Good girls don’t get together with bad boys. When Jules meets Roman Verona at an exclusive Vegas party, she doesn’t suspect the bad blood that runs so deep between Roman and her boyfriend, Ty, until the two men have it out in front of her. Even worse, Jules finds out that Ty has never loved her. She storms away, only to have her ex’s sworn enemy offer her a ride into town… as well as a shocking … town… as well as a shocking proposal.
A nice girl wouldn’t even consider making her ex jealous with a sham marriage, so why does she chance it with Roman?
Acting the role of devoted husband, Roman soon becomes fascinated with more than Jules’s sweet smile and poetic soul. As her band’s fame grows in Vegas so do his feelings for her and what started out as revenge against his miserable cousin turns into something deeper.
But bad boys don’t settle down. So why does Roman risk everything to win Jules’ heart?
All bets are off in this modern and sleek tale of star-crossed love!

I loved this twist on Romeo and Juliet. The characters were fun and engaging. The chemistry between the characters was great. All around fun and sweet romantic read.
***4.5 stars***
My goodness! I had a wonderful time reading this book. It is a contemporary retelling of Romeo and Juliet. Two star-crossed lovers come together in the middle of a family feud.
Roman is a bad boy living life in Vegas. He is rich, handsome, and is able to do as he pleases. He is also smart and calculating. His reputation is in shambles, but his cousin Ty is considered to be a “catch”. I honestly feel like Roman is by far the better of the two.
Roman picks up the pieces of Jules as she is exiting a party that did not turn out with a happy ending for her. Roman has a plan and somehow gets Jules on board. A marriage of convenience in the chapel she laughingly pointed out to her ex-boyfriend, Roman’s cousin Ty.
The best revenge is to find happiness and love with someone else! This story has many swoon-worthy moments and is a page-turner. It is a guilty pleasure to read that you can feel good about reading and sharing with friends.

A great rivalry love story between two cousins Roman and Ty over Jules. Ty doesn’t appreciate Jules and is cheating on her; Roman wants some revenge and reveals the cheating. It’s a real tug of war over Jules, who will she pick?
I really enjoyed this story and highly recommend it.
I lovey loved this one! The story, the cover, everything! It’s my favorite from this author, I think.
I just love a good fake marriage story and this one felt new and fresh. There is an air of rebelliousness, revenge and recklessness as the story begins for both Roman and Jules. It was the perfect way to lure me in! I loved the chemistry between Roman and Jules and how it grew into friendship and respect and admiration. When you combine chemistry with those other attributes, love is sure to follow. Those are my favorite kind of love stories.
Roman does so many sweet things without Jules even knowing. I love how hard he tries to please her and speak her language. Jules is just sweet- from beginning to end. And speaking of the end . . . I loved it.
This book is on kindle unlimited.
Content: mild violence, kissing, mild innuendo
Although Vegas is known for its wedding chapels on every corner, I’ll never look at it in the same way again. When two cousins, Roman and Ty, battle it out at a family party, Jules finds herself leaving with the cousin she hasn’t been dating for a year…and marrying him in the spur of the moment.
I’m a fan of these ingenious fake marriage stories and this one stole my heart, mainly because it’s written in a very fresh, almost rebellious, yet humorous way, with fantastic characters. Roman is the bad boy of the family and of Vegas and his quick wit and unruly charm, along with his giant, adorable puppy, quickly caught my attention. Add to that a secret talent that you wouldn’t expect from a Harley riding, leather wearing rebel, and I was nearly swept clean off my feet–right along with Jules.
I love music and every time a song is written into a story, I’m dying to hear it. Jules is a singer/songwriter from the South and wrote a song for Roman on the spot. Swoon! I absolutely adored their complementary relationship and banter and eagerly awaited for their interactions.
Of course, no true love is complete without complications and I loved how those were tackled. So entertaining, with the sweetness arising to the top like cream. This story pure modern, flirty fun!
Content: mild+ romance (swoony kissing, implied cheating)
