“Believe, precious daughter. Only believe.”
MaryLu Tyndall has created a stunning conclusion to an absolutely epic series. This story delves into the depths of faith. Into the battle between light and darkness. And into the power, love, and majesty of the God who is always for His children. Reminding us that even in the darkness, His light can change everything.
Seraphina De Mowbray is Protector of the Spear. She has been chosen for a task that will test the limits of her faith and determination. What she doesn’t count on is a troubled knight with a tortured past committed to saving her.
Damien LaRage is bent on revenge. He has no room left in his life for the faith that commands Seraphina’s life. But when faced with the darkness of both his past and future, he must decide where his strength truly lies. And if he is willing to fight for Seraphina at all costs.
With fascinating storytelling, unique worldbuilding, and incredible themes of God’s power and redemption, this story is a truly wonderful read, and one I highly recommend. (But I’m kinda sad the series is over!)
****Four Stars****
Content Advisories: This book was pretty clean, although there are a few passionate kisses, mentions of infidelity, and two assaults. There are also a few scenes of heavy drinking. One of the main themes of this series is Spiritual warfare, and therefore, there are many interactions with angelic and demonic forces, witchcraft, etc… I would recommend for ages 14-15+ depending on maturity.
Please Note: I received an e-copy of this book for FREE, and a positive review was not required.
Perfectly written!
Wow! MaryLu Tyndall never disappoints! When I received a complimentary copy of this third book in her Protectors of the Spear series, I couldn’t wait it dive right in. I couldn’t put it down. Seraphina’s story wraps up this series perfectly. If you love Medieval Fantasy Romances, you must pick up this series. It will have all of your senses on edge….so much excitement….never a dull moment. Usually whenever I feel so strong about a book, I mention how it should be turned into a movie. But, a don’t believe a movie would do this series justice. There is just too many aspects that would be lost on the editing floor. Bravo Ms. Tyndall! You’ve done it again!
I was given a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to give a favorable review nor was any money received for this review. All opinions are my own.
“We must pray. We pray, we plan and then we fight.’
MaryLu Tyndall brings us her ‘Protectors of the Spear’ series to a completely satisfying conclusion with this book.
Seraphina deMowbray is now the one carrying the sacred spear and she must guard it with her life for there are those who seek to steak it for their own good. Sir Damien LaRage journeys with her to the king’s castle where there is much evil afoot. Her dear friends and members of the king’s Elite Guard are suspected of witchcraft and are in hiding, so Seraphina must try and persuade the king to pardon them. But she has to wade through a host of evil that seeks to hinder her at every turn.
I love the medieval era and Tyndall is very adept at this genre. I have been eagerly waiting for this novel and I was not one bit disappointed! Tyndall is quite good at bringing spiritual warfare into her books and it is incorporated here so well. God does indeed fight for us. ‘Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle not yours, but God’s. (2 Chronicles 20:15b) Highly recommended.
*My thanks to the publisher and author for a copy of this book. No review was required and the opinions expressed here are entirely my own.
A perfect end to this trilogy. Tyndall expertly weaves the stories of Alexia, Cristiana and Seraphina in this last of the three books. Though entertaining, as all good fiction books should be, there were some very powerfully spiritual moments for me in this (and the other two) books that became as acts of worship whilst I read – something I have surprisingly found in every Tyndall book I’ve read that sets her apart from many other Christian historical romance authors. Seraphina best sums it up as she reflects near the book’s end that, in a moment, “[s]he went from plebeian to Princess, from condemned to free, from failure to victory.” And it is in that relationship, we have access, through the Holy Spirit, to do great and mighty things for His kingdom and to His glory.
This is a Christian themed book with strong characters, clean romance and an exciting plot! It has many examples of how prayer defeats the powers of darkness.
No Spoiler review: I have highly anticipated “She Walks in Majesty”! I have fallen in love with each of the characters (ok maybe not LeGode or Drogo) in this series! I honestly hate to say goodbye to these amazing characters that feel like friends! MaryLu always touches my heart with each of her stories. Her characters face real development and growth on both a personal and a spiritual level.
In all three Protector of the Spear books MaryLu boldly pens an epic tale that is enchanting and speaks of the power of our amazing Heavenly Father. She shows us a glimpse of the all mighty hand of God and the miracles that He alone is capable of!
From the first sentence till the last I was captivated! At moments I realized I was holding my breath. Since book one I have looked forward to hearing he inner most thoughts of the ever-faithful Seraphina; and I have looked forward to the budding relationship between her and Damien blossoming!
I HIGHLY recommend you read “She Walks in Majesty”
You will NOT be disappointed! The power of God, Medieval times, Knights, Ladies and Warlocks… what else could you ask for? It’s no wonder why MaryLu remains my favorite author throughout all the years I have been reading her books!

She Walks in Majesty is the third story in MaryLu Tyndall’s Protector of the Spear series. This story is full of action, romance, and friendships. If you haven’t had a chance to read the first two in the series, I recommend you start with those first. The whole series takes you on a journey of growth and strength, challenges and joys. You will truly see good versus evil in this story. I love how in the end, the good always ends.
This story has a lot happening in it and, as always, Tyndall does a great job weaving all the elements and writes a fast-paced story that is sure to keep you up late reading!
The ending of this story was so good and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did!

What a fitting conclusion to the Protectors of the Spear series! I have enjoyed every one of these books so far and this one was no exception.
She Walks in Majesty follows Seraphina, as the role as a protector of the legendary Spear of Destiny, falls to her. She is accompanied on her journey by the handsome yet conflicted Damien LaRage who has plans of his own for the Spear.
We follow these two from the Emerald forest to the palace in Regalis where loyalty, intrigue, betrayal and spiritual warfare awaits! Seraphina sets out to clear her friend’s names and restore the D’Clere sisters to their rightful place as the ladies of their manor but in the process she finds restoration and healing for her own wounds as well!
A must read for anyone who enjoys romance, sword fighting and flawed, relatable characters!
Thank you so much to the author for giving me a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. I was not asked to write a positive review and I did not receive any monetary gain for my review. All opinions are my own.
I truly enjoyed this book. The author elegantly wrote about the setting, so you felt like you could visually see what was going on. From the beginning of the book, I was intrigued and wanted to continue reading. I loved how the two main characters (Seraphina and Damien) seemed to be from different worlds, yet their stories intertwined. They both struggled with their own things, and it was amazing to walk through it with them, and see how they overcame it through God. The ending was absolutely phenomenal to end the series, (although I would love to continue reading about the characters from all 3 books). I was on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen, the suspense was killing me (lol). I loved that the characters had depth to them, which you couldn’t see from the surface until the author dug a little deeper. I was surprised with how some characters where revealed later in the book, but it was awesome because it was not like other books where you can guess what happens from the beginning. This book (and series) is definitely worth reading!!!

When I finished the second book in the Protectors Of The Spear Series, “She Walks In Love,” I couldn’t wait until “She Walks In Majesty” was released. In this historical romance fantasy world, Tyndall creates a medieval world where kings, warlocks and greedy men will do anything to gain power – and all believe that power is within the spear tip that pierced Christ’s side. Throughout the series, the guardian charged with protecting the spear changes in each book among a tight circle of friends trying to fight the evil of their day. In “She Walks In Majesty,” the story concludes with a satisfying, yet, suspenseful tale. It was all I hoped for and more!
The first thing that I loved about the third installment of this story was how the author changed up the setting. If you’re familiar with the first two books, you’ll remember that Seraphina, Alexia and Cristiana and their friends have been hiding out in the forest, trying to clear their names. This book focuses on Seraphina and how she bravely goes to court in hopes of helping her friends. I really liked the court setting – it was different from the first two books, yet complemented the existing storyline.
With that being said, I also enjoyed how the author kept up with Alexia and Cristiana’s part in the story. The chapters would go back and forth between court and what was happening in the forest. It was like a drama where new information kept being added and you didn’t have to wait long to see how it all fit together. By the time the story ended, you felt like you had full closure on what happened to all the characters!
And last but not least, we can’t move on without talking about the hero, Sir Damien LaRage. Tyndall’s hero’s are my favorites because they always have some tragic flaw that makes you want to slap them AND a huge heart that makes you wish you were the heroine receiving their affection. Damien was no different. There were times I was so disappointed because I didn’t want him to be an alcoholic in the story. (I wanted him to be perfect, ya’ know?) Yet, the story was better for it because you saw him struggle with that addiction and eventually beat it.
Conclusion: “She Walks In Majesty” was the perfect conclusion to the Protectors Of The Spear Series. Y’all, let me tell you there were some surprises in there I didn’t see coming! And that’s why I loved this book so much; I enjoyed the twists, turns and drama that came with every page. If you enjoy books set in a medieval setting that have a fair share of romance and suspense, then you need to check out this series!
She Walks in Majesty is the third book in MaryLu Tyndall’s Protector of the Spear series. Alexia Walked in Power as the first protector of the spear, facing real and spiritual evils. She passed the spear to her sister, Lady Cristiana D’Clere, who Walked in Love with compassion and faith, people were healed in spite of dangers lurking in so many of Cristiana’s travels. Now the spear has been passed to Seraphina de Mowbray who Walks in Majesty. Seraphina, an orphan who was rescued as an infant, was brought up in Luxley Castle with the D’Clere sisters who loved Seraphina as a sister, though she was their “maid”. Seraphina accepted her role as the protector of the spear, knowing she would face many of the same perils the D’Clere sisters faced. The Knights of the Eternal Realm were there to protect her even when she did not appreciate them. Evil men were hard at work trying to capture the “Spear” which they believed held power they could use to their advantage. You will not want to put this book down until you have reached the surprising end. You will look for the many other books by MaryLu Tyndall!

Sadly, SHE WALKS IN MAJESTY, is the conclusion to the Protector of the Spear series by MaryLu Tyndall, but that is the only negative to this book.
A thrilling ride.
A treacherous journey.
A battle between evil and good.
And a love story that grows despite trials and tribulations.
Seraphina de Mowbray, the protector of the spear, must make her way to the capital city of Regalis. Her mission . . . an audience with His Majesty, King Peter II. Her hope . . . to clear her friends, the D’Clere sisters of the charge of witchcraft and Sir Ronar LePeine and Jarin the Just of treason. Even so, the journey is not without its obstacles. Evil surrounds her and there are those who want to see her stopped, dead even. But with the spear to protect her, she bravely trudges on knowing her friends face certain death. And even though she worries for Sir Damien’s safety, she is thankful to have him near.
Sir Damien struggles to do right. His heart is smitten with the beautiful Mistress Seraphina and wants only to keep her safe. Though he knows she has feelings for him, she also knows the minute he steps foot in Regalis, he will be arrested. But that doesn’t stop Sir Damien. He
insists on continuing with her on her journey, no matter the cost. However, when faced with the opportunity of finding out the person responsible for the death of his parents, he just might sacrifice it all for his ferocious revenge.
Good versus evil. Angels of light versus powers of darkness. Love and sacrifice. Brave knights. Strong heroines. Sacrifice and service. Kingdoms and spiritual realms. Ms. Tyndall spins them all together to create an amazing story that will keep you on the very edge of your seat. I can’t say enough about the incredible journey SHE WALKS IN MAJESTY will take you on. Though I am disappointed it’s the end of the series, I am more than thankful for the adventure.

Adventure, romance and faith
“She Walks in Majesty” is the third of a series of books set in medieval times. This is a story of royal power struggles, dark spiritual battles with the enemies of God and, warm blossoming romances that draw you into the hearts and lives of Seraphina and Damien, as well as the characters from the previous two stories. MaryLu has a way of not only writing captivating stories that stimulate your emotions, but she uses many situations throughout her stories to portray the truths of God through the experiences and the feelings of the characters themselves.
This fascinating series portrays three women who the Lord put in charge of protecting an ancient relic, the Spear that pierced the side of Christ. You are drawn into the dilemma – does the Spear itself actually have special powers or are they experiencing God’s power in their lives in ways they’ve have never seen before? Will Damien be able to protect Seraphina from the evil Lord Haleford and those trying to kill her. What awful truths might destroy the love between them? New surprises abound in every chapter.
This is not just an exciting, intriguing story with great Christian truths but has a lovely romance throughout. I have enjoyed all three of these books and definitely recommend them to anyone who loves a good romance laced with intrigue and excitement.

This is an awesome conclusion to this series and believe you and me this will blow y’all away!!
I simply couldn’t put it down!! This book will leave you thinking about it long after it’s over. Actually, the whole series will!
Marylu is one of the best at Medevil stories there is! Her characters are believable and realistic.
I love the Spiritual messages that are in this book and she somehow manages to get it right. I can feel her love for the Lord coming through this book.
Seraphina is one tough cookie and I liked her immediately. Her personality is one of a kind for sure!
I think one of the reasons is because before she does anything she stops and prays to the Lord for guidance. Something we should all do.
Another it’s because of her determination to right a wrong.
Damien gives me some mixed feelings as he only has his mind set on one thing only. He is one the King’s eliete guards or ex I should say in this case.
But, I will say this, him and Seraphina would make a great team and I will root for them both!!
This is a mix of good and evil. I like how the author writes that there are Spiritual being not of this world.
In fact, I know there are. I’ve experienced it myself. It’s kind of scary but yet at the same time it gives me a good feeling to know that there are angels out there to help us from evil.
It’s also a wonderful book with twists and turns throughout the story. It will keep u on the edge of your seat to see what happens next.
Disappointed you will not be. It’s exciting!!
You’ll find yourself a hollering at the characters and it will make you want to reach in the book to stop them from going to do something they shouldn’t.
The only thing I had a problem with was the word ere. In my opinion I felt that it was used too much.
I’m still giving this book 5 stars because I loved it.
I highly recommend this book. You’ll not want to put it down until it’s finished.
I stayed up all night to finish it.
I was not required to write a review for this book. NO compensations were received and all options are my own,
MaryLu Tyndall has penned another exhilarating, action-packed medieval journey—teeming with courageous, errant knights, lovely ladies, gallant lords, and opulent castles! However, underneath the guise of a lavish palatial lifestyle filled with merriment, lie betrayal, secrets, greed, and evil.
Who could help but fall in love with the humble, but beautiful orphan, Seraphina? Not I and certainly not Sir Damien, knight of the elite King’s guard. Such an honorable hero who even set my heart to fluttering! Their angsty romance and dangerous tasks kept me on the edge of my seat, madly flipping the pages til way past midnight!
The evil, malevolent characters were terribly frightening and akin to the dark spirits we encounter often in our daily lives…and the author insightfully reminds the reader how to overcome them. With many a twist and turn and a perfect HEA ending to this fabulous series, I highly recommend this exciting novel of love, redemption, and forgiveness! I sadly bid a fond “adieu” to the delightful heroes and heroines of the Protector of the Spear series. They shall be sorely missed.

This series was wonderful. I couldn’t turn the page fastest enough at times to find it what was happening next. I highly recommend this wonderful series it you like adventure and romance!
