So glad Charlotte and Ryan got a second chance at love. There were some surprises in this story and some frustrating moments, but overall I liked Ryan and his friends and brothers, as well as Charlotte’s friends and family. They were fun, supportive and willing to kick them in the pants when needed. I’m anxious to read the rest of the series.
I really enjoyed Ryan and Charlotte’s story. I love the relationship of all these brothers and how they step up to support one another. This story has a happily ever after and is a sweet, clean romance.
Great start to a series by Taylor Hart. This book explores second chances, forgiveness, family and standing up for oneself. The characters and the growth they show through the experiences in the book is interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it.
Amazing story-line; excellent writing; and, a book you can’t stop reading! There are military heroes, cowboys, small town antics, and hugs. There is a small boy named Sam who I want to take home with me and bad guys I want to forget. When boy meets girl many years ago, it was for keeps but they were too young to realize it. After all, she was eleven and he was twelve. Through hard times and life changing moments, they never really forgot each other and this book is their story. I don’t know what else to say but that this book can be read by anyone, enjoyed by all and it will be in your dreams. Thanks to the author for a great job of writing.
I started this series with book 5 and now I’m going back. It spoke pretty heavily of fate but turned more Christian at the end. However, that beginning stuff coupled with the palm reading kinda put me off. Despite that all, I really did enjoy these characters and this second chance romance. There were adventures and twists. I liked the former military angle too.
4.5
Ryan has not been back to Hidden Falls for seven years after his heart was broken but now he is back to buy a ranch. Charlotte and Ryan was once a couple but she married someone else and now is divorced with a son and a bookstore to run so she has no time for dating. Enjoyed reading this emotional romance and how Ryan and Charlotte get their second chance at a relationship.
This was one twisty, curvy story with romance, secrets, regrets, forgiveness and suspense. Charlotte and Ryan were so in love then tragedy struck. Years later and he is back but is this good or bad for her? I kept thinking things would calm down but no it was a rollercoaster ride until the very end. It was well worth the ride. Great ending and a good start to the series.
This is such a good book!

& intriguing romance.
Ryan Charlotte, steal your heart.
With a few twist & turns, it will keep you
wondering till the very last page.
It has the small town charm & the comfort of family. Second chance romance at it’s finest. Can’t wait for Kent’s book!
