TuesdayThe freedom was exhilarating. After a devastating loss and years of smothering from my overprotective parents, the open road called to me, and I answered.I was shedding the old me for someone brand new.It was just me and my RV, Suzie Q, bouncing from town to town, peddling my wares at whatever fair, carnival, or festival we happened to come upon. But the boy with the warm brown eyes and sweet … come upon.
But the boy with the warm brown eyes and sweet voice had me thinking that maybe freedom wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.
But though my feet still tried to carry me away, my vagabond heart refused to let him go.
Daniel
The freedom was maddening.
Years on the open road left me feeling restless and edgy.
As the top-selling singer-songwriter in the country, I was obligated to fulfill my contract and give the fans what they wanted.
Even if I had to lose a piece of myself in the process.
I missed my family. I missed my home.
I missed the ties that kept me grounded.
But the girl with the purple hair and tattoos had me thinking that maybe home was less about four walls and more about the connections we make.
But if she was determined to run, then I was just as determined to chase her.
And I was coming at her full tilt.
***Tilt is a 30k word novella in the Love, Unexpected series.

Tuesday s awesome! She’s cool and quirky and I just love her!
Daniel is a down to earth rock star with a heart of gold.
When these two combine, sparks fly right off the page. This book is sweet, hilarious, sexy, swoon-worthy, and completely unputdownable!
When you meet the one, your world will Tilt. Daniel, famous musician meets Tuesday, boho artist and sparks fly. I loved the chemistry, their connection. Tuesday has a real joie de vivre, has never met a stranger, and is wonderfully genuine. Daniel is trying not to become tainted and longs for stability and roots. The story is a fast paced, relatively short read that was a joy to read. I was a huge fan of BJ Bentley before and this solidifies her as one of my favorites.
I received an ARC and am gladly leaving this honest review.
Great small town feel read! This is a great read about an unexpected love in a small town. The characters are amazing with great chemistry. This is a cute storyline that will pull you in.
This was the first book I have read from this author… and what a surprise.

Talk about every girl’s fantasy of going to the county fair and being swept away by the hot singer on stage. Well for me that is…
Tilt is a story of finding peace. About finding your center after something so tragic happens, your life tilts and you don’t know how to go back. But Tuesday and Daniel even each other out beautifully. They are the yin and yang. I just loved these two as a couple.
In Tilt, you get every little detail from the smells from the waffles stand, to the Korean BBQ down the way. Even the emotions of Tuesday trying to climb that protective wall that she has built so strong and so high. It is heartwrenching.
Daniel and his team are a hoot. I loved it when all of a sudden customer after customer started coming by Tuesdays booth. That Sneaky Devil.
This is such a fun and heartwarming read. One of those reads you will keep on your nightstand to pick back up when you need that warm fuzzy read.
Tilt was outstanding read from one of my favourite authors, BJ Bentley repeatedly brings us these original stories that beneath the romance there is another level to her words, she writes about everyday life in a way that’s fresh and sincere and I always anticipate a new release from her talented mind.
Aw Tuesday, I just love her spirit, her thirst for life but most of all I love how she knows want she wants to do in her life and no matter what doesn’t let anyone take that from her! She’s individual and breathtaking inside and out which makes this read so much sweeter than the typical romance and a fabulous addition to the Girl Power Series.
Daniel was as far as you could get from your a average rock star, he found a way to last through the trials and tribulations of his change in life but he also struggled to enjoy the journey he always dreamed of, the is until a certain music festival brought light into his world wormed it’s way inside his soul and took up residence deep in his heart.
Now just to convince her he was worth taking a shot on!
Tuesday set out in her RV, Suzie Q to travel and see things after leaving her overprotective parents. She meets Daniel on her travels. Daniel is a singer and songwriter wanting to come off the road and settle down. He starts thinking the sweet girl with the purple hair and tattoos might be the woman for him and his home. Tuesday and Daniel were a sweet couple with different goals in life but were able to come together to make things work for a relationship. A short, good read.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving a review.
4*
Tuesday is a roamer travelling in her rv selling her crafts.
She’s shocked to meet & hide Daniel from his fans. I loved Tuesdays free spirit & the way Daniel flowed with her personality.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
A short and sweet book by BJ Bentley, Tilt is her newest release. A story of two people looking for different paths in life.
Tuesday is a free spirit traveling in her RV called Suzie Q.
Love Tuesday! She’s sweet, free spirit and beautiful inside and out. Love how she lived her life and always seeing the best in people.
Daniel is a singer and songwriter who wants to leave the road behind for most stability in his life.
Love how they met and what started as a free spirit girl saving a top selling singer songwriter from maddening fans, turned out to be a beautiful and sweet love story.
My Rating: STARS!!
A sweet & sexy Love, Unexpected romance featuring Daniel and Tuesday. So many things I loved about this story! First, the characters-Tuesday is the breeze blowing through your hair on a hot summer day. She is a free spirit who knows not to get bogged down by the little things, who lives her life capturing experiences, seeing the best in people, and with no hesitation in telling them so. I got a bit frustrated when Daniel tried to capture & tame Tuesday but he soon learns to flow like water, and when he gets it right, swoon! I also adored the secondary characters-gruff Wade, taciturn Harold the waffle-maker & his housecoat clad wife, Naomi, and Daniel’s best friend Charlie.
Besides the characters, I loved the setting. Set in Albuquerque during the week long Southwest Jam Fest, it’s the perfect location for a musician and artist to meet & fall in love over Korean BBQ, waffles, and funnel cakes. A total feel good, small town romance.
I received a copy of this book. My honest opinion is voluntarily provided.
Tilt, the newest release from BJ Bentley was such a wonderful read. This was the story of the free-spirit Tuesday MacCallum and the top selling singer-songwriter Daniel Spears. After a chance encounter where Tuesday saves Daniel from a few squealing grabby fans, they become inseparable. Unfortunately, they are both in different stages in their lives. She needs to roam and he now wants some stability. But the more they get to know each other, you witness how perfect they are for each other.
Tuesday was a fascinating heroine, she sees the good in everyone she meets, she is so open and fearless, but she has some deep-seated sadness that keeps her from wanting any permanency, until Daniel. I adored how Daniel just knew what they had and how determined he was to keep her in his life. A great story regarding two people searching for opposite futures but are completely drawn to each other. I loved how they reached their happily ever after and then to read the epilogue, it was perfect!
I absolutely loved this story. Love the concept of a concert fair grounds because I’m a big music fan. It’s unique and kept me reading through the evening. Daniel and Tuesday both need one another to get past their struggles. It’s sweet, romantic and makes you believe in HEA. One I would definitely recommend.
Well, now I almost want to go to a music festival….and I’m not a fan of dirt or heat or sunburns. And yet, here we are. Tuesday is a bit of a wild child, living on the fringes and going where the wind, road, and Suzie Q take her. Daniel is tired of living on the road and wants to be grounded, but he’s not sure how. Little does he know that his perfect version of “grounded” is a woman who lives by the seat of her pants and spreads her kindness and cheer to every stranger she meets. He and Tuesday have a fast, fun story that forces both of them to question what they really want in life. And it sure turns their expectations sideways in the process.
I can’t wait to see what comes next from this author.
