He guards her body and her heart
Guarding Her is the sixth book in the Zaftig Dating Agency series by Jane Fox and it is a sweet, fun, dirty, intense, OTT story. Jared is thirty-six years old and is the bodyguard for Miles McGregor, a famous actor on the Spooky TV show. Miles has hired the dating agency to find Jared someone as Jared has been single every since they first met. Krissa is twenty-two years old and is getting her Masters degree in Modern Latin American Literature and is a huge fan of the show Spooky. She actually geeks out on it so much that she started and runs “the blog” that everyone reads, Spookyesque.
Jared and Krissa meet at Spooky Con which is the convention for all things Spooky related and Miles is there giving talks and signing things. It is lust at first sight for Jared when his eyes see her curves for the first time. But he is working so duty calls, even if he can barely even think about anything but her at that moment. Later that night they meet again at the bar in the hotel…………this scene made me laugh so hard as Krissa puts the moves on Jared, as she knows exactly who he is also. But Jared will not take advantage of her and instead they meet again at the convention the next day and he asks her to dinner that night. But some other things happen that night also which just puts the whole world right for these two.
This is another great addition to the Zaftig Dating Agency series. I enjoyed reading this short story that is a lovely little bite which melts deliciously in your mouth!!! A definite recommendation.
What a great story. This was action packed, quick, sexy, fun, steamy and an emotional adventure filled with undeniable passion and a great HEA.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were great. Would love to see a story for the supporting character Miles.
Jared is a bodyguard for an actor and fan conventions are part of his job. At one of the conventions, he meets a woman he can’t keep his eyes off. Krissa is a fan of the show that the actor Jared protects is in. She meets Jared at the convention and thinks that he’s hot, but that there was zero chance he would be interested in her. Meanwhile, in the background, the matchmaker – Zaftig Dating Agency – has worked to bring these two together.
Liked how Jared reacts when he sees Krissa for the first time. Got a kick out of their interactions later. I smiled a lot while reading this book. I recommend reading this story.
