A handsome and successful executive with a fear of commitment.A gorgeous redhead who lied to get her family off her back.Put them together, and you get one hell of a complicated fake engagement.I could never say no to a charming young woman–even one who lied about being engaged. Liz is sweet but a bit naive. She’s gotten herself into a bind, so I go along with it. Twirl her around the dance … with it. Twirl her around the dance floor. Make nice with her family. Kiss her when her ex comes sniffing around.
Spending time with this bright, intriguing woman is no hardship. It’s fun spoiling her the way a good fiancé should. But it’s not real. It’s a role to play, and I’ve always been a good actor.
In the theater, the act ends when the curtain falls. In real life, will I be able to extract myself from this situation before Liz gets hurt?

Holy Saffron!!
Mia Madison delivers on the spice that’s for sure. The author brings a talent to storytelling that I couldn’t help but to appreciate. All of the characters, especially Liz and Jackson were written so well. So what do you do when you have a fake fiancé? I wholeheartedly suggest diving in to this novel to get a few tips from Liz. And I can’t wait to see what will be next in the Red Hot series.

This is book number 4 in the Red Hot series and it can be read as a standalone. I loved reading the story of Liz and Jackson. Liz tells a lie to her family that she is engaged and that her fiancee will be coming to her grandparents 50th wedding anniversary party. When this supposed fiancee doesn’t show up Jackson agrees to step in and play the role which is lie number #2. There relationship started as a dare between Liz and Jackson’s friends but it grows into so much more and it becomes more real than fake. But Jackson has a fear of commitment that it gets in the way of his relationship with Liz. The chemistry between these two is crazy and the lines between real and fake start to become blurry. Can they both put there past behind them and move forward with there relationship. This is a 5 star read hands down.

Jackson and Liz will have you laughing, crying and cheering for them. What started as very different for each of them turns to great friendship and more as they help each other and learn about the other.

I absolutely loved this book! Liz has broken up with her boyfriend Brett, and she has a plan to introduce her new boyfriend/fiance at her grandparent’s 50th wedding anniversary party, one that her ex and his new girlfriend will be attending. The man who was going to help her doesn’t show, and Jackson Burke pretends to be this man. Liz and Jackson are wonderful characters that are realistic, with definite chemistry, and believable with just enough flaws to relate. This is a terrific story and kept me entertained from the start to finish.

This is nice feel good fake fiancé tale which becomes complicated when Jackson finds out who Liz is. Plus those dares come back to haunt you.
When Liz’s old fashioned grandfather is looking for someone to take over the reins of his company I liked how Jackson pushed Liz to her full potential.
There also that connection & hotness factor between our couple. Great read.

SAFFRON
This is essentially the story of Liz and Jackson. Liz has been dumped by her ex Brett, and he’s apparently moved on. So, in the spur of the moment, she’s told her family that she has moved on too. But… that’s not really true.
Her friend/s organise for a ‘fake fiance’ to accompany her to her grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary celebrations. Liz doesn’t realise that he isn’t able to turn up, and Jackson fills in that role, as a dare/bet from his friend, all unbeknownst to Liz. How will this work out?
There were many other characters that added a lot of depth and interest to this story too. And they all played their parts well. Family members, friends and work colleagues make this an entertaining story!
There’s plenty of drama, angst, jealousy, envy, sweetness, romance, humour, frustration, and good old STEAM! When you throw in family, things like this are almost always bound to happen!
And well… SAFFRON may now be my new favourite spice 😉
This was my first read of Mia Madison’s, and I definitely look forward to more from her!

This story is of Liz Dunlap finds she in need of a fake fiance to take the pressure of herself after a breakup with a ex and her family. now at her grandparents anniversary party she ends up with Jackson a CEO of his own marketing firm working for her grandfather and the lie is even getting bigger. Awesome story
I’ve enjoyed all of the books in this series by Mia Madison and Jackson and Liz’s book is no exception. But, I really would like more mature men! Even those these guys are older, they certainly aren’t wiser. Jackson and Liz’s story starts with a case of mistaken identity, a big lie, and steamy tension. The book is a fast paced, page turner that is a fun ride from start to finish. I can’t wait for the next book!
I received an ARC and this is my honest review.
