Teagan suddenly goes from having no family to an instant sibling group. Not only does she have two sisters to contend with, but her brother-in-law’s best friend is a dominant, nosy, and incredibly sexy former navy Seal who won’t take no for an answer. Publisher’s Note: This steamy contemporary romance contains elements of power exchange.

Engaging storyline and down to earth characters. Would highly recommend this book. I found I could really relate to the storyline and it pulled me in right away. Fab work.
This is a very pleasant read, maybe not the deepest of stories but it was both captivating and entertaining. Luca and Teagan were immensely likeable characters and I found it easy to buy into their feelings for one another. The book easily held my attention and I loved how Luca supported Teagan as she struggled, disciplining her but also treating her with respect and care.
This is a Domestic Discipline story, with elements of power exchange, but whilst it was discussed a fair amount we actually saw very few discipline scenes first hand. I felt the balance of plot, steam and discipline was excellent, the pace and story never dragged. Whilst I’m not sure that type of relationship would be for me, the author definitely portrayed it in a way that made it easy to understand and also to enjoy. I always wonder when the guy says “you’ll answer to me”, who exactly HE will answer to, but then he shows just how thoughtful, caring and dependable he is, so I let it pass!
I’ve not read RJ Gray before but I will make an effort to do so in the future.
The mating call of two bad a$$es. Teagan’s history absolutely broke my heart. She survived such a harsh childhood, I’m in awe of the woman she’s become. This time it was the hero that left me scratching my head. Normally I adore a strong military (or former military) hero, but there were some things about Luca that didn’t sit quite right with me. He does an amazing job of talking out the relationship he wants with Teagan, however he plows right over her legitimate reservations. He tells her they need to communicate openly, yet he doesn’t seem to be very good at listening to her when she does. I was also concerned to note that there were times when Luca appeared to be more concerned with the dynamics of their relationship than the people and their emotions that made it up. I thought that the ending is utterly precious, but for me it felt a lot like it came out of nowhere. I’m anxiously looking forward to the next book because there are still answers I’m desperately searching for.

fun read
This is middle book in a trilogy & while technically it’s standalone, there is an overarching storyline that commenced with Book 1 (Finding Rowena) & will no doubt conclude with Book 3 (Finding Evie). Teagan has only recently discovered that she is an identical triplet & has reconnected with her sisters. This brings her into contact with Luca. Now, I’m not a huge Daddy Dom fan. There have been some that I’ve enjoyed, some that I haven’t. It’s certainly not a go-to genre for me. However, this book just did it for me. Luca is everything you could possibly want in a dominant man & I just melted through almost every interaction between Luca & Teagan. Loved it. Can’t say anything else.
First of all, this is book 2 in a series where each book is written by a different author. So if you haven’t read Finding Rowena, I recommend reading it first so you have more of the background story. Each book can be read as a stand alone book but you’ll have fewer questions if they are read in order.
Finding Teagan is well written and you feel like you are part of her story. The author does a great job creating interest in the other characters and their stories in the book so you’ll want to read book 1 if you haven’t already. Once you finish reading this one, you’ll be on the edge of your seat waiting for the next one to come out.

I enjoyed this romance about tough detective Teagan and Luca, the equally tough man who loves her and wants her to accept that they have a chance for a happy future together. Teagan grew up under some very tough circumstances and that effects her ability to trust, especially when the man she is attracted to wants a domestic discipline relationship. I enjoyed watching this couple navigate their way to a relationship that just might work for them. That said, Teagan’s relationship with family members felt forced to me and their interactions felt way over the top. Also, a plot point, that while not central, was certainly prominent in the story was left incomplete. I feel like it will be another book and that didn’t sit well with this reader. All in all, I did enjoy the story and recommend it with four stars but for me it missed the five star mark of the author’s book, Absolving Amy.
