Eli has been looking forward to his yearly trip to Camp Lost Lake—a sports camp for underprivileged kids—all season. He is more than ready for a month-long break from his offensive coordinator responsibilities. Until a public fight with the Piranhas’ star tight end, Colton Roth, and the subsequent media fallout, results in the pair being forced to spend the summer at Camp Lost Lake together.… together.
Colton is almost as good at antagonizing Coach Conley as he is at playing football, but as usual, his behavior has landed him in hot water. Now, his position with the Piranhas is on the line, and he must stay away from any potentially scandalous situations. Trying to stay on his best behavior doesn’t last long though, and after hooking up with Coach Conley, it looks like Colton might have put the final nail in his career’s coffin.
Can Colton and Eli survive an entire month in the middle of nowhere together? And will either of them still have their careers intact after the summer is over?
This is the second book in the Portland Piranhas series, but can be read as a standalone.

I enjoyed this book, but would have liked more details, etc
Being Enough is the second book in the Portland Piranhas series by author Ali Noland. While this book can be read as a standalone, I would read this series in order. Colton, we met in book one and this is his love story.
Colton, he is very open with his affections and knows it. He is laid back and always ready to party. He is used to getting things his own way.
Eli is the offensive coordinator for the NFL team. When Colton gets caught in yet another media firestorm and outed as bisexual, he has to redeem himself doing charity work. Eli is a rule follower, and Colton is a rule breaker.
I loved Eli and Colton together, they each have what the other needs in their life. They are both kind of sweet men who have fast different approaches to live in general. I loved watching them fall in love.
I am loving this series so far and I cannot wait for more books to come. I want to see who falls in love next and what happens when they do.
Five Shooting Stars
I loved Being Enough. It was even better than His Favourite Player. We got small glimpses of Eli and Colton in the first book, but I just loved their story. I love enemies to lovers and this one was great. It was super hot and sexy that was a fast read and thoroughly enjoyable. I definitely recommend this book.
Even better than book one! Great enemies to lovers story with sports theme and a lot of witty banter. Very entertaining with plenty of feels!
Ive said it before and ill say it again, i love me some sports romance and even better when its M/M, and the fact there’s a bit of an age gap? looove
I loved reading Colton and Eli’s story! Once i got started i couldnt put it down. I loved seeing them go from enemies to tolerating each other, to love. It was easy to fall in love with them as individuals and even easier as a couple. Their age gap was handled really well too.
Second in the series, but can definitely be read as a standalone
I can’t wait to read more in this series, oh how i hope there’s more
Well I really did it this time! It’s not bad enough I’m the offensive coach and I got into fist fight with one of my players. As punishment I have to take him with me as a coach at a month long sports camp I go to every year to help give back to underprivileged children. Now Colton and I are stuck sharing a cabin, and I’m starting to realize maybe he’s not exactly the what I thought an insensitive privileged scew up constantly causing trouble for me and the team. But now that I am getting a chance to really see the guy behind the bravado maybe I was wrong, now what am I going to do. Really enjoyed this fast reading fast paced sports romance, such a great read
Being Enough is book two in the Portland Piranhas series by Alie Nolan. This is contemporary m/m romance with a sports theme and a first time bisexuality awakening. Eli and Colton are fantastic characters that go from fighting to loving… their chemistry is hot. The book is sweet, sexy and fun with not too much drama. Loved it.
