What is it that they say? Life’s a witch and then you die. Change and I have never been best friends, something that’s only gotten clearer from my transfer to the Guild of Guardians. Aka punishment for stealing a magical object. Now I’ve got to hunt down criminal supernaturals to pay off my sentence. The men in my new team don’t want me around. Neither do the other inmates. They just want to push … inmates. They just want to push me to my limits, test me, thinking that I’ll fail. But they have another thing coming. I’ll pass everything they throw my way, and I’ll prove I’m worthy.
Life’s A Witch is book 1 in the Guild of Guardians series, a supernatural prison academy reverse harem with plenty of action, swoon-worthy men, and a heroine determined to end up on top.

This is an author who seems to improve with each series and this one is no exception i absolutely love this spin off from the Guild of Shadows.
The Guild of Guardians is a supernatural prison where the inmates are placed into teams to track and capture the worst criminal supernaturals to pay off their sentences.
Astra’s team is full of Bad boys who initially don’t want her so she has to prove herself and show them that she can hold her own.
There are some seriously good scenes and you will never look at a snickers bar again in the same way.
I love that the author has main characters with Autism and Asperger’s and really appreciate the portrayal in a sensitive yet practical and honest way.
Love, love. love this book and cant wait to see how the storey develops.
An exciting addition to her world
Astra, a Guild of Shadows trainee, gets caught trying to help her friend Luna and is sent to the Guild of Guardians, the prison for Shadow members. While there she is teamed with Knoxe, the a-hole team leader, Tor, the joker, Raze, the strong silent one, and Pascal, the one she can most relate to. As the story progresses dangers lurk within and outside, secrets kept could destroy, and one battle will either draw them all together as a team or tear them further apart. Skylar Andra’s Life’s a Witch is an exciting addition to her world of gantii, guild, and humans. You get a feel of otherworldly landscapes that parallel our own planet and dimension.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
I loved the character of Astra from the Guild of Shadows series, so I was excited to see that she was going to be a part of the spin-off series. Though it starts out slow, the book grabs your attention and keeps you guessing as you go through it. I like that Astra isn’t going to let little things slow her down and that she is willing to fight for what she wants. The guys took a little to get used to and to like, but they have begun to grow on me and I cannot wait to see what happens next.
This book was a good read but it was a slow start for me. Once I got into it I didn’t want it to end. Can’t get over the cliff hanger at the end and definitely wish there was more to read right now.
So it starts a bit slow and then Bam!…. It knocks you down and you hold on for dear life as Skyler Andra pulls you into a fantastical world of action packed adventure and steaminess. Astra and her men take us on roller coaster ride navigating what the guild guardians are and what mysteries they hold. Autism and Asperger’s are brought to light in this book which makes it very unique and shows the reality in which they live. I am so excited to read book 2 after getting to read this book. It is a fabulous new series that pulls you in and holds on until the end leaving you wanting more. Brava Skyler Andra!
Convicted of theft Astra (FMC) ends up in The Guild of Guardians. A so called prison for Supernaturals with powers to work off their sentences by capturing dangerous criminals. Not as easy as it sounds when inmates are just as dangerous as the criminals. As well as her group that shes a been assigned to – Knoxe, Tor, Raze & Pascal arent the most welcoming to her. This book was so good and so hot too. I dont think i will look at a snickers bar in the same way again!! Blimey! I also loved that two of the main characters either had autism and Asperger’s. It added a different spin that made the characters more interesting i thought. Its a great start to this series and i cant wait for the next book. A Brilliant read
Skyler has created the perfect spin off to the guild of shadows series. This spin off focuses on astra and what happens to her. Ending up in the guild of guardians, astra has to learn to navigate the prison system and the purpose of the guardians. It’s an action packed, angsty and mystery driven adventure that I really enjoyed reading. Skyler touches on the subjects of autism and Asperger’s. It’s a fantastic unique addition to the story and really includes what their reality would be liked. I enjoyed reading this and after how this book ended, I can’t wait for book two. Astra and her men are an exciting and explosive new series that will have you wanting more and hoping for a reunion for both Astra and Luna one day in the future. Want action? Want sexual tension? Want a intriguing storyline? This is the book for you!
