When the storm … storm strands Aria, he jumps at the opportunity to come to her rescue. Getting stuck in a hotel without power is a bonus. As long as the snow continues to fall, he has a shot to make her love him again.
For the first time in her life, Aria takes a chance and invites Hawk into her bed. But when the snow stops, and the power comes back on, she will have to choose between the man who lights the way, and the one who has left her in the dark.

This is a heartwarming, yet sexy read-it-in-one-sitting contemporary romance! Aria and Hawk were married and divorced and face real-life struggles. They’ve both forged new beginnings for themselves, but they get a second chance at love when a snowstorm brings them together in close proximity for the weekend. A wonderful reminder that real love is worth the hard work of building trust and risking your heart to grab what you need with both hands!
I liked this story of a divorced couple who find their way back to each other during a winter storm but I feel like I missed the beginning of the movie. There is not enough backstory to show how this couple ended up divorced but still loving each other. Due to things that are revealed early on, Hawk is a tarnished hero in my eyes and even though I do believe he regrets everything and that he has changed, I can’t fault Aria for her reluctance to trust him, although she proves less than angelic herself. In any case, this is an emotional story and despite the mistakes they made, I totally believed in the love between this couple. This story held my interest right to the dramatic conclusion.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
Aria and Hawk had their problems and got divorced. Now she’s engaged to a stable man and on a snowy road to a wedding. She’s a wedding planner. She gets stranded on a snowy road and guess who shows up, yep Hawk. He has his problems but he wants his ex wife back. Second chance love. HEA
The storyline was wonderfully written and the characters were so well defined that Aria and Hawk kept me turning the pages until the very end!
I REALLY ENJOYED NO MORE DARKNESS. I ENJOYED THE CHARACTERS ARIA AND HAWK. THE STORY GRABS YOU FROM THE START AND KEEPS YOU THROUGHOUT. THIS IS A VERY WELL WRITTEN BOOK THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND READING.

A book with a well written story line that pulls the reader in. It’s a quick read but there’s a lot of story between the covers. A second chance romance with great characters and it holds your interest and keeps you turning the pages.

This book is a fairly quick read, but I can’t say it’s a light one. As both the child of an alcoholic and the former spouse of one (even though he would never admit to it), there were parts of this story that were extremely rough for me to read. I’m also not a fan of books with cheating in them. This one skates a fine line of technicalities and, depending on your personal opinion, could be called either way. I appreciated the way it’s handled. Aria is very clear, at least with herself, that she’s making this decision. I could wish that some of her subsequent actions were a little different, though. I have some really mixed reactions about Hawk. He broke my heart but there were times I wanted to smack him too. I’m not going to discuss my thoughts about Patrick because then I’m likely to spoil some reader’s experiences. Would I have handled this the same way Aria does? Yes and no. Did I love reading her story? One hundred percent absolutely.

What if you had to conquer your daemons and get on the right track?
No More Darkness, another great book by one of my favorite authors, is a second chance romance with depth!
Aria is trying to put her former husband, Hawk, out of her mind … she’s now engaged to Peter and her wedding planning business is off to a great start. She’s got a “breakout” wedding in her sights when a snowstorm takes everything off course.
…. or does it? Peter is calling, and calling, and calling. The hotel is full, Hawk saves her … again … and he’s changed and asking for a second chance. This book also tackles tough subjects: childhood abuse, alcoholism, death of a family member, while giving one hope for the future
