All Haley Jones wants for her eighteenth birthday is answers. Thanks to an overprotective dad and a secluded existence in the Sierra Nevada wilderness, Haley has never experienced a typical life. Her dad claims there’s a good reason for their isolation, but he refuses to tell her why, delaying her questions with the promise of answers when she turns eighteen. That day has finally arrived, but the … the explanation raises more questions than answers. And when Haley wishes for the chance to explore the world, she finds that the old adage rings true—be careful what you wish for.

I love Haley and the guys , a great start to a series, I want a Knox if my own please!!! I can’t wait to see more!!
This was the first reverse Harem series I ever read. I honestly didn’t know it was a reverse harem until later in the series. I originally stayed away from them because I didn’t think I would like there being multiple love interests in a romance, but the authors of the stardust series make you fall so hard for all the boys that there is honestly no way for her to choose between them. Since reading, and falling in love with this series, I have read multiple Reverse Harem series and this series is by far my favorite. It is definitely a slow burn series, meaning it takes a while for their to be any juicy scenes, but it makes those steamy scenes so much better! I find in a lot of the other reverse harems I’ve read that they develop so fast that I have a hard time differentiating the multiple love interests form each other, but in this series the character development, and each relationship with the main character (Haley) is so unique that you have no issue with that at all. For a series to stand out to me a it has to have characters that I fall in love with and I can honestly say I love all of them in this series. I highly recommend this series!
Why have I never read these books before?!?
I had heard a lot about the Stardust series by Julia Clarke and Autumn Reed before but for some reason I never had time to pick them up. I was on a work trip last week and decided to get book 1 on audio for the plane trip and I am so glad I did! This series is addicting, let me tell you!!
First, the storyline: I loved Haley and her tenacious attitude. I loved her inner monologues and her apprehension and cautiousness seemed genuine and not love at first sight, let’s trust a handful of strangers who keep appearing to kidnap me. She has a logical thought process which I can appreciate. I enjoyed getting to meet all the guys and see how she slowly adapts to her new surroundings when her life goes to crap. Couldn’t wait to pick up book 2!
Secondly, the narration: I loved Emily Lawrence’s performance and have definitely added her to my top 10 narrator list! As I mentioned before I hadn’t read the books before listening but I think based on the story I have heard, she embodies Haley and the guys. I think she does a great job with the different women and men characters, pleasantly surprised by her rendition of Liam. Great job, have already gotten the rest of the series available so I can continue to listen
Last but not least…the guys!!! Daaaang these guys are all so different but so awesome at the same time. Not sure how I feel about Liam and Jackson but I will find out soon since I am currently listening to Draco as I review this . I thought I would connect with Ethan the most because of his nerdy tendencies (totally my kryptonite!!) but definitely am loving the brothers and Chase the most
This is a much loved book and I have reread it several times. I enjoy Haley a lot. Maybe I’m biased because I’ve read all Autumn’s books but I have reread all the books at least one. Haley her dad goes missing ND she is found by a group of guys. Shnot trusting them right away but doesn’t have much choice to go with them. The guys take an interest in Haley and she’s not really seeing it right away. Awesome book!
