan the dominate doctor has some baggage he needs to get through, especially when it comes to a wild make like Mikki. Trax the warrior Captain has his on insecurities because of his integrations and his families reactions to them. Both aliens have their idea of an ideal mate, however, Mikki may be just a little more stubborn and independent to just give in.
In true Grace Goodwin fashion, this book was fun, the characters interesting, the storyline took an interesting turn, and of course there are some steamy sexy times. My only complaint, the book was just too short for me. I wanted just a little more story and Trax, Surnen and Mikki. It was an entertaining read that I just wasn’t ready to end. I definitely recommend and enjoy this entire series.
Ecoterrorist! Or so they say… Mikki was in jail for a misguided attempt to save sealife, and her only option is to become a bride. She’s shocked to find she will have two mates just as she’s whisked away to the Colony. Fortunately, Rachel, Kristin and Lindsey are there to greet her because one of her mates can’t be bothered to come greet her at first. Mikki is no shrinking violet, though, and she makes him pay for dissing her. This is another exciting chapter in GG’s universe, and I can’t wait for the next one!
I love the stories that revolve around The Colony and this book is no exception. They have gone through so much. I was ecstatic that Dr. Surnen was the next one to receive a Bride. He is on the surly side and shows very little emotion. I couldn’t help but be curious about him. Mikki is his bride and is a rule breaker as well as being on the wild side. Trax is Surnen’s second and he wants to be loved but feels unworthy. This was an exciting and emotional story that I truly enjoyed. I read it in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down.
I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.
