Her baby is missing. She shouldn’t have trusted a stranger… relationship with her “husband.”
Daniel thought he was doing the right thing by helping the frantic woman and her baby and pretending she was his wife. The fact that he had ulterior motives was irrelevant, but the missing baby draws him into a deepening mystery with so many twists and turns, it makes his head spin.
Who is Ellen and what is she running from? Did a monster from her past finally catch up with her and her child, or is there another suspect lurking in the shadows?
When the truth finally surfaces, no one will be safe from the fall-out…
A thrilling psychological thriller that you won’t be able to put down!more
Cole Baxter is a very good writer. Unusual story lines that keep your interest.
This book was an excellent read. I highly recommend.
This isn’t the best book by this author, but it is an intriguing mystery. It’s a tad slow to get started, hang in there though as it does pick up. There are a lot of twists and turns in this story and it’s one that you have to pay attention to, or you can easily lose what’s going on and why.

Mixed emotions about this book.
Couldn’t put it down but realistically this book is not there.
This book was actually such a tragic story. It kept me interested and I was surprised where it finally ended.
I thought it was boring and unbelievable. I started skipping pages but wanted to see if it ended like I thought it would – it did.
I kind of thought something was strange ! Odd book with lots of holes but I still enjoyed it!
Really good story. Imaginative. Only sorry it was missing several pages. The ones that gave them the clue as to the kidnappers.
Ditched within 4-5 chapters. Yawn
This book did have me on the edge of my seat. The story grabbed me and pulled me in from the beginning. Very well written and hard to put down. I recommend reading.

She’s Missing is an intriguing, psychological thriller that had me on the edge of my seat at every turn wondering what would happen next. Ellen and Daniel are interesting characters that get pulled into something neither of them expected. Great writing and an ending that left me twisted and wanting more make this a great read.
This story snatched me up immediately and would not let me go until I lived out the entire story. It is such a compelling story that is well-written with a lot of action and suspense. Great story.

This is what I can only describe as a bit of weird yet quite compelling read. You do get hooked by this story very fast, and are never quite sure of whats going on or why these events have transpired. I’m still at a lose as to why Daniel picked Ellen and her baby, rescuing them from what?? The baby’s father?? It’s never really clear, just what or who Ellen is running from. When the baby goes missing, the plot thickens and you are taken through the police investigation into the disappearance, which just raises even more questions. The book then makes a very sudden jump to the closing chapters, which had me somewhat perplexed – how we did we get to that point? Why suddenly are the FBI involved? The ending does clear up these questions when everything tumbles out. Loved the epilogue, perhaps not the ending you expected but none the less a very good one.
