Amazing read! Solid plus!!!!
Leslie is still adjusting to her place in the Order and Alastair’s place in her life when she is attacked on the streets of New York. Being cured changes her and changes her life as she continues to fight rogues and learn to control her powers. This book was filled with action and moved along at a breakneck speed, although I did want to smack some sense into Alastair once or twice for being so wishy-washy. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
The blurb hooked me! Can’t wait to read this!

I was pulled into this story from the very beginning. Possibly even before it started because the last book left me rather desperate to find out what was going to happen next. What do we get in this book? A spunky heroine with a wide streak of angst who doesn’t quite know what she’s doing yet but is going to do it with all her heart anyway. I loved watching Leslie as she learns how to cope with her new life, new skills, and new sort-of-relationship status. Alistair is just as lovable and frustrating as ever. I’d threaten to shake some sense into him, but I don’t think I’m strong enough to shake him as hard as he needs. Even though this story straightens out one of the twisted threads the Norns have woven into Leslie’s tapestry, it also adds new complications. Ones I’m dying to read more about.

Book four to the series brings another action packed story with a strong, well developed cast of colorful characters filled with witches, vampires, werewolves and more and delivers a page turning story line. I was glued to the pages from start to finish with all the twists and turns as well as the mystery. The author brings an adventurous story to life with her vividly painted scenes, moves it quickly and smoothly and has me looking forward to the next book.
