This book was super hot and kept me on my toes. It was full of twists and turns, intrigue, steam, and a the perfect push and pull of a really well done love triangle. I could not put it down. I had to know how it all ended, and Sinclair keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat until the last page.
I loved these characters. They were real and dynamic, and shared palpable chemistry. The plot develops naturally with expert flow and precision. This book left me completely satisfied! Can’t wait to see what’s next in the series!
I had a great time reading this book the characters are well developed and engaging and the chemistry between them is great. The flow of the storyline made for an easy read.

Work, family and a love triangle between Kellis and two handsome, very different intriguing men. When all of these aspects meet, Kellis has to make a decision but Pax Sinclair has a way with words when it comes to putting together a spectacular ending you would have never anticipated. This is the type of novel you don’t want to put down till the end.
Kellis finds herself in quite the ordeal between two men at work. Kurt and Matt are both powerful and rich men within the company she has been hired to work for. She has an attraction to both. But who will she end up sharing her heart with or will she end up with none? Fun and exciting

There is never a straight line to love, but with all the twist and turns in this book, the author gets there eventually. It makes for a story you don’t want to put down. I was happy to discover the Love@dsmayer series and even more that these books are love triangles, which I love. Pax has taken the time to really develop these characters and when they clash there are fireworks. Kellis is drawn to two men and is having a hard time deciding which one she wants, while trying to keep her job at the company they work for. Fun read. Loved it.
Just the read for a cold night!
There’s nothing like a love triangle to warm up even the coldest of hearts. I really liked Kellis and her “take no prisoners” attitude. She was excellent at her job that she really enjoyed. She had two men from her workplace trying to win her affections. It should also be noted that she was also accepted by her fellow female employees (not always the case). Moments that make you smile, a few that make you sad, and even more that make you cheer. I’ll certainly be reading more by this author in the near future.

Pax Sinclair has written a 5-star book that you will not be able to put down until finished. Kellis is caught between 2 men who want her. Things get complicated. She is starting to date Matt who works for the company but over a business trip that comes to an end because of Kurt the other man who wants her. Things between her and Kurt are not good. Over the Christmas Holiday, she and Kurt get together but then he leaves. She gets a letter from Kurt and he tells her that he rather leave her than to hurt her more. She and Matt start talking again and she gets his help with somethings that she is going to do that involves Kurt. She has made a choice and it is Kurt that she wants. In his letter to her, he told her that he would do anything to make her whole again and she is giving him the chance to do it.
Can Kellis have the happy ever after she wants?
Will Kurt take the offer that Kellis has given him or will he walk away from her?
This was a wonderful book to read and I would recommend it to anyone.
I received an ARC of this book for my voluntarily and honest review.
The first reviewer on Amazon has expressed my sentiments exactly…
A novel story that made this an interesting page turner. I will, however give it an extra star & I will certainly lookout for future books from this author. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Kellis should have listened to her father and run as fast as she could from both men.
Kellis Ivarsson is a recruiter who, five years after closing the doors on her own recruiting company is looking to get back into the recruiting game by working at Drachen Technology, and multi-national tech firm in Silicon Valley. Success at Drachen will replenish her dwindling coffers and relaunch her recruiting career. Sparks fly when she meets Matt Westmore, tech whiz and CEO of Dark Star, one of Drachen’s subsidiaries. Not so much when she meets Kurt Heinrich, head of R & D who is slated to take over as Drachen’s CEO. As hot as Kellis is for Matt, Kurt leaves her equally cold. High stakes recruiting projects for both men could make or break her fledgling comeback. Add to the mix a manipulative, deceitful, micromanaging boss and you have a recipe for disaster. Will Kellis manage to find love and keep her career?
The premise of the book is a good one and Pax Sinclair weaves a well crafted, tightly written tale. The book flows easily, like having a casual conversation with a friend. Fortunately, I don’t have friends like Kellis, of whom I repeatedly wanted to shake and ask if she was an idiot. For someone who needs this opportunity to work, she certainly plays her career fast and loose, as do the men in her life. Both men, knowing the gravity of her situation, fail to act with any regard to how their actions jeopardize Kellis’s job. It might have been worth it if Kellis had actually established enough of a relationship with either men to make them worthy of any conflict. And for people who are supposed to be good communicators, they certainly appear to be incapable of having meaningful conversations. It made the characters about as deep as a mud puddle formed in a tablespoon.
Instead of rooting for Kellis to prevail, I found myself irritated and frustrated; she was a whiner who settled for a two childish, immature men and a job at Drachen that she couldn’t be bothered to fight for herself. It is only after losing everything that Kellis shows any spirit at all. The final chapters of the book are an enjoyable read as the author provides a cute twist to the story. It’s unfortunate that by then I was too “over it” to care.
Would I read another book by this author? Absolutely. The writing was good and the story, no matter how I felt about the characters, flowed nicely. And honestly, if a reader walks away from your book, yelling at your characters, you’ve done something right.
