I’ve been stolen… by mistakeOne minute I’m chilling in my dorm. The next, I’m abducted by aliens and dropped into an arena.Alien creatures. Strange weapons. Cheering spectators. And an opponent who is seven feet tall — not including his horns. He looks like he wants to eat me alive, and he’s got the fangs to do it with. He looks like he wants to crush me into the dust, and he’s got the thick … into the dust, and he’s got the thick slabs of muscle to make that happen.
But he swears he won’t hurt me — quite the opposite, in fact. He’s going to make me feel pleasure beyond my wildest dreams.
He’s got a plan.
If we work together we can escape.
The only problem?
His plan sounds like way more than this little earthling can handle.

This was a story that was both funny and weird at the same time. Too improbable to be taken seriously. It had moments of greatness that amused me with it’s descriptions of aliens mating to the roar of the crowds watching. The occuring spectacle in an a Colesseum reminiscent of ancient Rome and the gladiators who fought there to the death. If you are a fan of the ridiculious you may enjoy this book, I personally was not impressed.

“let the games…begin!”
—>>> Taken from her bed by three purple-eyed aliens, awakening to find herself naked, and referred to as “chattel,”the next life-changing words she hears is “You’ve been selected the Droxonian gladiatorial competition… You’ve been specially selected for your unusual promiscuity and high degree of sexual experience for a human.” Unfortunately, it was her roommate they were supposed to take, because she DEFINITELY fit the bill! Terra Hobson finds herself captive in a galactic fight-club…only it was not fighting they were expected to perform – these gladiatorial games are renowned in the Droxonian sector, and spectators come for the sport of watching gladiator males claim females. Terra, as a rare human female captive, will be paired with one of the most ferocious alien beasts known as a Gnuroxian, equally rare for the arena. But perhaps Terra and Gworgax’s pairing may just work to both of their advantage, after all. An entertaining read from a new-to-me author!
This is a story with an odd setup where a human woman, Terra, is kidnapped by three shadowy forms with purple eyes, and ends up in an alien warrior arena for a fight to the death – with very strange rules. In this competition, the one who reaches the big “O” first in a sexual battle is the one who dies. Her partner, or opponent in this situation, is a male alien, Gworgax, who doesn’t want to hurt her – what a nice guy! (Or, considering the arena rules, maybe that’s not a noble thing after all!) Will they team up and escape this crazy situation? Will one of them “win” while the other goes out with a bang? (Oops, sorry… didn’t mean to let that slip.)
Anyway, you can see that this could be a very interesting story line and should be able to hold your attention while the reader finds out if there is any hope of survival or whether the fighters can figure out a way to drop out of the game! (Hmmm, what happens if you are caught “cheating”?) The characters actually are well-written and humor is always the thing I enjoy most in a book. Have fun with this one!
Fast paced story that will keep you reading till the last page and looking for more. This book has it all from, danger, drama, suspece, action, fear, and most of all love/lust passion, whatever you want to call it. You have an arena, a human female, an hunky alien male who are forced to fight in gladiator games of the sexy kind. (Sign me up) Great book, great story. Need to read this to find out what happens. Lizzy Bequin has become one of my go to favorite writers. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A short story that had me laughing as I read, that poor woman Terra has listened to her roommate bring a lot of different me to their room, she gets kidnapped because of a case of mistaken identity. Gworgax and her join forces when she is dumped in the alien arena. I enjoyed reading Kruggah’s part in the story she kept me smiling. It’s a little short, I would have liked it to have been a longer story. However, I still found it cute and liked the spin the author put on the story.

Wow, I absolutely enjoyed reading this exciting Sci-fi alien romance & it certainly kept my attention until the end. The plot is well-written & filled with some unexpected events or unusual situations. The unique characters are well-developed & react with realistic emotions to the unconventional circumstance they find themselves in.
There is: a young human female (Terra) is mistakenly abducted & thrown into a alien arena to fight, her alien opponent (Gworgax) promises to make her death quick & painless but she is not going to go down with a fight, various kinds of aliens, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, mystery, abduction, action, adventure, misunderstandings, taunts, terror, confusion, vengeful feelings, mates, threats, violence conflict, deceit, devious plans, determination, desperation, manipulations, confusion, escape, discipline, spankings, playfulness, steamy scenes, happiness, contentment & a well-deserved satisfying epilogue.
What a great story. The story line is unique. Gladiator games were the first one to cum dies. What a concept.
Terra is shy when it comes to men, but she’s also strong and smart. She uses her brain to help get her and her “competition” out of the arena. After all she shouldn’t be here. It was suppose to be her room mate. But how she does that is awesome and clever. With the help of her “competition” they have to figure out a way to win and escape.
Gworgx is of course the strong and sometimes stronger hero. Getting caught on purpose so he can get his revenge for his brother’s death. He finds himself in a predicament. Get his revenge or save his possible mate.
Loved the secondary characters. Zeera, who tries to protect/ get her ready for the games. And the antics of Kruggah. She was fun to read.
Everyone thought “humans” were stupid and not strong. Boy were they wrong.
Loved the twists and of course the arena action.
This is my first book from this amazing author and I’m sure it won’t be my last.
I would recommend this book.
Lizzy Bequin has been a must read author for me for some time now and this book only solidifies that decision. Ms. Bequin has a way of grabbing onto her readers from the 1st page to the last with her amazing storytelling and world building. Her characters are so delightfully flawed that you can’t help cheer for their happily ever after. Gworgax and Terra’s story is one of survival and realizing that sometimes you are put into a situation for reasons other than you originally thought. This is one wild roller coaster of ride and an unusual plot line but know that if you strap in and take this ride you won’t be sorry. You might want to have a tall glass of ice tea and a fan on hand though. This story has everything that you could want; comedy, action, drama, danger, conflict and of course hot, hot romance (it is a Lizzy Bequin story after all). Please don’t miss this one.
I really enjoyed. It was an awesome book. There’s quite a bit if action. A very erotic book. The editing was a little rough but other than that, I loved it.
An interesting twist on the alien gladiator trope! What starts off as a regular alien abduction story becomes more as you read it, lol, you know, because alien abductions are normal until the first twist falls into place. Tessa is kind of a doormat at the beginning, then she’s thrust into a situation that is so far out of her realm that she has to adjust. To quote Shakespeare and Twelfth Night, “Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.” This is an excellent example of this very thing happening. Tessa begins to morph into a pawn in Gworgax plan, until she helps the plan evolve. So, I loved this story from the beginning, right through the filthy gladiator games, another pivot from the original gladiator ideation model, which is so freaking awesome in its implementation. The wrap-up at the end is kind of lame, but since the story up to that point is highly readable, this point is easily put aside. I highly recommend reading this book, it’s hard to put down once you start reading it.
The Captive in a Alien Arena. The twists in this great story just adds spice to an already exciting and adventurous tale that will shock you. I highly recommend this tale. This was a wonderful book.
