I was really sure no author could hold my attention, book after book, series after series, but I’m very happy to be proven wrong. Not only can Jasmine still hold my attention after 5+ years, she just keeps getting better and raising the bar for her peers. Fantastic writing, interesting and well developed characters and plots, wonderful twists and turns and a style all her own. Brava.
In this book, we follow Liam as he finally closes in on the doctor leading the Pack’s experiments. He literally has her in his grasp when it all goes sideways. Now he’s the one on Utopia’s table. Now that the Alpha has his prize and the secret to his ultimate weapon, how will the Academy ever stop him?
I received an ARC of this book and am leaving my honest opinion.
The good storyline and character development lured me right in from the very beginning and kept me so engrossed in the story that I finished reading this book in one sitting!
A very well written amazing series. It is filled with suspense, drama, danger, intrigue, secrets, twists and turns and so much more. Grabs you and keeps you page after page. Very exciting and so enjoyable. She has to do things to him to save her son. He knows her as his enemy mate. What a mess this is. How do they fix this and still maintain a relationship and life together? I highly recommend it. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a great book !
Utopia is the enemy, or is she ?
In order to save her son, Utopia is forced to do things that she normally would not.
Liam is being tortured by Utopia, his mate.
How ironic ?
She is supposed to be his enemy, but how can he hates his mate ?
Loved the characters + the storytelling !
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Dragon’s Frenemy by Jasmine Wylder is the second book in her Blaze Ops – A Curvy Girl Military Romance series. This series is sizzling hot, but that is what I have come to expect from Ms. Wylder. Liam and Utopia’s journey is fraught with trust issues, drama, spicy heat and passion. This amazing read pulled me in from the first page and kept me second guessing what I thought I knew. (Just like Liam!) Fantastic and immersive world building, characters that are well written and developed to the point that you can feel their emotions. This book is best enjoyed by reading the series in order. Mature Readers Only Please.
This honest and voluntary review was made possible by reading an advance copy.
I was completely ensnared within the first few pages by this intriguing dragon shifter romance & I enjoyed reading it. The well-paced plot is well-written & entertaining with some unexpected suspenseful events/situations. The characters are well-developed & have good chemistry between them although they are inclined to be distrustful & portray confrontational attitudes. There is: a female doctor & snow leopard (Utopia Tennet) has been blackmailed into experimenting on a dragon shifter (Captain Liam Young) who has been taken as a prisoner but he is determined to escape with her, Utopia’s son (Aiden), various kinds of shifters, friendship, twists & turns, intrigue, drama, secrets, mystery, action, adventure, deceit, betrayal, danger, threats, conflict, violence, conflict, captured, devious plans, unethical experiments, research, escape, verbal conflict, anger, regrets, apologies, manipulations, compromises, prejudices, devious plans, dishonesty, confrontations, injuries, some steam, love, contentment & a satisfying conclusion. I would recommend this book
