I’m not her knight in shining armor. I’m her downfall. She just doesn’t know it yet. When I’m not in school, I make extra cash working as a model. My favorite photographer to work with?Ailee Walsh. And not just because she’s so sexy she should be in the shots with me.Although that reason is definitely up there. With her dark hair and white skin, Ailee reminds me of a princess. The woman makes my head … Ailee reminds me of a princess.
The woman makes my head swim and my stomach tangle up in ropes.
Not to mention what she does to other parts of me…
The last time I saw her, she was married. So I did my job and left.
However, I never stopped thinking about her. Not once.
Now, a year later, the ring on her finger is gone.
There’s nothing stopping me from going after what I want.
Not even the destructive road my life is on…
Being with Ailee would be like a fairytale.
Too bad I’m no f*cking prince.

He’s loosing time.
Tyler Hale is a handsome young man. He lost some time eight months ago, but nothing was figured out.
A chance to work with Ailee, a much older (like turning the big 50), recently divorced, photographer has him in a twitter.
What I liked?
How many obstacles can this writer throw at this couple? Seriously!
But I loved that Tyler was so much younger than Ailee. I liked that she knew herself and was done birthin’ babies. I loved Tyler and his steadfast determination to be with her despite his very unusual diagnosis.
Highly recommend because it’s so unexpected.

Romance Rehab: Book recs, author services, general badassery: https://www.romancerehab.com/
If you’re into authors who torture the crap out their heroes and readers, L.E. Wilson is for you.
Plot overview: There’s not much I can give away here. Tyler is a youngish male model, Ailee is a 50-year-old photographer. He wants her more than anything, she resists because of the age difference and other reasons that can’t be named for fear of spoilers, and sexy times ensue. But Tyler has some…issues he’s trying to work through that could ruin everything for him.
I’m just going to give y’all a warning up front. If you aren’t a fan of angst, you’ll want to back away from this book slowly. The angst jumps off the pages and smacks you in the face. Don’t get me wrong—I like it. I’m not normally a fan of heavy angst, but this author’s style totally works for me. If you’re looking for light, fluffy reading, though…this ain’t it.
First of all, I find it SUPER refreshing to read about a 50-something heroine getting her happily ever after with a hot man in his early 30s.
Given how many young, virginal heroines there are in Romancelandia, divorced, 50-year-old heroines with stretch marks and realistic body types are something I’d love to see more of going forward.
That said, I will admit that I loved Tyler more than Ailee. Ailee had a tendency to second guess why Tyler would find her attractive, and I found that a little annoying. But I cut her a good bit of slack because in a real-life similar situation, I can’t say that her reaction seemed unlikely or unrealistic. I just wished she was more confident and able to tell herself, “Yes, of course this hot young thing wants me. I’m a smart, successful, curvy, gorgeous woman and he’d be lucky to have me.”
And poor, poor Tyler. The author really did torture the crap out of him. He’s about as beaten and damaged as a romance hero can be. I was super invested in his happily ever after after reading about everything he was going through.
I’ll also say this: Nothing really bad happens to the dog. I was incredibly worried about this early on, so all you animal lovers in the audience can rest easy. The dog is fine.
Completely off topic, I know there’s a guy on the cover of this book who matches the character’s description, but in a movie adaptation of this book, Adam Driver would KILL the role of Tyler. Just sayin’…you know, in case any Hollywood types are in the audience.
In fact, can I just make it clear that I think Adam Driver should be offered pretty much any roles he wants? But I digress…
But anyhoo, I can’t really say more than that without giving away spoilers, so I’ll just leave it at that–except to add that lovers of angsty, super emotional contemporary romance should download this one immediately.
