Mickey Miller brings you both The Lying Game and The End Game, now in one complete Duet!Living with a sexy-as-sin roommate in a luxury penthouse should be a fantasy brought to life, right? Not when it’s Carter Flynn–my teenage crush–who hates my guts. When I’m in town for a once in a lifetime dance camp, my living arrangements fall through at the last second.I have no other option but to crash … last second.
I have no other option but to crash with my childhood family friend…turned millionaire athlete.
He still hasn’t forgiven me for the lie I told him years ago that shattered his heart.
But underneath it all, there are shades of the same boy I used to know, before his heart turned to stone.
I can tell myself all I want that I hate him, too. But deep in my heart, I know I’ve never wanted anyone more in my life.
When you’re playing the lying game, the most dangerous lies are the lies you tell yourself.
Includes both THE LYING GAME and THE END GAME!

I absolutely love this duet! The story of Carter and Lacy kept me hooked it was a long road for them. Full of all the emotions. Heartbreak, angst, and forgiveness. I love that this is the complete duet, so you do not have to wait to continue on to see what happens. I would definitely recommend it!
This was great! I’m glad I read this duet together. One book was definitely not enough!
I wanted to scream at both Carter and Lacy a time or two. Both did dumb things and made stupid assumptions while trying to figure out if their mutual attraction could lead somewhere. I expected that. But I didn’t expect such excitement and intrigue in the second half of this duet! I can’t say I wasn’t expecting it but it was definitely entertaining from beginning to end! 5 stars!
This is the first time that I got to read these books and I am so happy that I was able to get the chance. I love a good enemies to lovers’ story and for it to be a sports romance as well, I feel like I hit the jackpot. These are two of my favorite tropes. Carter and Lacy were childhood friends but things happened and that friendship changed to hatred. Watching them navigate around each other again and realize that the feelings that they had for each other never left was so good. Loved every second of this set and to be able to go right into book 2 after the cliffhanger was a joy. I am not a fan of cliffhangers when I have to wait for the next book to come out. If you haven’t had to pleasure of reading Carter and Lacy’s story, you need to get this set. You won’t be disappointed at all. A definite one click. Highly recommend it.
I’m glad I finally purchased this duet and made it a priority to read them. In general, I really enjoy Mickey Miller’s writing. I’ve come to realize that it’s because I’m curious to see how well a man can write romance. Every time I finish one of his books, it’s further confirmed that he’s wildly capable of writing for a female audience. Kudos!
I wasn’t totally sold on Carter Flynn when his character was first introduced. I truly thought it would be another total jock story about how many jersey chasers he could bed. I was hooked on finding out about Carter and Lacy’s past and what made them hate each other.
Carter and Lacy’s story also made me consider, and reflect on, how often people hold grudges and how frequently those grudges are held onto for the wrong reasons. I’m seriously glad that I purchased the duet because I absolutely HATED the ending of The Lying Game. What a cruel and unusual punishment for your readers, especially those who bought them before the duet was released. It’s almost as big of a cliffhanger as D. Kelly’s Just an Illusion – Side A.
Other than some minor grammar and spelling errors (ie. using Chandler instead of Carter), this duet was a great read!
The story of Lacy, who moves to Chicago for the summer to try out for a spot in a prestigious dancing program in New York. Her planned living arrangements fall through though and she ends up living with an acquaintance from her hometown. The only problem is: she hates his guts. Carter is the boy next door who likewise despises Lacy for a slight against him that he sees as unforgivable. However, he begrudgingly lets her stay with him as a favor to his mother because they’d always pretended to like each other and he wishes to keep up the charade.
This book ends the games in an immensely satisfying way. It’s always a treat to read a Mickey Miller book and this is no exception. If you like alpha males who like to play and acquaintances-to-lover romances, you’ll definitely want to give this one a shot. I greatly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to see what Mr. Miller had in store for us next.
The Lying Game -book #1
Best yet!!!!
Oh Carter and Lacy,,,, where do I start with these two!!! This book was filled with so much angst, and love/hate, that it kept me on the edge! The games these two play! Haha!!! And lacy’s best friend, Lance, gah! Love him!!
This book has it all! There’s a little of all Mickey’s series tied into this one, and we get to revisit one of my favorite characters ever!!
This book ends in a cliffy, but no worries, the next one comes out soon!
If you like angst, you’ll love this! If you want a lot of laughs, you’ll love this! If you like enemies to lovers, you’ll love this!!
This is a MUST read!!
The End Game – book #2
Holy Crap!!!! What a way to end the Duet! This is the continuation of the first book, The Lying Game, so you NEED to read that first!
Carter and Lacey have had their share of issues with each other, but through it all, they always loved each other, even if they were to stubborn to admit it. In this final book, Mickey Miller ties in characters from the Blackwells Series, and oh man did this get deep! There are twists and turns I never saw coming! Just when you think you know, BAM, plot twist! I really enjoyed this series and I know you will too! Now, if only we could get a book on Joseph and Lance!
This 2 Book Duet was so worth the read! Both books were so well written with wonderfully created characters that I was totally engaged as I read both books until the very last page!
Wow! What an amazing Duet! I loved it! It was an emotional ride of twists and turns, drama, danger and hot, steamy sexiness! I loved Carter and Lacy! They’ll make you laugh, cry and through your arms up and ask why! They had explosive chemistry probably because they never stopped loving each other. The Lying Game Duet was such a fantastic story! I recommend it to everyone! Read it a you’ll love it too!
Lying Games:
“So as our eyes lock, I feel like he’s the hunter with precision focus, and I’m his doe-eyed prey.”
Childhood friends, turned enemies are forced together many years later that erupted into a tension filled hate-to-love thrill ride between two very strong willed characters that left me swooning, laughing, and fanning myself. Carter is a hard nut to crack, has a ton of issues and drove me nuts the entire time in a good way, because when his light bulb finally lit up, I was mesmerized by the transformation!! Keep in mind this is a duet, however, so you’ll get your fill of angsty happenings and unanswered questions that leave you salivating for the conclusion.
“Carter’s broken me. I’m utterly and totally at his mercy.”
With a host of fun secondary characters, an uber alpha male, and strong female lead you have a combination that left me glued to the pages. It was fun, hot, and intermingled with a whole host of deeper backstories begging to be investigated!! I absolutely cannot wait for the next book and I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!
“He’s broken down my heart’s defenses, and all I can do is eagerly accept his assault.”

The End Game:
“To possess her, is what I want. I want her to be all mine, to have and to hold and to cherish.”
So much happened in this book, it was unreal!! Hot as all get out, pulse-pounding, angsty, really left me breathless and swooning!! The HEA was so worth all the moments that you thought it wouldn’t happen, and how the story was all tied together was crazy!! This duet will take you for a ride and I think most readers with fall in love with this couple as much as I did! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!
“My heart swirls with all the mixed emotions I’ve felt for him over the past few days. Weeks. Years.”

THE LYING GAME
Wow, this is a very good enemy to lover’s sports romance. An engaging story that will keep you captivated and glued to the pages of this fascinating storyline and the momentum of the story keeps you wanting to read more. This was a perfect blend of lust, steam, a little humor, and navigating the angst of love with the added complication of the lying game. Carter Flynn is very handsome, sexy, and hot as hell that you know you will get burned. He is a professional basketball player who is a millionaire and very arrogant, egotistical, overconfident, piously virtuous, and impatient—he does not beg anyone and he has little tolerance for anyone who lies. Lacy Benson is a dancer and she has known Carter since childhood, but a lie has changed their relationship to a love/hate relationship. What was the lie and who was responsible for it? Are the most dangerous lies the ones you tell yourself? Since this lie was told, Carter and Lacy hated each other—not dislike—not begrudgingly tolerate—hate! Lacy needs a favor from Carter, but the tension between them has reached its boiling point, and Lacy discovered that maybe she does not hate Carter, and maybe he doesn’t hate her—or maybe this is just another game. Is it or is it not a lying game? You will love this book, and it will draw you in from the beginning to the end.
THE END GAME
Wow, this book is simply phenomenal! This is the epic conclusion of the duet of the Love Games. Carter Flynn made a grave mistake by letting Lacy leave for New York. The tension between Lacy and Carter has reached its boiling point. Still, Lacy is not willing to give him another chance because Carter is not one to make a commitment. When they finally see each other again, the chemistry is off-the-charts hot, but will Lacy be able to trust Carter knowing there will be no commitment? Will Lacy need to move on? If you are looking for a love story like no other you have read before, then this is definitely the book for you. I highly recommend this duet–you won’t regret it!
This is the perfect way to get these two wonderful reads with one simple click and no pesky wait time due to that cliffhanger at the end of book one. This duet includes:
The Lying Game (Love Games, #1)
This is a great read and a fantastic start to this duet. It is book one of two, so prepare yourself for a cliffhanger. The book features a well written and engaging storyline, complicated characters and lots of powerful emotions. Lacy and Carter’s romance is an enemies to lovers story. Emotions run very high and there is plenty of tension between these two as their past and present are forced to collide. Past sins and repressed feelings will have to be dealt with if these two can ever move forward. A very entertaining and enjoyable read. Eagerly awaiting the conclusion in book two.
The End Game (Love Games, #2)
This is conclusion of Carter and Lacey story and it brings all the powerful emotions, drama, steam, twists, intensity and angst you could ever want. I love these characters and have been rooting for them every step of the way. Carter and Lacey’s chemistry is sizzling and the scenes between them are smoking hot. Unfortunately, even though they have been through quite a bit, they have more hurdles to clear before they get that HEA. Can Carter redeem himself and win back Lacey? Read this enjoyable book to see for yourself. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
I loved Carter’s and Lacey’s story. I laughed, cried, sighed and swooned many times! I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to see how things would turn out. Yes, Carter and Lacey do have their HEA – but make no mistake, it’s not a quick journey. Carter has to work and prove himself – as he should! I also loved the cameos with characters from previous books. I don’t know about anyone else, but I grow to love my favorite characters and am always glad to see them pop up in a story. Finally, count your luck stars that this duet is bundled together so there is no wait for the conclusion!
